"Standing up to America's adversaries". That's funny. Our adversaries have pulled Joe's jacket over his head and spun him around until he's too dizzy to stand up himself. Under Joe we're a fading Empire losing its relevancy. "Standing up for the rule of law". That's funny too. By weaponizing the legal system for the political purposes of hindering and banning the leading opposition candidate for President. Now that's "standing up for democracy"! Worst President, EVER!

Is this better? "The FBI's Miami Field Office released new information on an Iranian intelligence officer by the name of Majid Dastjani Farahani, who is wanted for "questioning in connection with the recruitment of individuals for various operations in the United States, to include lethal targeting of current and former United States Government officials."

Its not just dumb kids doing dumb things. By a 13-2 vote, the 6 win, 21 loss, Dartmouth men's college basketball team voted to join Local 560 of the Service Employees International Union. The school responded to the situation with a statement, "The students on the men’s basketball team are not in any way employed by Dartmouth. For Ivy League students who are varsity athletes, academics are of primary importance, and athletic pursuit is part of the educational experience. Classifying these students as employees simply because they play basketball is as unprecedented as it is inaccurate." The Ivy League doesn't give athletic scholarships, but does give need-based ones. The total annual cost of attendance at Dartmouth for the current academic year is $87,315. Good grief! Whether your views are left, center, or right, its got to be hard to believe anything other than our system is broken.

Democrats in full on panic
All_Pro_Bills replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
But not in total panic yet with many tricks to play. https://nypost.com/2024/03/05/opinion/bidens-2024-advantage-an-alliance-of-elites-rigging-the-game/ -
What's been shrinking most under Biden is the purchasing power of the US dollar. Each unit of currency is worth about 17% less during his presidency. Look no further than dysfunctional domestic and foreign policy and programs along with huge spending initiatives of limited value as the biggest source of the problem. Who's he blaming for that?

Russia Was Not a Democratic Hoax

So you're saying both Trump and Putin worked independent of each other, had no formal arrangement, but shared the same goal which was to get Trump elected. And worked in separate and independent "swim lanes" to make it happen? You should run this theory by people like Adam Schiff and Hillary Clinton who to this day are still peddling the belief that Trump colluded with the Russians and by default Putin himself to steal the election. In their minds the Mueller report "proved" they colluded but there wasn't evidence beyond a doubt required to bring charges. This is still the prevailing Democrat narrative 7 year later. What's missing from the explanation is the prequel, how it all began. Skipping to the critical point in time, agents at the FBI filed an application for a FISA warrant under false pretense and committed a Federal crime in the process in order to eavesdrop on Cater Page. A person that was suggested to the FBI was working with Russians to dig up dirt on the opposition. They knew he was a CIA asset while leaving that detail out of the warrant application (because that detail likely would result with the judge denying the application). One thing Page was doing was de-briefing his CIA contacts on Russian activities. That was left out of the warrant too. As a result of acquiring the warrant, they could spy on Page and anyone he spoke to in the Trump campaign. You might want to ask 1) why did the FBI knowingly file a FISA warrant application under false pretense?, 2) following up the chain of command where did this order originate? What Mueller's team didn't investigate or report is more telling than what it did. You see the real collusion wasn't between Trump and Putin. It was between the DNC (Clinton campaign) and the FBI. They totally ignored this connection for reasons that are painfully obvious. -
Don't forget the Inflation Reduction Act which targeted lots of useless and unproductive activities and wish lists of political causes. The name itself is a clear example of how politicians love to inversely name their legislation to obscure the truth. More to the point, the correct name should have been the Inflation Acceleration Act.

I'll go out on the limb and predict within a couple months she'll land a hi-paying gig at some war mongering "think tank". Like the Atlantic Council.

Our elected officials in Washington have been playing a game of make-believe for decades. This is a game leaders and members of both major parties have been and are still playing. Look at these comical debt ceiling and stop-gap funding bills. Its one big tragic comedy in real-time. They believe in the idea the US government can pile up massive debts year after year adding trillions to the national debt with no nominal limit to how much debt the government can accumulate. All without incurring any negative consequences. Well, at least no negative consequences the average American can understand unless they're willing to do a little more thinking than usual. In other words, borrowing to infinity, and the repudiation of every rule of finance and common sense. This is a delusion leading us to ruin as a nation and as a society. I've seen numbers that put quarterly US borrowing at $1 trillion per quarter. Reality is that its impossible for this to continue from a point of practicality and simple math. Disaster lies just ahead. At the end of it everyone's standard of living is going to suffer a downgrade and nothing is going to stop it.

While I have little affection for either Biden or Trump the difference is its clear Biden is mentally compromised and the policies of his administration are not his own. I saw the situation perfectly described recently as "a situation where the commander-in-chief does not have the capacity to properly digest and analyze their (advisors, staff) guidance, but just act upon them". Like it or not, with Trump you can be assured he's got his fingerprints, good or bad, all over policy. At least you'd be voting for the person that's actually running the country. With Biden we don't know who it is running the government. That said, I don't plan on voting for either. -
Biden said "you were asking me for amnesty?". "I thought you were asking me if I had amnesia"

Israel and Iran

But VP Harris says "fight on" in Georgia. After opening for only one day, a Six Flags amusement park near Atlanta, Georgia was overrun by a mob of up to 600 rioters who proceeded to fight each other and destroy property. The incident led to a shootout involving the Cobb County Police Department and resulted in the hospitalization of an alleged assailant. -

Well done. But the world doesn't run strictly on some rules based order. Under the current set of arrangements and alliances, no US administration is ever going to allow Israel to face any formal charges of genocide or other actions consistent with "war crimes". No matter their intent or how many civilians they end up killing. Like it or not Washington wields both formal and informal "veto power" and decides who will be held accountable and who will be allowed to "break" the rules. -
The UK government is the worst. Led by head scum bag PM Rishi Sunak. The only people more vile are the idiot police and security forces that do their bidding.
