If Whaley was given full autonomy to bring in his DC of his choosing would anyone want to keep Rex as the HC? And go into next year with Rex, new DC, and Lynn? Rex would have to be made aware he no longer has control of defense and the new DC is in charge of that unit. I dont think Rex would be down for that anyway.

Who here thought when rex was hired and TT named starting QB that we were going to have a top 10 scoring offense in buffalo for TWO consecutive years, and with two different coordinators?? Im with you. I still fail to comprehend the notion that if you remove TT from this offense we're automativally going from top 10 in pts scored to top 5 in pts scores. Bc thats what people are saying essentially. This offense isnt good enough. So plug in Joe B from the street and all of a sudden we're competing with the Saints and Falcons for the best scoring offense in the NFL. Ill just wait for the "who cares about points" crowd to chime in.

I think the only glaring miss there was EJ. Everything else you listed is hindsight. Dareus has probably hurt this team more than anyone else you listed on there (contract + underperformance) due to his own stupidity. Coming off a 10 sack season for a DT, having been drafted by the Bills, not resigning him wouldve been ridiculous. Imo

Depends on what agenda youre trying to push. But individual players aside, a unit that ranks top 10 in scoring for two years now is doing a hell of a lot more right than wrong. Some People go out of their way to discredit the offense despite the obvious and the same people go out of their way to defend the defense despite the obvious. But the majority of Bills fans jump through tables and break their legs, smash each other through tables, or set themselves on fire while other fans use beer to put out the fire. So the mental makeup of many here is already deranged as reflected by their actions and opinions.

Rex staying or going is a 50/50 proposition either way. Lacanfora picking a side isnt really something that requires many inside sources I could have zero inside sources and just say Rex is getting fired soon. And i have a 50% chance of being right. Sign me up.

I agree. I feel the weather advantage/disadvantage is overplayed for the most part. I could see it being more relevant decades ago when teams stayed together for years at a time. But with FA nowadays its impossible to field a team made for the elements. And im not even sure what that would mean exactly. Also its common nowadays for teams to no longer practice outdoors whereas decades ago that wasnt the case and that also may have contributed to having more relevance in the past. its all a bit overplayed in my opinion.
