  1. ya, you're a "real fan" rooting for a college player (probably more so than the starting QB that's currently on the bills) that has no association whatsoever to buffalo only so he can not declare next year or be drafted by some other team, and you're left standing there with your thumb up your ars. you play to win, and let the chips fall where they may. nothing in life is a guarantee
  2. excellent post. how many times do we QB's underthrow a ball, and simply have the WR come back to snag it. if anything, most times, the WR has the advantage on that play b/c typically the DB isn't looking back while the WR is. that poster makes it seem as if it never happens. unreal.
  3. Brohm? LMAO. Sometimes I really believe that there must be parallel universes where people like you are watching a totally differnt game than the one I am. Fitz has thrown a TD in 10 consecutive games. Dating back to last season's game vs. INdy, Fitz has thrown for 1,800yds, 17td, 7int's in 8 games. And here you are, bringing up Brohm?
  4. amazingly well said. the sad part is that if we were ever to draft Luck, I guarantee you that these guys screaming at the top of their lungs to draft luck now will be screaming just as loudly to see what the Brohm's of the world can do after luck goes 10-20 for 120yds and 3picks in consecutive games. i guarantee it.
  5. (reaching for crayon). Marked!
  6. but then we wouldn't get the #1 pick and have the possibility of drafting possibly the #1 qb in the draft, once he possibly declares, i hear he can possibly be the next peyton manning (or possibly better), and i hear he possibly has better tools than any qb to ever play football. I know this because anything is possible after playing 1.5 seasons of college ball at Stanford.
  7. So ten years of absolute futility, having multiple 1/2 picks in the last decade and they're currently 2-7. Sheesh, even a blind squirrel can find a nut if you keep picking in the top 5.
  8. i'd be happy to get Luck if that's who our coaching staff and FO is 100% behind. Luck is without a doubt a talented QB, but I personally have several concerns, with my principal concern being his limited collegiate career.
  9. seriously, it really is a crap shoot when you look at it. Year Team Player Pick No. 2007 OAK J. Russell 1 BUST 2005 SFO Alex D. 10. inDEED. LOL. Luck has so much better touch on his throws when he has 9 seconds to throw the ball. Yes, lets compare an NFL QB going up against NFL defenses to Luck going up against Sacramento State and that stout Arizona defense. Luck could've thrown for 600yds and 6tds against the Ravens too...heck, Luck would have the bills at 8-1 right now.
  11. Or the Patriots with the 199th pick in the 2000 draft.
  12. i'd be more worried about the fact that luck has played a whopping 1.5 seasons in college against the san jose states of the world, but yet he's the next coming of joe montana on these boards.
  13. LOL. It's not that simple. How many years have the Lions been drafting 1-5 year in, year out? How has that worked out for them?
  14. How about the race to finish 8-8? Who the hell cares about the number one pick
  15. haha..my favs were the denver and detroit logos.
  16. No big deal to me. I could very well be wrong, but I don't see a redshirt sophomore who goes up against porous defenses pretty much week in week out as the bills saviour anytime soon. Especially in the division we're in.
  17. Because this is Two Jets Drive, where you're ridiculed as a "blind supporter" when rooting for arguably the best player (and a scrappy/underdog one at that) on your team this season. Fitz is on pace for having 26-28tds this season after missing two games but somehow Luck, because of all those nfl-caliber defenses he goes up against in the Pac-10, is already eons better than Fitz.
  18. Ya I'd love wade back leading our D, but there's no chance that happens. It's hard to see what we have in Edwards with this lack of talent...
  19. wade philips!!!
  20. Obviously, I wanted the big names over Fewell, but at the time when I found out we were going with Gailey, I would've preferred to stay with Fewell. At this point, I'm happy w/gailey despite our winless record. weird.
  21. Unless the coaching staff is absolutely crazy over Luck, I would try and trade down if we're at 1 and get additional picks. SO many needs...
