  1. Another Trent Dilfer sighting.
  2. Yeah, I agree. He has one of those personalities where you want to root for him b/c he seems like a big kid. He has surely made mistakes and hopefully it's all in the past.
  3. Getting Hardy will not put us over the top of anything. Having EJ play like a top 20 NFL QB will get this franchise over the top with/without Hardy, or even Byrd for that matter.
  4. Lions have primarily failed b/c Stafford is a horrible QB and grossly overpaid. I'd rather have no QB with the prospect of obtaining one than to be tied up to that mess long-term.
  5. Great article on ML NoSaint.
  6. I kinda like those warm-up jackets the players are wearing. Seattle appears to be ahead of the game with their uniforms/apparel (IMO) I fully realize some people hate the modern, Oregon-type uni's that are becoming more prominent but I love 'em
  7. I hear ya NoSaint. My argument then, as it is today, was that ML definitely didn't know what condition she was in b/c I truly believe he had no idea he even "hit" her. The police report only mentioned a bruise on the hip and her needing a couple of stitches (from what I recall reading at the time). I'm not arguing against the stupidity of his actions that night (getting behind the wheel). I'm just saying I don't believe he was aware that he hit her that night, and combining her limited injuries with the fact that he was driving an SUV, I can totally see a scenario where he nicked her and he'd never be aware. I'll leave that at that. Water under the bridge.
  8. Left to die on the street? From what I recall she didn't even have a broken bone on her body.
  9. eh. still like the guy despite all the haters.
  10. Indeed. Irony is that seattle drafted high on oline and that may be weakest side of the team.
  11. In other words, a team has to get mostly everything right.
  12. Exaaaaaactly. Every male in this country will be watching this game. Getting a pop star to do the halftime show will then attract the female 10-35 yr old crowd that could really give two $h*ts about the game. A band like metallica will prob never perform by themselves bc they would bring nothing additional to the table ratings wise.
  13. I dont think the "transition" will be that big a deal. Pettine played mulitple fronts last season and the d has pretty much every piece in place to play a "4-3". BUT we def need a MLB either through fa or draft.
  14. I think when you look at what schwarz did as a d coordinator, youd be hard pressed to say that wade is "far" better. Hes just been doing it longer, no doubt.
  15. Maybe this will solidify us taking Mosley is hes there. Makes the most sense imo. Btw, borland is awesome. My friend is a big wisconsin fan and i saw most of his games. Only thing keeping him from going in 1st will be his height
  16. Although i have a slight reservation over the fact that his lions were completely undisciplined, i acknowledge hes had success in the NFL. Hes young and hes got fire. Overall, im happy.
  17. Yawn. Best corner in football talking smack. Yawn. Bosworth was a nobody talking smack, thats the difference.
  18. ya, it was partly my fault too. I should've been clearer in my post by saying "espn's QBR"..I know that sometimes confuses people. I realized he was looking at the wrong one when he mentioned EJ's 105 rating.
  19. My bad, I put (rotoworld) as an edit. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/282453/cowboys-give-kicker-$225-million-extension
  20. Cowboys give kicker $22.5 million extension (from rotoworld) http://www.rotoworld...llion-extension LMFAO! This made my day.
  21. ESPN Bills blogger Mike Rodak thinks DBs coach Donnie Henderson could be an option to replace Mike Pettine as Buffalo's defensive coordinator. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/2268/bills-defense
  22. Russell Wilson: 33.7 Tony Romo: 62.2 Alex Smith: 61.1.... I'm gonna stop looking and assume that the qualification ESPN gave was, "minus Peyton Manning, geno smith had the highest average QBR the last 4 weeks of the season" Sorry for confusion guys. Ya, I had ESPN in the background that day and remember when I heard the piece I was like get the F out of here...no doubt Geno was horrible during stretches of the season, but you want a rookie to improve as the season progresses, and Geno certainly did do that. Running all those numbers reminded me how much Stafford actually blows. Lowest QBR, by far, during the last 4 weeks out of all those QB's.
  23. alright guys, so I can't find the sportscenter video that aired with the Geno QBR stat. If someone knows how to go through sporscenter archives feel free. so I was looking at the stats myself and obviously there must have been some qualification to the stat that ESPN gave on air, b/c Geno did NOT have the best QBR during the last 4 weeks. However, so far, other thann Peyton Manning, he had the highest QBR (not in order): Peyton Manning: 81.9 avg QBR over last 4 games Geno Smith: 73.9 Drew Brees: 65.1 Tom Brady: 55.45 Philip Rivers: 71.0 Andy Dalton: 71.2 Stafford: 21.8 Matt Ryan: 53.4 Carson Palmer: 66.9 Big Ben 53.9 Flacco: 32.8 etc. Maybe the stat said "had a higher QBR than everyone but Peyton Manning" the last 4 weeks. If anyone wants to continue going down the line of QB's feel free. Andrew Luck: 68.7
