  1. LOL..a little carried away? Did you read the rest of his post?
  2. i believe he's saying that too. F him if that's the case. I'd be just as happy w/Bowers or Dareus.
  3. LMFAO!...you call 1 second of yelling towards "the jets sidelines" (which in all seriousness it's really inconclusive who he was actually yelling at from that angle) after a TD taunting?..lol.
  4. indeed...the draft is absolutely wide open..the only sure thing would've been Luck at #1, but now who knows..only the combine will help make things clearer. Fairley could EASILY be there at 3 when we pick.
  5. it's not a comparison of moss to keyshawn, but rather that AJ is a hybrid of both...the speed of Moss, with Keyshawn's ability to go over the middle i would definitely want defense at #3 (dareus/bowers/fairley...heck, maybe even Quinn)...i'm just curious as to how people would welcome the possibility (and probably a decent one at that) of the bills taking AJ at 3. he's an amazing talent without a doubt. Evans would probably be traded for a 5th rounder somewhere.
  6. lol..stopp!! you're making me blush..
  7. Would you like it though? I've seen comparison to Moss and Keyshawn thrown around re: AJ.
  8. Stay at 3, without a doubt. If our pick were in the 6-10 range, i'd be more inclined to trade down. But at 3, we're primed to get some SERIOUS talent. hold our ground!
  9. The bills select AJ Green from Georgia at #3. I really don't see it being beyond the realm of possibility: 1. Chan is an offensive guy; 2. I'm sure Chan heard plenty of AJ hoopla while he was coaching down there at GT; 3. AJ is arguably the best player in the entire draft; 4. We need offense. Discuss.
  10. dareus is an ideal 5 tech guy, but can literally play ANY position on the DL...I personally think Bowers is best suited for a 4-3 defense where his only concerns is to use his freakish size/speed to get to the QB as an edge rusher. didn't see your post. i agree completely on the 4-3 for bowers.
  11. I obviously want Fairley, but we're GUARANTEED of getting one of the big 3 DL in Bowers, Dareus, and of course, Fairley. For the longest time earlier in the year I was pretty resolute on the idea of trading down from our top 10 pick...but I've since changed my mind and feel that we're in a prime position to snage one of those three and shouldn't pass it up. For me, my liking is Fairley, Dareus, and Bowers..in that order. As much as i'm in love with Fairley, a part of me pictures Dareus the better pro at the next level. Can't wait!
  12. if we were going to go the Cam route, we should've drafted Tebow last year. I know, Cam is a better pure passer (not by much though) than tebow, but Tebow craps on him in all other accounts. Lets drop the Cam talk. We pick at 3, and it's not happening..unless he's there in the 2nd round.
  13. Acho is a beast, and i've been following him for a while now, and the reason why he won't come out before the 3rd round is b/c he's such a raw product. Depending on his combine, he'll probably go in the high to mid 3rd round.
  14. who the F cares about cam. People, unless you haven't realized, we have the #3 pick, not the 25th or 30th pick. Unless you guys plan on trading all the way down, and in doing so passing up on the likes of Fairley, Dareus, or Bowers, just to draft a QB who in all honestly does not translate well to the NFL, you're out of your F'ING MIND. Well said. Fairley appears to be a have a screw loose up there, but he'll help you win games on Sunday. That's all I care about.
  15. fairley bowers dareus quinn in that order
  16. i wouldn't waste my time on VY. let another org take that gamble...build both lines, and continue progressing.
  17. alpha and dorkington are one in the same...."fitzy is in the bottom third of the league for QB's" Look at hsi yards and td's and compare them to the bottom third (with two fewer games) and get back to me. With the likes of alpha and dorkington it'll always be soemthing....b/c Fitz has a very solid TD/INT ratio we have to rip on his comp. %...had his td's been lower, well, then guess what they'd be ripping on.. there was an approval rating of head coaches done in the nfl and Bill Bellichick was at around 90% if i recall correctly..which leads one to wonder what the 10% dislike...people like alpha and dorkington will never be happy with anything short of perfection which is never going to happen.
  18. The comparisons to Vick are not accurate at all imo, primarily for the reason you state above. Also, turnarounds like Vick's occur once in a lifetime..so I'm not going to hold my breath for VY to grow up.
  19. Of course you can finish your education whenever you want, but he's only at this specific age/time period in his life once. He's without a doubt having the time of his life at Stanford (he's practically king there), and he knows that ultimately he's going to get paid, and paid well regardless if he came out this year or next. Anything short of a career ending injury and he'll probably still go #1 next year (look at Bradford, sat out practically an entire year and look where he went). Maybe Luck just isn't mentally ready to make the next step and grow up. He has plenty of time to grow up and get paid.
  20. lmfao..i thought this post was hilarious.
  21. Fitz > VY - the hissy fits. No thanks.
  22. LOL. not when we start 8-0 next year with fitzy throwing lasers! woot woot!!
  23. if neither fairley/dareus are there or don't declare, i think i'd rather trade down and try to grab an extra second. i'm not huge on quinn.
  24. i'm just glad that this will be the final Luck thread on this board (hopefully) for a long, long time.
  25. WTF? Schobel was "missing" 3 years ago already...
