I agree with that. i'm all for upgrading QB....but i'm not getting rid of TT until we are 100% certain that better QB is already on team. it's a lot easier said than done to find a Top 10 franchise QB.

TT was under pressure 19 of 41 plays (carr 5 of 35)the O-line is not protecting him. and that stat that says he "holds onto the ball longer than any quarterback in the league" is because of his own legs...not the protection. put TT behind the dallas or Oakland O-line and we are not having this conversation.

last year 2015 TT was ranked 7th in BOTH passer rating (99.4) & total qbr (70.3) you cant dismiss "other factors" like #1 wr Sammy broken foot, #2 wr woods injured, #3 wr Hogan traded, #1 RT Henderson crohn's, #1 center wood injured, #1 rb McCoy dinged, #2 rb gilislee dinged, #1 TE clay stayed home, new coach OC.

from a competition standpoint....it makes no sense to bring in a 3-4 coach to a team that already has a Top 5 defense using 4-3. the entire roster gets turned over. kyle & dareus are "penetrating" DT in a 4-3. neither is a true NT in a 3-4. hiring Rex only made sense from a marketing standpoint.

we are only a QB, WR, RT, NT, CB & S away from contending.

not good enough. his #1 wr is playing with a broken foot not getting separation. his #1 TE stayed home. the rest of his WR's are #4's & #5's, his RT can't protect him. his defense gave him zero extra possesions. i'm all for upgrading the QB, but that's easier said than done. heard a stat yesterday, the steelers are 7-1 when they score 24 points. tough to win when your defense gives up 38.

expect to watch a comedy.....it's less stressful than a drama.

38 points, 0 sacks, 0 turnovers is a lot worse than TT's day. drives/plays/result: 10 FG, 11 TD, 5 punt, 6 punt, 2 TD, 10 TD, 3 punt, 3 punt, 1 int, 13 fumble

so then, 14/20 , zero interceptions when NOT under pressure (like Carr enjoyed all day). FIX the O-line.

#1 - the going rate for QB will be pushing $25 mil/yr...(carr, cousins, luck, romo, flacco, palmer, ryan , Stafford) #2 - tyrod's deal averages about $17 mil/yr cap hit which would make him the 20th highest paid qb in 2017. #3 - his contract is team friendly with very low dead money after every single season. #4 - keep tyrod until you are absolutely sure you have someone better already on team. don't cut him and go hoping, wishing. #5 - get healthy (wr, rb, c), upgrade RT, add a WR and watch TT return to alternate pro bowl level.

it's still a mystery on how the injury occurred in the first place.
