  1. Whenever I hear people yelling to start Cardale now all I have to do is watch this video to remind myself of the intellectual disabilities affecting so many fans.
  2. When we start winning consistently its going to be so sweeet.
  3. Somewhere JPP is rolling his eyes.
  4. Im not solely blaming players. The salary cap has a lot to do with it: if the players you pay the most are producing the least, you have major major issues. Blame who you want but to say the players dont share some of the blame is silly. We can blame Dareus for a lot. 1 sack in 9 games for Hughes? Zero stats in 2 games started in the last 7 weeks? Oakland was a critical game. He failed to produce a single number on the statline. Not even an assisted tackle. But yes, Rex and co. Also are to blame as well. One doesnt negate the other.
  5. Agreed. But underperforming for almost 2 seasons now.
  6. I completely missed Fred Jackson. I would vote for him too. Thats it. Let him and Kyle fight it out.
  7. I wonder how badly his injury is affecting him. Since the SF game, Hughes has 1 sack in 7 games. In 2 of those 7 games Hughes failed to record a single stat, putting up 0's in tackles, assists or sacks in the NE and Oak games. Has he peaked? Is he that injured? Rex screwing him up too? Either way, huge concern going forward with Hughes in my opinion. You can go even further back, Hughes has 1 sack in 9 games, since Week 4. He's supposed to be our best pass rusher.
  8. #1 highest cap hit: the great Dareus #4 highest cap hit: Hughes. Reasons why we're sucking on defense. Plus Rex leading the charge of course.
  9. Lets not forget about Matt Ryan throwing for 250-350 on a weekly basis and his team doing diddly squat the majority of his career. Sure looks good though.
  10. I get what you're saying, but just playing devil's advocate here: we're technically not eliminated from the playoffs. We didn't go 0-7 and then started winning games. Being 6-7 in December means we are competitive in the competitive portion of the season (whatever that really means). Also, objectively looking back on our season so far: 1. We have three upset wins where we weren't favored to win by Vegas: Cards, New England, Cincy. Before anyone goes into the nonsense about the Cards not being good, or NE and their 3rd string QB, I'll gladly bring up each prediction thread on this forum leading up to those games where barely anyone picked us to win, in order to avoid the benefit of hindsight. 2. We have had 2 losses where we were favored to win: Jets and Miami. We could've and should've won both those games and didn't. We may very well miss the playoffs b/c of those two losses. 3. The remainder of our games we either beat the opponent we were expected to beat, or lost vs opponents we were expected to lose against. In my opinion the season so far has been a bit of a disappointment for the following reasons: 1. The way we lost to Oakland was a major kick in the nuts. It's hard to emotionally recover from losses like that..especially with the playoffs in play. 2. The defense continues to be somewhat of a dumpster fire. When the HC makes his living on being a defensive guru, and yet the defense still isn't functioning properly in year 2, we have a major issue that needs to be directly addressed. If not for his defensive coaching abilities, why else is Rex here then, is my question. That being said, if we're to be 100% objective, the season for the most part has gone as expected and predicted. So why the mass hysteria by the Bills media and fans? There are serious questions that need to be asked about our defense and potential QB going forward. Right now I would lean towards keeping Rex as the HC. We keep hearing how players love to play for him. He can continue to be the HC and the face of the Bills. But I'd only be willing to keep him as HC if Whaley is allowed to bring in the DC of his choosing. If Rex is unwilling to accept that, then the Bills should fire Rex. And they would be justified in doing so in my opinion.
  11. This argument isnt strong in my opinion. Last year the Redskins made the playoffs without beating a team with a winning record. Before the season if someone told you the bills would go 9-7. You may not have been doing cartwheels in the street but you probably wouldve been "ok". Im guessing easily more than half of the bills fanbase expected about 9-7.
  12. Fair point indeed. But i wasnt comparing Titans to Bills. Just saying i wasnt overly impressed. But arrow appears to be pointing up.
  13. Itll happen man. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
  14. Their arrow is really pointing up but man having 6 games within that crap division helps those numbers. Most importantly Mariota appears to have turned a corner.
  15. I like Rex. I dont want him fired. But to say they gave him a substandard QB is not fair. TT is starting because of Rex. He brought TT on himself. And as for substandard play, yes TT has been worse this season than last, but his numbers last season were equivalent to RG3's when RG3 won rookie of the year. If Rex is to remain here he needs to let Whaley hire his own Dcoordinator. If not, Rex needs to go. I dont want him to go. But he would have to go if hes unwilling to objectively look at himself in the mirror and admit HIS defense isnt shaking $h*t.
  16. Theyll probably finish 8-8 this season. im not impressed. Worst division in NFL too.
  17. Coughlin had a single winning season (9-7) in his last 4yrs in NY and his last two years he went 6-10. With a borderline HOF QB on the team The game passes everyone by. Even coaches. Me addressing his age is not a subjective criticism, its reality. Coughlin wouldve been the move to make a decade ago. Not now.
  18. This dog and pony show is getting old.
  19. Why would anyone want Coughlin at this point. He's 70 years old.
