Darnold was playing the same type of “hero ball” Josh used to play without any superfriends. Josh played in a pro style offense in Wyoming. Darnold just played against better competition at USC and looked great with talent around him. We’ll revisit this conversation next season once the Jets hire a competent staff to help his development. Darnold has been working out with Allen every off season since drafted with Jordan Palmer
