The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
All_Pro_Bills replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I advise calling your health plan to verify coverage prior to attempting any such maneuver! -
All said while ignoring the current administration violations of the Constitution through ignoring Supreme Court decisions and lawless immigration policy while simultaneously spreading the virus across the country. Get you're head out of Trump's ass and take a good look around!

Working from home (WFH) censoring and deactivating the accounts of posters disagreeing with the views of management and tuning search engine algorithms to prioritize politically and socially correct "information" and block those articles and opinions deemed "mis-information" while coordinating company efforts with agencies like the NSA and the CIA seems like a great part-time job for a retired person or a stay at home parent.

Critical Race Theory
All_Pro_Bills replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Well if they have time to teach CRT I would expect these school districts and their teachers have successfully produced a high level of proficiency in their students for core curriculum courses. And a basic test would measure and demonstrate that. And if the pass rate is 90% or above then they can allocate school time for CRT. And if its below 90% they are all fired. I think that's fair. Otherwise, all they're doing is sucking money out of the taxpayers to fund their paychecks while graduating a population of students that don't have basic skills while focusing on useless horse crap. -
I took a cursory read of this lawsuit and its incomprehensible that any court that isn't predisposed to a particular political view would entertain it. Frivolous is the word I think. What I find most comical is how oblivious they were of any real or potential consequences that might result from their completely voluntary decision to flee the state. Or perhaps for some reason they believed they were exempt from consequences? Or some entitlement of liberal privilege? Failure to comprehend or acknowledge consequences is a common theme for the liberal mind and agenda. Whether its ideas like letting biological men use the women's restroom (what could possibly go wrong there?), letting COVID-19 infected individuals into the country while pretending its not happening (while un-vaccinated citizens are subject to discrimination), or eliminating standard testing protocols in high schools because minority kinds can't pass the tests (because the scores expose the incompetence of the teachers and the educational system). Or getting rid of cops and not foreseeing an increase in crime. Simply idiots. And its all based on their belief in their intellectual, moral, and ethical superiority. Ask them. Ask them to deny this belief. I've asked many liberal people I know. You'll be met with silence. Its a false premise that is at the core of their entire ideology.

Combating imaginary racism with actual racism??
All_Pro_Bills replied to Unforgiven's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I'm so glad educators are preparing students for life as a generation of multi-cultural diverse losers as they will be unprepared for the challenges and competition presented in the global market place against student from other countries that are proficient at every major subject. So what's the point of sending your kids to Oregon public schools other than have them participate in social indoctrination activities? The only people dumber than the elected officials are the people electing them. This is kind of the plot to Idiocracy. -
It's Time to Mandate Vaccines

Fauci just suggesting mandatory vaccinations for public school teachers. I'm interested to see where this goes per the mandate crowd and actions for mandates to this point. -
It's Time to Mandate Vaccines
All_Pro_Bills replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Its all subjective. Too many? For one person too many is 10, for another too many is 100. The fundamental question is if I focus all my policies and resources on saving the life of every person and every child but in the process I would need to destroy the entire US economy and every institution and business in the process it would be the appropriate action? Or maybe the fatality risk needs to be balanced with other social and economic risks, consequences, goals, and benefits to define a systemic policy response that makes logical sense and can be communicated to everyone in a way they can understand and support? And in this process the CDC is one voice not the owner and definer of Federal policy. -

But the hospitals and doctors still report the main ICD10 diagnosis code as Z20822, "exposure to or suspected exposure to COVID" because of the higher insurance reimbursement rates. Like Steve Martin in the Jerk said "its the profit game!" -

I think the answer is: 1. renounce your US citizenship 2. apply for citizenship in some Central America country for something like $50 3. take a flight to Cabo 4. enjoy a couple weeks of vacation time 5. head for the US border and declare yourself an asylum seeker 6. get picked up by customs and transferred to DHS 6. get released by DHS 7. go back home, enjoy life, pick up some free benefits, and then do whatever you want without any restrictions mandated and demanded of US citizens 8. you can still vote, work, drive, own property, get medical care and education for free as the administration has eliminated all benefits and rights of being a US citizen

You make a lot of great points. And I agree with most of it. But I think from the beginning defeat in Afghanistan was inevitable. Its not called "the graveyard of empires" for nothing. Its essentially a tribal society without any real concept of a powerful central government. Defining one and setting it up based on some model of democracy was bound to fail. And most of the "hostiles" just went over the border to Pakistan just waiting it out moving in and out of the country when required. Once the primary mission was completed the decision should have been made to split. But the DOD and the Pentagon never let a good opportunity to expand the defense budget go to waste. So 20 years later an epic fail and in steps China and Russia. Who could have seen that coming? I have concluded US Middle East policy is based on the maintenance of "chaos", support for the State of Israel, and the continuation of the PetroDollar system of trade settlement in the oil markets. In fact, I'd suggest that maintaining the global reverse and trade settlement status of the US Dollar is the fundamental objective of US foreign policy. Its the system that creates foreign demand for US treasury paper and dollars. Its the privilege to "print money" that no other country has. Its the privilege that allows the US Congress and Presidents to pass multi-trillion dollar deficit spending bills without having to worry about where all that money comes from. The reserve/trade settlement system is something Iran, Iraq, Libya and just about every other country that gets attacked or sanctioned has or is trying to remove themselves from participation. It something the Saudi's still support. That support is enhanced by US "protection" of the monarchy and the monarchies decisions to spend some $50B on defense spending. A little less than what Russia spends. This arrangement is just a traditional protection racket. The US government protecting Saudi interests by refusing to declassify incriminating 9/11 information is one example of an element of this arrangement. A government protecting a foreign government and its citizens that have committing terrorist and criminal acts against its own citizens. What democratic government would do that? So US foreign policy is simply "follow the rules we set or else". If you don't then political, economic, and if necessary either direct or indirect force through either the military or intelligence agencies will be applied to your nation and government and the most likely outcome will be the people currently in charge will be out of a job soon. So while I agree with the Imperialism view who is calling the shots in the US? Its not the political parties or the administration in power. If you look at the political views of the Trump administration vs. the Biden administration you'd expect to see some tangible difference in their foreign policy approach. But you don't. In fact you see Biden's budget proposals actually looking to increase defense spending above what Trump budgeted. This appears in conflict with the "progressive" nature of the administration. As they have no problem blowing up people of color on the international front and yet present themselves as the champion of minority rights domestically. People are people no matter which side of the line on the map they stand on. But policy never changes from one administration to another no matter the spot on the political spectrum those administrations represented. And truth be told, Trump wasn't impeached and harassed for 4 years because of some ethical, moral, or legal violations of law and the constitution. He was harassed because he threatened the power of this establishment and pushed for policy change they saw as a threat to their agenda and power. So there's an underlying force controlling the government and policy. Some call it the establishment or the deep state. Who's behind it all? Some say the 1% or the .1%, the Davos crowd, Soros's NWO. Me, I can't say I am sure. I'm interested in getting some perspectives on this. What also seems strange is the current left supports this Imperialist model by bringing it home and imposing it on the domestic population. There doesn't seem to be any issues or moral and ethical questions about imposing restrictions and punishment for non-compliance on US citizens through unilateral and undemocratic edicts and proclamations through the executive branch via executive orders or agency pronouncements. So how can that be reconciled with their expressed woke and social justice views as "domestic imperialism" seems just fine to them.

Umm.. what, what? The vaccine doesn't protect you from getting infected but instead lessens the risk of a serious illness. And it allows it to replicate in your respiratory system so if you're vaccinated you can develop a large viral load and pose just as big a risk of spreading the virus as an un-vaccinated person.

Just look at the people doing the reporting and that answers the question about why its critical to the story in some cases and not in others. These reporters, politicians, tweeters and others that make conditional statements that include or exclude race when its convenient for them to do so just have no moral and ethical standards.

The American Media Should Not Be Trusted
All_Pro_Bills replied to SCBills's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The unspoken truth is they are well-compensated sell out's that surrender all moral and ethical principles and standards for cash and other compensation. They have no original thoughts and such things as independent thought and logic are discouraged in their social circles. All that needs to be done is look who signs their check and there it is. Their views packaged and provided by a member of the %1 elite club in charge. -
I'd say public confidence and faith in the Doctor and the government is shot at this point as most have concluded their approach is based on a trial-and-error strategy rather than a strategy based on sound reasoning backed by medical facts. I've made my peace with the idea that whatever they do it isn't going to change the outcome. Whether you're vaccinated or not, healthy or not, hiding in the house or not, old or young, you are either going to get an asymptomatic, mild, moderate, severe, or critical case of COVID and we'll live or die depending on our own unique health and age and anything the government or the science says or does isn't going to change that from happening.

I suggest we worry more about Biden administration sponsored acts of terrorism that violate and ignore immigration law (impeachment anyone?) while intentionally spreading the virus across the country by releasing COVID infected non-citizens (criminal charges anyone?) free to move about unimpeded while legal citizens are locked down and subject to all kinds of restrictions and discrimination as Obama and his elitist's party like there's no tomorrow in a display of obvious nauseating contempt and elitism. Which symbolizes for all to see everything about the true nature of the political left. Phony posers sucking cash and blood out of the middle and working class. The real virus that needs to be eradicated is the elitist fascist population disguised as "fake" liberal progressives. This guy Jeff Clark. Who cares? He can't spread the virus to any of us, can he?

I thought the solution pushed by the political activists crowd demanding police de-funding was that community organizers and conflict de-escalation experts would be deployed in Urban areas like Chicago. They could better handle these confrontations in the streets with their methods and the trust gang members and other potential violent actors would have because their presence would remove the element of racism from community policing. And in the end they'd demonstrate police weren't needed to stop this violence and there is a better way to handle crime. So how's that working so far? No so good it seems. For one thing, community organizers and conflict de-escalation experts look to be smart enough to know if they show up their they'd get their asses shot off. And the gangs don't care much for anyone but their members, black, white, Hispanic, or any race at all. So what Chicago has now is a completely demoralized police force, no activist actions, gangs ruling the streets and sections of the city, a totally incompetent Mayor, and lots of shootings. And another example of successful leftist activism at its best! Other than a resounding victory for transsexual bathroom rights is there anything these clowns touched that hasn't gotten worse?

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
All_Pro_Bills replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Those big speaking fees and book deals are just payback for favors done while in office. But what I really can't wrap my head around is the concept that there are that many people interested in reading or hearing a self-serving version of events written or told by these former elected and unelected officials irrespective of their political affiliations. -
It's Time to Mandate Vaccines
All_Pro_Bills replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I saw a recent interview of CDC director Walensky with CNN's Wolf Blitzer. She said with Delta a vaccinated asymptomatic person can carry the same viral load as an unvaccinated asymptomatic person. This means the vaccinated and unvaccinated person presents the same exact level of risk to others. So if the only difference is the risk assumed by the individual that is unvaccinated vs. the vaccinated person but the risk both pose to others is equal then what's the point of vaccine passports and discriminatory polices? As the vaccine protects the vaccinated person but presents no protection to anyone else in the presence of the vaccinated individual. As its possible for all the vaccinated people to pass the infection to others, all the assumptions behind these polices are false. Which means is as long as your vaccinated that's all you need to worry about. Per the CDC. -
For a political party that has recently made a habit of ignoring the law when its convenient while also doing an about face and insisting others be held accountable for their "crimes" when it serves their needs, this is slightly more than comical as they attempt to litigate this absurdity.

The first time I see you giving a straight answer to somebody's question here or when the government proves something with a jury rendering a guilty verdict on a charge like insurrection or treason in a Federal or DC court I'll let you know. Whichever comes first. But I'm not holding my breath waiting for either of those things to happen.
