  1. I mean that’s always the case to a certain extent. If that was completely true though, Mahomes and Allen would be making Tank Dells and Nico Collins of all their receivers. I’m still waiting for Shakir to turn into Dell. Give more credit where credit is due. Prior to getting injured, Dell was a monster.
  2. Posters on here saying Houston WR are horrific is cringeworthy. Tank Dell and Nico Collins are possibly the best WR combo in the league. Top 3 for sure.
  3. That was my fault. My 4yr old is a terror tonight and it’s hard to put a coherent thought on paper. I agree with this. Look at Chiefs/Bills/Bengals last few years. And of course the rivalries will keep changing over time a bit. I see nothing wrong with that. Also, we would still play the pats/fins/jets every year.
  4. I mean Minshew is a great story but the Texans defense is not stout.
  5. Imagine if they still had Tank Dell??? You could make argument they are most dangerous team if they still had him.
  6. Man CJ Stroud is fun to watch. Another great QB in the AFC.🥴
  7. I was 5 so yeh I wasn’t complaining. This isn’t meant to complain about the Bills - it’s a topic about the NFL in general. This is 100% a “it’s week 18 and the playoffs start next week” post. How many times do I have to say this is NOT about the Bills specifically.
  8. I’m not advocating for preferential treatment. Eliminating divisions would actually do the opposite - it would automatically create equity across the entire conference bc all teams would play the same schedule for 15/17 games.
  9. 11/17 games are played against teams outside the division. So continuing to reward teams who play in crappy divisions and punishing those who play in competitive divisions seems inequitable at best. Giving so much weight to division winners when 11/17 games are played outside the division seems a bit counterintuitive.
  10. Let me clarify or edit my original post once and for all. Almost every year we see teams with a worse record, host a home playoff game, over a team with a better record only bc they won their division. At times, teams with worse records also make the playoffs over teams with better records.
  11. All fair points. My main motivation would be to reduce the amount of schedule bias, and to ensure a team won’t make the playoffs over a team who has a better record. Let alone get a home game in the playoffs over a team who had a better record. This is not meant to be a pro Bills thread. Just speaking in general terms about the NFL playoff picture
  12. I don’t think so; NFC South is worst division and winner will be 1 game over. Historically speaking, it has been an issue. Chiefs have also gotten home field advantage for Mahomes’ entire tenure (minus this year), in part, due to the AFC W being a disaster. To clarify, I meant one of the two things I said happens.
  13. I did not put a single Bills player in my FanDuel league. Like clockwork, the couple of times I go with Allen at QB he has a stinker. It’s part of the reason I never pick him anymore. Dude balls out 15 games a year - other 2 games I have him.
  14. Almost every year we see teams make the playoffs over another team with a better record, due to winning their division. Or we see teams just have a cakewalk to the playoffs/home field advantage bc they play in a trash division and have automatic 6 wins (Chiefs past few years/Pats for more than a decade). Remove the divisions. Keep AFC/NFC. Keep the same 18 week/17 game schedule every team plays every single team in their conference 1x and then do 2 games vs opposite conference every year to maintain some inter-conference rivalries alive. Removing the divisions and going with 2 conference automatically eliminates teams with worse records making it in over teams with better records, and it also eliminates schedule bias by forcing all teams to have the same schedule (minus the 2 games vs opposite conference). With 11/17 games being outside of your division, it doesn’t make sense to reward a team so much at playoff time for winning their division. Thoughts?
  15. You’re telling me there isn’t a young 22/23yr old RB that Ravens couldn’t have signed? They had to get Gordon??? Lmao. This dude fumbles more than anyone.
  16. I’m sure that’s the case however my point stands. They are not going into this game thinking “we better lose so maybe Buffalo won’t make it”. Thats not a thought process in my opinion.
  17. Yeh you’re right. I looked at it wrong with Jags. If Jags lose that bumps them completely down and frees up extra wild card spot for winner/tie of Colts Texans game.
  18. Correct me if I’m wrong but the only other game that “REALLY” matters is the Steelers - bc if the Steelers lose, no matter what anyone else does, including the Bills losing, the Bills secure a wild card spot.
  19. 2nd most wins in the NFL since 2019. We are so gassed. 🙄
  20. If we took away the 10 underhand pitches Mahomes tossed to a RB from inside the 5yd line that led to TD’s every season he wouldn’t have as many passing TD’s. Heck, we should also take away the 100 screen passes Mahomes and Chiefs run every season. COME ON PEOPLE.
  21. As long as Diggs is on this team he’ll be #1. Next year will likely be Diggs’ final year here. I see him getting traded before getting cut. We definitely need a first round talent at WR next draft. And then possibly take another shot at a WR in the 4th or 5th
