  1. Why would you assume that? After Davis was a 4th rounder. After Shakir was a 5th rounder. so if Shakir helps make this WR group a decent to good group, why couldn’t a flier on a 4th or 5th round guy like McMillain, or Rice, or Baker have done the same? And if you want to argue that they wouldn’t be much help this year anyway, my reply would be we need to plan for the future anyway. It took both Davis and Shakir to get a year or 2 under their belts to really help with production.
  2. Right. If they would have drafted another one (Franklin joking aside) I would have felt a lot better. There were plenty of opportunities to get a Franklin, Baker, Rice, Wilson, McMillian, etc. Someone, anyone that might have been a help. Instead they apparently believe Hollins, Hamler, Shorter are going to round out the top 6, and that’s just terrible. You had a need for a WR when Davis left, even before trading Diggs. They created another hole. The hole is their number 1 target, and replaced it with a guy that’s barely had a year over 800 yards and 3 TDs, and a rookie that can’t separate, and was like you said, the 8th best WR in many people’s boards. there was legit nobody in the first 10 WRs I didn’t want less than this kid. Really hope I’m wrong and he becomes great. But I definitely have my doubts.
  3. This. I remember when I used to fall for their crap too. Now it’s just the same old crap every year. While I do like some of the picks in this draft, I can’t help but feel like we are definitely rebuilding. Just sucks we’re dealing with this in the middle of having the best player that will ever wear a bills uniform. Such a waste
  4. All this back and forth and I can’t help but feel all warm and fuzzy that you are giving me so much attention. It’s almost like you and the OP are husband and wife.
  5. I came here to add the fact that Hamler likely that FA/trade spot that was posted oh what a sorry looking group of WRs
  6. lol. Yeah but I know 3 yards is ALMOST 10 feet
  7. Why isn’t this a poll? no not even close The homer fans are ridiculous. Everyone so quick to love everything they did and refuse to believe we are worse at the position this year.
  8. I disagree about it being the best opening day roster. The year with Sanders was probably the best. who really cares. We’re talking about the failures of our past here. Let’s stop living in the past and focus in our future. It’s sucks right now. End of story. If we make the playoffs this year I’d be shocked. lol. I will admit I liked Solomon. Can’t remember if I wanted another DE at this spot more. But I do like Solomon. Let’s hope this staff doesn’t ruin him and turn him into a 9 snaps a game rotational player.
  9. Is that like 4.61 on almost as fast as 4.3 in the 40? If it’s only 8 feet then it’s more like 4.61 is almost as fast as 4.35. Or somewhere in there. I’m not a mathematician like the OP or you apparently. but I do know that 10 feet is a significant distance in a race as short as 40 yards.
  10. everyone watch out for this guy. The grammar cop is here.
  11. No. I agree that the coach was terrible and not good enough. had the roster actually been better we wouldn’t have had to worry about having the coach steal games away from the roster all year and to end the season. we can be both. If the roster was good enough, we would have had reasonable backups to come in and cover Travis Kelce in the divisional round of the playoffs instead of some guy that sat on his couch all season.
  12. You did see the part where I said “almost” right?
  13. Pretty sure every single one of these guys is faster than Coleman
  14. We disagree. If they ALMOST won. Despite having all these issues you point out, then the roster wasn’t good enough. but I have argued multiple times that the bigger problem with this team is McD and I’ll stick to that. But the fact that we had a guy like Klein even suited up for a playoff game says we weren’t good enough. We had Williams there and McD choose not to use him. After he drafted him in rd3 the very same year. He choose Klein after sitting on his couch all year to a guy that was in his locker room all year. Jesus I can’t believe we have to relive this right now.
  15. I’m kind of there too. If he truly was “their guy” then why did they chance not taking him at 28 or 32? What happens if one of those 5 picks was Coleman? Then we’d be saying that AD Mitchell was our guy all along.
  16. Pretty much this. Not to mention that if Beane had this grand plan and was all set with WR before the Diggs trade, then why did he continue through this draft and only take 1 WR to replace the 2 WRs that we let go. let’s face it, we only took Coleman because Diggs was traded. If we didn’t trade Diggs they believed they were set at WR. hate to say it but I called that since the end of the season.
  17. No. I’ve generally argued that it was mostly our coach, gameplan, play calling, and terrible in game decisions, including adjustments, clock management, etc. so I don’t have much to say about this other than that. But overall, our roster was not good enough. Hasn’t been since 13 seconds really. Damn shame McD ruined our best shot at glory since SB25
  18. Someone else too I thought. It wasn’t just 1 QBs career. It was 2. I can’t remember the other one. But I do have a Moats autograph on a Bills football. Thought it might be worth something some day. Pretty sure i couldn’t get what I paid for the football now.
  19. And they could have just as easily missed the playoffs with a few less plays. So I guess we’re gonna argue about that. They made it tho. Great. Then did nothing with it. Decided to start AJ Klein at LB to cover the best TE in the history of the league after spending the year on his couch. Guess we’re just gonna have to disagree with how close we are.
  20. Yeah and they’ve lost in every game that matters in the playoffs too. I’ll defer to it trusting McD and his process. As they used to say…Show me the baby
