  1. RotoWorld ranks Whaley 17th best....mediocre http://www.rotoworld.com/articles/nfl/61907/57/nfls-best-gms-2016?pg=2
  2. USA Today ranked Whaley 24th best....not good enough http://ftw.usatoday.com/2016/04/ranking-2016-nfl-general-managers
  3. Whaley is not bad and not great..... so far, he is mediocre.
  4. forgot to say, to pick Paxton Lynch.
  5. Draftmas morning is finally here
  6. what if a player slips on a wet rubber mat while running between fields at Bills training camp ? hey...it could happen.
  7. at this point, i'd take it.
  8. True Accuracy metric.... This year's class doesn't challenge the very best numbers in this category. Wentz and Goff are neck and neck on this, but Lynch eclipses both. While scouts have questioned how often Lynch stuck to short passes -- he threw 42 percent of passes less than 5 yards, compared to 36.4 percent for Goff and 29.3 for Wentz -- this stat accounts for the distance of his passes, and he still comes out on top. http://espn.go.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/15232186/a-closer-look-top-nfl-draft-qb-prospects-carson-wentz-jared-goff
  9. Bills trade down from #19 with the Cleveland Browns, who jump ahead of the Jets. Bills get Rd 2, pick1 (32) and Rd 3, pick 2 (65) and Rd 4 pick1 (99).
  10. put brady on the Commissioner’s exempt list until this is all sorted out (paid leave pending resolution of the player’s status under Personal Conduct Policy). watch how fast it gets settled.
  11. delay, delay, delay NFLPA: No end in sight to fight with NFL over Deflategate This fight may go on so long that Brady is ready to retire before the NFL can finally force him to serve that four-game suspension. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/04/26/nflpa-no-end-in-sight-to-fight-with-nfl-over-deflategate/
  12. would not be surprised to see bills trade down. could be interest in a team jumping ahead of Jets for Paxton Lynch.
  13. folding them in half lengthwise is dangerous too.
  14. i'm not saying he will win. i'm saying he will keep delaying.
  15. yes, yes and hell yes minimum expectations = has a pulse
  16. First, a request for rehearing (which must be filed if at all within 14 days) operates as an automatic stay of the suspension. It means that Brady, if a petition for rehearing is filed, would have his suspension held in abeyance until, at the earliest, the Second Circuit decides not to conduct a rehearing and, at the latest, until the rehearing is resolved with another ruling against Brady and the NFLPA. If the petition for rehearing is granted, a source with knowledge of the Second Circuit procedures tells PFT that it’s quite possible (if not likely) that Brady will be able to play the entire 2016 season, regardless of the outcome. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/04/25/brady-nflpa-should-definitely-pursue-a-rehearing-before-the-full-second-circuit/
  17. he will delay it til 2017
  18. twice every year, get your popcorn ready, this is going to be good.
  19. lots of ways to build a championship team, but the most important position by far is QB. i'm a big fan of TT but his long term status as our #1 QB is unsettled (for one year wonder questions, injury and most importantly his signability). we don't have a #2 on the roster, therefore taking a position player who will provide immediate help is short term thinking. EJ will never be a #1 or #2.....therefore keeping him as a #3 instead of grooming a potential #1 is also short term thinking. both rex and doug are in save their azz/job mode, thinking short term. hopefully some of that "refreshing" point of view the pegulas are bringing to the war room, that whaley mentioned, includes a QB very early in the draft (1st or 2nd round) and another one late in the draft.
  20. paxton lynch would be the best possible long term option at #19. unfortunately we have short term thinkers making decisions.
  21. but we are a happy miserable..... kinda like a dry heat.
  22. bills are more likely to trade down than up.
  23. be leary of alabama LB's they are protected by legfit NFL bound lineman. makes em look better than they really are.
  24. and after we miss the playoffs this year..... regime change.... wash, rinse, repeat.
