It doesn't matter if it is intentional. It was helmet to helmet, period. Like it or not, that's the rule. I am actually glad they are enforcing them all. Even if I didn't like the rule, the "this one counts, this one doesn't" stuff is worse. Think about face mask penalties... The 5-yard incidental face mask call was always a load of crap, a tough call for the official.

I sat in the family section for the Steelers game last year. It is pretty tame, and we had kids with us. It was fine. Bottom line, it is your decision to take the kids to the game. The behavior of fans is part of the experience.

The first game I went to @ the Ralph was a Jets game. About 5 minutes into the 1st quarter there were 2 Jets fans being escorted out by security. Their idiot voices confirmed they were definitely from NJ, as they gave security crap the entire way up the isle. I did meet a pretty cool Jet fan in the old smoking area at the half though. He said he hated going to games in the Meadowlands because the fans were such "retards" (his word). He and the wife made a weekend of it every year, did the falls and all that crap. He was very complimentary of the Ralph, loved the atmosphere, etc. So if you find that guy, he is the one cool Jet fan. Does Fireman Ed make it to the Ralph?

I prefer the comments made by Jaws to Gruden. Gruden whines too much about the refs. He did tone down the amount of jargon he was using when he started. He sounded like he was in the huddle, not the broadcasting booth.
