  1. I don't have an issue with Lynch. He is a good hard straight ahead runner. he is a liability in the passing game (poor catching and can't block at all). He's a middle of the road starter maybe in the middle tier of the NFL, maybe. He really is nothing more on the field a clone of Travis without the fumbling problems. And if I was crayonz I'd be in love with Lynch. I mean come on how many guys get to run over a Canadian and get away with it. Hell if crayonz had his way it'd be a sport like Death Race - Canadian.

BTW, I do take huge issues with Evans. Yeah he way underperforms and he talks way too much.

    You are way off!!

you are clearly too negative and you gotta get the SH*$t out of your eyes. He is not a liability in the pass game he is a valuable asset. As far as being strictly a straight ahead runner, that is laughable, and to say he is the 5th best runningback in the division, once again get the SH*$T out of your eyes!!

  2. Nicks? No way, IMO

    1. Bills - North Carolina WR Hakeem Nicks

Buffalo took a stab at finding Lee Evans' complement last year, tabbing James Hardy in round two. Hardy developed extremely slowly before tearing his ACL and can't be relied on for next season. With sensational ball skills and good size (6'1/215), Nicks would give the Bills a T.J. Houshmandzadeh-like possession presence and a go-to option inside the 20.

I love Hakeem Nicks!!! I'm a Big Carolina Fan and I saw every game they played this year but one, and I think there is a real chance that he will be the Best Wide reciever coming from this year's draft. But No way would I draft him with our first pick, we have too many needs to fill to be drafting a WR. Even though I love the way he plays. He will be a very good one in this league.

  3. The more I read about Pettigrew the more I like him. What I have been reading about him is that he has been the most dominating blocking TE that they have seen in years. No one stacks up even close to him, and that he is faster in straight line speed then what many people are saying about him. I think he is gonna be better than what many people are anticipating. I prefer the Brown, Orapko, Curry, Raji over him at this point, but after that it is close between him and Mack if one of those aren't available.

  4. A lot of free agents to consider? Jabari Greer should come back, and Crowell is a decision. They have TWO UFAs who are even worth talking about. Whittle and Chambers are unsuccessful as backups, and Duke Preston might be the worst center in the league.

Gotta disagree with ya!! I think Chambers is proving to be a successful backup and I think Preston will be a valuable Utility backup Lineman that can play both Guard and Center. Lock them up!!

Jabari Greer could be a good resign, but I have a feeling that some team will offer him close to a $7Million dollar a year contract making him to expensive, but if not then He should recieve some serious consideration. Crowell we should be able to get I'm thinking for something around the $3 Million dollar a year range. We should Lock up Peters, Probably will cost us around the $8-9 Million dollar a year range. Sign Jackson to a nice long term extension and cut Kelsay and Mccargo.

  5. Dont compare college to the pros. he has been in the same system for 5 years now. Its not easy to go from a D thats engrained in your head to the Cover 2. Totally different responsibilities.

I will compare the two because that is his natural position. When he made the "switch" from 4-3 to 3-4 it was a new position for him, but he made the transition a smooth one. It won't be that difficult for him to transition back to it. Not to mention he basically plays in a DE down stance alignment more than half the time anyway. So it's the same thing. Did you not happen to catch the game against the steelers? His two biggest plays in the game in were as a down lineman (2 sacks).

  6. The Bills have been one of the worst run defending teams in the league for the last four seasons. They allow almost 125 rushing yards per game, 4.3 yards per carry and gave up 18 rushing TDs this past season. That was their best effort since 2004...and it sucks. Not only that, but they're paper thin at the position. If (when?) McCargo receives his walking papers in a few weeks, the Bills will be left with only 3 DTs on the roster. One of those, Marcus Stroud, will be 31 this upcoming season and has a recent history of nagging injuries.

Given this, its all but certain that the Bills are going to add a DT fairly high, anyway. Given the problems they've had against the run and the need of another quality DT prospect, it seems to me that a strong case can be made for adding Raji at 11 if the Bills believe that he's worthy of that spot. Myself, I can't see Raji's potential addition to this lineup as anything but a positive for the Bills defense.

    very valid points

  7. Marv hired DJ after observing his shortcomings in Chicago for five seasons. I don't know how many games Marv saw from 99-03, but he should have known better to hire DJ. I will freely admit it could have been due to conditions Wilson set:

    1. The coach have previous HC exprience and...

    2. He be cheap (less than 1.5M per)

I agree DJ has been bad and responsible for no less than those 4 losses this season. But Marv's biggest decision was his first, and he went with the wrong guy. Bears fans knew that in 03 Jauron was terrible. Why couldn't Marv figure that out as well?

    can we trade you?

  8. I personally disagree. The reason we lost at least two of those Super Bowls was because we were soft through the middle of the defense. If we had had Pat Williams at NT instead of the small and fast Jeff Wright, we would have picked up at least two rings.

I think the same thing too!! I wish we had Pat Williams instead of Jeff Wright in the middle. There is no doubt that we would of won the first game against the Giants. O.J killed us in the second half

  9. Not even close:

Player Att Yds Avg Lng TD

    Lynch 36 93 2.6 14 7

    Jones 57 185 3.2 17 11

    Staton 63 131 2.1 11 6

    Johnson 28 82 2.9 16 6

    Tomlinson 55 134 2.4 14 11

    Brown 36 101 2.8 16 9

    Jones-Drew 31 89 2.9 8 11

    parker 33 104 3.2 16 6

    White 44 77 1.8 6 14 \

Those bolded are easily better in the redzone and I haven't even looked for redzone specialists.

Your putting way too much emphasis on stats. You have to take into account the offensive line, qb, game plan, wr's, te's lots of things.

He is a very serviceable back, but nothing more.

  10. Dunno Mangold seems to be a pretty good 1st round center

Ya, that general statement by Bucky wasn't to clever, if there is a probowl player to be had at center, and it is a need, then drafting him in the first round makes a lot of sense. Mack seems to have it....

Having said that, I still believe that a more pressing need is our DE. Our pass rush sucks!! As far as Raji being more suited for the 3-4, that may seem right on the surface, but a good football Interior lineman would thrive in a 4-3 as well. Just think about it, Stroud and Raji, It would definitely improve our Run Defense and most likely free up other Defensive lineman and Linebackers for pass pressure opportunity's.

I like the Idea of Raji more and more. But I still prefer Brown and Orapko as of right now.

  11. “I’m a little surprised it happened,” Schobel said about Buffalo letting Kollar out of his contract to come to Houston. “I enjoyed playing for him.

“I really liked him off the field, too. Now that he’s in Houston and I’m in Columbus, we can get together and play golf.”

Apparently Jauron gave his hires his word that he wouldn't hold them back from a job they really wanted, even if they were under contract. This is yet ANOTHER example of how Jauron can't be the man steering the ship, he's a pu$$. DO u thik Belicheat or Tuna would allow one of their guys to get out of a contract to make a lateral move to another AFC team??? What a joke.

    Another bitter fan!!

    :worthy:

  12. Is it 'ethnical' for Peters to demand more money, if he's damaged goods?

Who knows what happened between Parker Peters and the Bills F.O.? Guy showed up late, lame, and pretty much sucked, so I can't blame the Bills for letting things sit. Now, Peters is lame again, or claims he is, so should we rush a Brinks truck to his door?

Dude you are Jaded and bitter!!

Peters is our best player period.

I will take Belichek and the rest of the NFL's opinion over yours and the rest of the bitter fools on this message board that feel the same way as you.
