  1. Oh dear God. That's it I'm never clicking on another link posted on this board. Excellent work!
  2. That's mainly because Moran says "source" not "sources." A real publication will not print a story unless it can confirm its information with at least two independent sources. This is how journalists attempt to verify a story before making such an allegation. Mr. Moran does not appear to be so constrained. If I were him, or any of the folks at his website, I would be concerned about a potential libel suit from Merriman. If this is not true, and I don't believe it is, then Moran has a lot of 'splaining to do.
  3. Don't bring rational thought into this, people want to rant and riot against the Bills. The Bills had too many holes to fill with one draft, and yeah I wish they would have picked up a free agent OT, but they still might after cuts. I think that Gailey is a good coach and will adapt when he needs to and put the team in a position to succeed. Do I think they'll make the playoffs this year, no. But they'll put together a decent year and use this one to build off of. Now, where's my pitchfork?
  4. Even though he's always been a backup, Wilson's made some big plays in a limited role. I'll never forget the pick six he had against the Cowboys on Monday night a few years back. I think he'll be solid this year as a starter, but don't take my word for it .... Link
  5. I doubt the Bills are actually interested in him. According to the post Babin is the one who said they were. I think the Bills are being named by players and agents in order to make it appear they are being sought after by a lot of teams. He wouldn't be a good fit for our D and the Bills have more pressing needs.
  6. Very cool Nick! I don't think that the Bills have a partial season ticket plan, but you can use the Bills Ticket Exchange on their website to buy tickets to a specific game. I'm a season ticket holder and whenever I'm going to be out of town for a home game, I use that site to sell my tickets. You have to pay a bit more than a regular ticket, but you can get a better seat than if you bought a ticket at the box office. You can also use the website Stub Hub to purchase tickets, but I think they'll be more expensive than using the Bills site. Congratulations on being able to see more Bills games in person this season!
  7. Awesome story! Thanks for sharing it. He sounds like a cool guy and I hope that he makes it. Bills fans will love cheering on this guy. And Why Not Levi's right, cute kid.
  8. As a Bills fan, I don't have the interest in trying to find out. Once I know it's not the Bills, who it is doesn't really matter to me.
  9. Thanks TBone. I was happy someone with knowledge of estate and tax law weighed in. Everyone wants to see the Bills stay in Buffalo, and I still think there's a good chance that happens. But the one year sunset of estate tax in 2010 didn't have any effect on Ralph situation. His cost basis in the team is so low that any sale would have generated a significant amount of capital gains tax. Then once he passes on his family would have to pay estate tax on whatever remains of his estate. There may be ways that Ralph is considering to ensure that the team stays here, but selling a minority stake in the team at this stage of his life doesn't make financial sense.
  10. Darn, I was hoping you logged on as the Titans and lost twice on purpose! I beat the Foreskins 28-0.
  11. I'll be there sporting my new Bills ski hat that Santa brought me. Sweet.
  12. There were definitely a lot of Steelers fans in my section (333) and I could see the towels all over the place. I will say this about Steelers fans though, they were not cocky in your face types of fans. They came to see their team, they cheered (but weren't obnoxious), they were good natured and can take a joke and some ribbing. Not like the typical Jets, Dolphins or Pats* fans.
  13. Carrington used a nice swim move on that sack and it was great to see him out there. The Bills were sending him from both sides of the line and they used stunts a few times. The guy is big and agile. I hope he continues to improve over the rest of the season.
  14. Haven't missed a home game this year. That thing in Toronto doesn't count.
  15. The media doesn't help the situation because WGR and the local television stations don't know the deal either. They bring up whether the game will sell out every year too.
  16. I was thinking the same thing, but I don't think it is likely. Ralph fired Wade, and I don't know how eager Wade would be to come back and work for him.
  17. Awesome first post. You're kindess to the original poster brought tears to my eyes.

  18. It's a light rain in OP right now. The forecast from NWS says the majority of the rain will be done by 1 pm. The radar looks consistent with this right now, with some scattered sprinkles possible during the game. Back to you in the studio.
  19. So, you're saying drafting him would be a bad idea?
  20. I agree, I think he gets a sack and puts pressure on the QB a couple of times. The guy is a hard worker and unlike Maybin, he knows how to play football. I hope he has a good game and can stick in the lineup.
  21. What makes me skeptical about why he was suspended is that he hasn't said what the substance was. The NFL drug testing program does not permit the NFL to disclose the drug involved to the public, but they are required to disclose it to the player. There is nothing preventing the player from disclosing what the alleged banned substance was. If it was in fact some type of supplement, there is nothing preventing Nelson from coming out and saying what it was. He hasn't yet, which makes me think that it was not a supplement and was actually an illegal substance. Another point is that you are not suspended for your first violation of the policy, but only your second. So he used banned substances and/or illegal substances twice. If it was a supplement the first time, you would think that he would be especially careful in the future. I want to believe that he didn't use anything illegal. I'd also like to believe in Santa Claus.
