  1. Plus trades were not allowed at that time due to the lockout.
  2. I've yet to read a bad report on Pears, haven't heard anything great, but nothing bad either.
  3. "There has been alot of speculation about the Bills trading their WR Lee Evans, it turns out they are open to dealing Lee Evans their former 1st round pick, and it looks like a trade could be consumated within the next 48 hours, he would be a vertical threat for whichever team trades for him." - Adam Schefter
  4. I've not heard anything bad about Pears this offseason or training camp and have a hard time trashing him before seeing him play in any type of game.
  5. Wood probably finds a spot on their Oline at RG I'd take Stevie Johnson over Chad Johnson Maybe Evans over Branch or Tate Fred Jackson I would view as better than Green-Ellis They're playing a 43 so it's tough to compare defenses. But I'd take Merriman over Andre Carter Kyle Williams over Shaun Ellis Barnett over Ninkovich and/or Brandon Spikes Not sure on McGee or Florence vs. Bodden

  7. So now they're talking about the Bills but not in an optomistic enough tone for everyones liking? Arent the same arguments had on this board, the Evans thread is basically the entirety of their conversation.
  8. Steve Smith signed a one year deal with a contending team in which he is going to start the season on the PUP list due to offseason surgery. I highly doubt the Bills were on Smith's radar for the type of deal he was looking for. Not a missed opportunity, it's one that was never there.
  9. Bell is practicing today, as for Andrews he went MIA on Philadelphia and after returning missed most of the 2008 season with a back injury that eventually required surgery. He then missed all of 2009 after re injuring the back. The injury also flared up mid season last year resulting in hospitalization My link and games missed. This guy sounds as bad or worse than Gaither when it comes to injury history.
  10. Here's a link: http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Troup-has-cracked-bone-in-hand/fd78720f-05b9-44dc-a4ad-b4d8e8132fa0
  11. That's the problem. Along with attitude concerns.
  12. Joe Buscaglia #Bills WR Stevie Johnson does NOT want to see Lee Evans go anywhere: "This is Lee we're talking about. He's our guy. To lose him, it would be like, 'Man, I can't believe he's gone.' But you can't really dwell on it. Now we're just hoping that it's not going to happen."
  13. Slight difference in the Boldin & Marshall deals in that the trading teams were then going to have to give them new large contracts reducing their market value.
  14. Urbik was picked up off waivers from Pittsburgh, there were reportedly multiple other teams that put in claims.
  15. He's listed as their starting LT, I doubt they're looking to move him. I'm guessing the return would be similar to what they got for Marshawn, so a 4th & a 6th?
  16. Due to the position he plays, even when the season starts it's going to be difficult to quantify his impact with stats etc. More of an eyeball test, which he seemingly has been passing in camp. Seems as though all of the camp reports I've read haev raved about the push the Dline as a whole is getting up front. Even Chan has said as much in his post practice interviews.
  17. Agreed, White may stick around over Torbor based on ability to play specs.
  18. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2011/08/08/the-reason-moats-is-now-an-ilb/ No mention of Maybin.
  19. Washington with John Beck or Rex Grossman starting at QB are in the running.
  20. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5177/player?r=1 $757K for 2011 plus incentives that I'm sure have not been reached. Not overly restrictive, though I doubt anyone would want to give something for him if they know they could have him for free in a few weeks.
  21. Torbor & Moats are playing ILB, Coleman and Batten would be other options at OLB.
  22. Only making $2M this year. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/2278/chris-kelsay
