Still cant think of one reason Webb shouldnt be playing QB in a game where passing isnt going to factor in the game.

I agree with you. turnover on this team in the next 2 years will continue. What I like about McBeane is its the anti-Whaley and judging by my signature i never thought much of him. Whaley traded future picks for a team that was not close.....Whaley had us close to the cap with a mediocre team....cmon now be honest. So this new regime, they are doing things different. Im all for that. You have to give him his first draft and full off season. I do honestly believe these guys are much better at the GM and personel than Donohoe....Marv....Brandon....Buddy and Whaley. I honestly think if you gave Joe Webb Tyrods snaps....the numbers maybe better with Webb. I grant you TT would throw less ints.....but the passing and running yards could possibly be better with Webb. Sounds crazy but really think about it. Around 200 yards avg passing with one TD and 30 rushing.---with say 5 tds. I could see Joe Webb doing that for 15 million less.

During the drought....we had a year or 2 with Bledsoe where we were a better than mediocre to poor passing offense. The other years were JP, Captain Checkdown, FItz with Stevie and the no name wrs, erratic EJ, and TT. If there's one thing to change and improve, its a functioning passing offense.

Maybe when TT QBs a team deep into the playoffs can you compare him to JK. Yes football fans can picture TT leading a team to hoist the Lombardi trophy. Quick there after, their mom wakes them up in the basement.

With TT the choice is easy. We're going with him in 18, but in the draft we have to get the QB of the future. With TT at 30, Im not committed to locking him up long term on some 100 million dollar contract and committing the team to 3-5 more years of him. The D really played well Sunday, .
