You've got to know any conviction based on this flimsy interpretation and application of an SEC reporting law morphed into an election law violation is going to get overruled on an appeal. The court will rule the law as applied to the circumstances is inappropriate. The prosecutors know this too but the conviction is not the goal. And they're the real culprits here interfering with the 2020 election. By maliciously and intentionally keeping a candidate in court and off the campaign trail in order to support a failing and ineffective President in winning a second term.

Like the liberals tell these girls/women competing in sports. Its a man's world and fighting the patriarchy is futile. All this irrational identity stuff makes me wonder why a dude wants to pretend to be a lady? Your short a couple cards from a full desk. I get you can physically dominate women athletes and feel like you're the top dog at something. But have you seen the restroom lines at concerts and sporting events for the ladies room? Who would want to stand in line for 30 minutes just to pretend your a big, hairy, ugly women? Its not like you're fooling anybody but yourself.

There are many ways to win. And lose. The 49er for example, had 4 Pro Bowl/All Pro level offensive weapons and a competent QB last year and yet still lost a close Super Bowl to a Chiefs team that just played a little bit better at the end of the game when it counted. So the Bills getting WR1 in the draft might improve the offense but is adding that player to the roster going to make the difference or is there another reason they can't get past the divisional round the last 2 years?

It was a time when sports was sports and not so much glitz and glamor entertainment. Guys just showed up and played. No celebrations about a 1st quarter interception. No music blaring and fireworks. No 60,000 people in the stands staring at their cell phones checking their fantasy league stats. Now the SB halftime show and commercials seem just as big a deal as the game itself.

Trump Keeps Falling Asleep In Court
All_Pro_Bills replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
One major distinction is that all of Biden's public appearances are scripted, controlled, directed, and rehearsed because his handlers fear his neurological condition which inhibits him from acting and participating in an ad hoc situation will give away the show to even the biggest deniers of his problem. There's no energy, no sense of realism. All the other players in the scene are following a provided script. In a few words, its all fake. Trump like it or not is pretty much what you see is what you get. The other players are actual people, not props or actors. You might not like it but it's real. -

Trump Keeps Falling Asleep In Court

I understand the key violation is Sarbanes-Oxley which was written and intended to address financial reporting deficiencies in government/SEC required disclosures resulting from Enron. Which is Federal law. Shouldn't enforcement and interpretation be left to Federal courts? Not tried in some State county court? Given the Feds apparently have no issue, what business does NYS have with this? Or jutlrisduction? My other observation is Trump must have the absolute worst and most expensive legal representation possible. Firstly, these charges are based on the loosest and most pliable legal interpretations. You'd think a high priced legal team could blow holes in these flimsy arguments. And file muliple motions for disissal. To censure the judge, the prosecutor, and correctly argue an impartial jury cannot be found in the jurisdiction. Something everyone knows is true. But nothing. Second, no rich person ever gets railroaded on such folly. This is truly unique. -

He's probably dreaming about how a legal system allows a county court that handles mostly speeding tickets and local misdemeanor offenses is allowed to have jurisdiction over alleged vague violations of Federal law? -

How much did you pay for gas and groceries today?

The best economy ever is a farce that needs to spend a trillion in borrowed every quarter of life support money to keep the system running. Its like my big-shot brother-in-law that always has the latest and greatest of everything and new cars in the driveway every year without a cent in the bank or any investmemts. The king of the consumption lifestyle without a pot to piss in. Like the robust US economy. A big illusion -

Global warming err Climate change HOAX

The Moon is moving away from the Earth at a rate of about 1 inch per year. That change in gravitational pull will result in the Earth's rotation slowing and change the magnitude of tidal movements. In 1 million years it will be almost 15.8 miles further away. Should we be worried? -
The guy was a credible informant for years but the second he has the good on Biden he's suddenly providing false information. More likely he was arrested for providing true information and he had to be taken off the board before he was requested to appear at any hearings or inquires. Conveniently, his trial date is set after the November election. Prediction: whoever wins the election, they reach some sort of plea bargain agreement where he agrees to keep quiet in exchange for probation in consideration of his prior "service". That how Garland's DOJ works.

I think the Trump vs. Biden choice comes down to the cleaest Pig in the mud hole theory. Neither have high approval numbers. Many people, including myself, find neither choice appealing when it comes to addressing the nation's troubles. Both have high disapproval ratings. The choice might come down to tolerating one and disliking the other.
