His article loses any credibility when it fails to account for the entire purpose of bringing Rex to Buffalo: to continue to build on the really good defense we had in 2014. The article shifts blame from Rex to the QB, failing to take into consideration that the QB is part of an offense that ranks 7th in points scored and top 5 - top 10 in many offensive categories, while the defense is literally a steaming pile of $h*t.

Offense carried the defense. Not the other way around. Unfortunately Rex is in a position where Defense is supposed to be his specialty. So he cant keep blaming the DC. Its his system. And they got even worse in year 2. So if you cant blame the DC, then Rex has to go. Being objective here.

I'd say it's hard to say...I mean I can like someone after the fact but that doesn't mean they would've been my 1st choice. If Whaley didn't have final say on Rex, what does he have to gain by going out and publicly criticizing the hire? Nothing.

If you're going to keep Whaley, you might as well let him run the damn show. I agree with this. We'll see what he does. If Whaley can manage to improve the defense while not blowing up the offense, I'll be impressed.

If Lynn becomes HC, how about promoting Kromer to OC? In my opinion, Kromer has been spectacular. Of course, I'm not sure how he would handle playcalling and maybe it's not even a possibility. Not everyone is cut out for it. Same here man. I'd be ecstatic.

Carroll stunk it up in the NFL his first go around as a HC; BB wasn't great either. Schwartz did in fact resurrect a crap franchise and made them somewhat relevant again. He wasn't a complete disaster. His link and relationship with the players on the defensive side of the Bills is key in my opinion. Again though, I don't see it happening. One can dream.

It isn't a great thing to say, but I can't get over his age. He'll be coaching the Bills at 71. He came off three really really bad years in NY where his teams gave up on him. All that with a borderline HOF QB. The game passes everyone by in my opinion, including coaches.
