  1. It was all the “fans” from Canada that would jump on band wagons of teams that were doing well. Well, that and every single one of them was a pats “fan”
  2. That’s DUI (driving under the influence) fyi.
  3. The best and baddest 1T to come out in a long while. Someone that would for sure help our defense in the run game. There isn’t anyone else in the draft like him. There’s like 5 Oliver’s tho. So if you want another 3T by all means, wait.
  4. Got it. Say no more. You’re fully against anyone with a brush with the law. Even if it’s a young 20 year old kid and would prefer someone with lesser talent and ability because they’re a better person. Got it McDermott. idk about you but I want players that can win. Players with talent. I’m not choosing a guy over someone else simply because of a few small concerns. He’s young. He’ll learn. Probably already did after dropping significantly in draft boards and costing him millions.
  5. My point is right around draft time all sorts of things come out. It’s comical that you don’t think a lot of these kids make absolutely stupid mistakes. Like every single one of them. Yet only certain ones make headlines. anyone remember that Josh is racist? end of the day, I want good football players. I don’t care about mild character concerns over drunk driving or something like that. and yes, we absolutely need a 1T. Can’t spend resources on a other guy that can’t stop the run.
  6. We’re drafting based on what the populous of TBD would do, not what choir boy McDermott wants. and I haven’t looked at the article about him at this point because, well, it’s draft season and all the sudden lots of stories like these come out all over the place. For all we know, Beane floated that out there to hope he drops to 60.
  7. I would say if anyone wants Sweat to start a poll soon. We will for sure have to trade up to 51 at the latest. The Rams pick at 52 and there’s no way after losing Donald they aren’t going to address DT at some point. Who’s got 50 and 51? Are you entertaining offers at this point? scratch that. Saw the Rams took Murphy already. Still. A poll is needed imo.
  8. @Virgil you can lock it up. Nobody’s getting another 60 votes to overtake Franklin here.
  9. I’d offer a little less and see if it can get done. But I’d do it regardless. We did get those 2 extra picks out of our trade back from 28, so that helps a little.
  10. Don’t hate this idea. But I also don’t think the Bills do it
  11. Voted Franklin and it’s not even close. But I will add what some others have said, we should attempt to trade up to about 50 if Sweat is still there. Since this poll is ending and the draft will continue, maybe while people are still making their picks, put a new poll out there asking this very thing. I don’t know what the trade chart value is to move from 58 to 50. But whatever that value is, should be polled if we should do it.
  12. I don’t believe it was in a blizzard. It was extremely cold from what I remember. But was also in my teens so I don’t remember exactly. but I think the lister had worn off after we lost in the previous 2 SBs and we just lost to the Oilers a week before.
  13. I voted trade back because Mitchell was gone. Don’t believe any of the others is worth it there. But do we have a specific trade back option? Who is offering us their picks and what are the offers? Because I wouldn’t want to trade back to the 50s for an extra 3rd rounder. It’s need to know info
  14. I think you need to post this like 4 times. Yeah and “the Comeback game” didn’t sell out despite 200k people saying they were there and didn’t leave. point is, it’s all old hat after you start and keep winning. Especially when it’s the same story every year.
  15. Right? I think this makes the most sense. Have to wait until we’re up to see what trades are available.
  16. “Many people like to fault McDermott or Frazier (usually McDermott to my eye) for the defense falling apart in theplayoffs. I see it differently. I see it as McDermott and Beane built a defense where "the whole is much greater than the sum of the parts". This is what I’m referring to. They fall apart in the playoffs because they were never really that great anyway. In the playoffs it’s more about good coaching than regular season imo. It’s when the best of the best coaches (generally) have the upper hand. McDermott has been outcoached in the playoffs against superior coaches imo. But my point as still that I believe McDermott has his hands in the draft picks and FAs more than people think. He has a personal preference for players imo. Good guys that are good team mates. Lunch Pail took kind of guys. End of the day he needs to get over it and get some guys that are just monsters that can play. Not everyone is a choir boy. Need to have some nasties on the team. i don’t know what happened with Elam. Why they don’t like him. But I’ll say this, he’s got 3 ints (I think) in important situations when we needed it. Pretty sure 2 or 3 in the playoffs or games leading to the playoffs. Yet they feel he doesn’t deserve to be on the field. Not sure what their issue is with him but it doesn’t make sense to me.
  17. I pretty much agree with all of it expect the parts about McDermott working with what he’s got. imo McDermott has much more say on the roster and draft picks than people want to give him credit for. We’ve all known that McDermott answers directly to Pegula. Imo he gets what he wants in the draft and FA. There isn’t a move that Beane makes that doesn’t get McDermotts approval first. other than Elam, not sure what happened there at all. Because he is not in McDermotts mold at all. Was never a zone guy. Unless McDermott thought about using him another way or what I have no idea. For all we know he fell in love with the fact that Elam brought a notepad with him to the interview and McDermott loves that kind of thing.
  18. Yeah I never took anything personal at all from you about your ongoing opinion of whatever you tho know going to happen or has happened. I am simply stating that you are all over the place which I imagine everyone else in this thread can attest to that. Although I think it’s funny that you said “In a completely separate conversation I spoke about how night games sold well” which is what I was replying to in the first place. But I brought it up because you do know that you replying in a thread titled “PSL Pricing/Seat Selection Discussion” right? I have no problem affording my tickets. I’ve upgraded and spent more on my tickets in each of the last 2 years. And for the record I haven’t stated if I am or am not going to renew for the new stadium. I have no need to block you as I find it funny with all the arguments you have going with just about everyone on the board. Yet everyone else is wrong. Got it. again, on the selling of night games. I sold 6 regular home games last season. And 2 playoff games. I can vouch for the fact that the night games I sold JUST LAST YEAR, not 2 and 3 years ago. Did not do as well as you think. Maybe when you last had tickets, the thought of night games was a cool and popular thing. But when the team has more night games at home than 1pm games, it loses its luster. I and many others that actually have season tickets and have had them for a long time, and have had them as recently as last year can vouch for that. You however want to argue that the opening day of the season which happened to be a night game, and a playoff game which was the first playoff game with full attendance in 20 years were great for your resale. Great. We all knew that here. Now get season tickets this year, and try and sell a meaningless night game against the Jaguars, in October, and tell me how you did. Until then, keep your opinions to yourself. Adults with knowledge of the situation are taking here.
  19. Sure. Go ahead and post 3 more playoff games from the 90s bills and tell me how well you did on resale for those games. you’ve recently stated you haven’t had tickets in a while. Then you said the last game you sold was the Titans game 2 seasons ago. Then the first playoff game at home in front of a full crowd in 20 years. just stop. Post about something you actually have knowledge of. I sold 6 regular season games last year and 2 playoff games. I made money overall. I made money on all regular season games. And lost money on 1 playoff games. But you’re arguing so many different things you can’t even remember what your original point was. Hell, no one else can because you keep flip flopping back and forth. First you talk about how little money people have and how we can’t afford PSLs but then talk about how well resale is. When you haven’t even done it in 2+ years. But your next post will be to point out that the majority of fans in the area live in mom’s basement and flip burgers for $15/hr and cannot afford tix. But yet the stadium is sold out every game, and there’s a 7k person waiting list. JUST STOP ALREADY. EVERYONE IS SICK OF HEARING IT OVER AND OVER. and that means a lot coming from me because everyone here loves me so much.
  20. Read what I typed again. And then think about your existence.
  21. Just stop. Now you’re talking about the year before that? The first real playoff game in the stadium because Covid robbed us from the Colts game (I was at) and the Baltimore game. just stop guy. Making yourself look even more ridiculous with every post. Leave this thread and find something that you know to argue about.
