  1. Comparing civilian life to the military is absurd ontill we start throwing people in jail for breaking curfew, being out of uniform, and failing to salute a officer.
  2. My God this is like arguing over the song the band played when the titanic went down.
  3. Wow. This and the ancient Women You Find Attractive Part Deux dragged up. What is causing all this horniness?
  4. Christ thats true. Guilt by association. Soon I'll be on the Tom/Booster/Buftex watch list. Can I still fly?
  5. I think what Newt meant was that Rommey wanted to be a career politician, but failed in his attempt. God I'm responding to a DIN thread
  6. Well if I had you, buftex and booster monitoring this site 24/7 to analyze the real meaning of my posts I would get a bit defensive myself.
  7. We've had to adjust to the discovery of iron, and the collapse of the copper tool market...
  8. Global warming may be real, it's the cause that is unknown and attracts all the snake oil salesmen.
  9. Way worse is when you realize you're friends hot sister looks like him. Man I'd love to do her but it would be like banging Joe
  10. Then a 3 year old running around the yard in dirty diapers and a spaghetti sauce stained t shirt, playing with a one eyed beagle with mange and large warts. We need to nipe it in bud.
  11. I haven't seen one since I was a teenager. Only thing bad about full service is I was always broke and had to use the line"see if she'll take 75 cents worth. Need to top it off" to save face.
  12. True in any state, Federal law. Hell the hard core anti's don't need incident's like this to push their agenda. Just sell a few hundred guns to Mexican drug cartels. Blame it on "loopholes".
  13. Reminds me I heard Obama on the radio today explaining his falling poll numbers-"There are individuals frustrated with their own personal circumstances and I understand that. They must be patient and remember it takes a long time to fix 20 years of bad policy. It may take 2 terms" 20 years? Looks like he's ratcheting it up. No longer content to blame just Bush jr,seems Clinton and Bush sr are also at fault. The blame may stretch to Eisenhower by summer.
  14. I wonder what happened to the rubber hose that goes "bing-bing" when you drive over it?
  15. Uh thats a backward step. In the old days the man who wears the star held the pump. All you had to do was accept your free glassware.
  16. Some how I picture the Bills more in the convulsing player role.
  17. Breaking code is part of the game. We did, and won. They should have had a better code or been smart enough not to take the bait the code breakers where feeding them to get them to disclose were they where planning to attack[higher ups all thought it was Alaska.]
  18. ? You didn't think Midway was well done?
  19. I have been getting up and going to work for 40 years. Own several apartments. Like Chefs wife I have a pre-paid phone and just buy minutes I need. TV? Yeah I own one[15 years old] but got rid of cable long ago. TV is now a plant holder. Buy only food on sale or in bulk. Not poor or a tightwad but understand how hard money can be to come by. But I earn mine, so maybe that's wrong. Paid for, just a different way. No text? Oh the humanity!
  20. Shooting into a sloped brem is asking for a ricochet.
  21. Not at all,it would be a brilliant move if they have any confidence in Luck. It's obvious the Colts have many problems in all areas and need to revamp the whole team. Trade the still useful Manning for a boatload of established players and draft picks[remember Herschel Walker?] Build a solid team around Luck. Some risk, but whats the alternative? Best case, play Manning and MAYBE go 8-8. Worst case Manning gets hurt early on and drops to zero trade value. Now you have Luck and no players.
  22. Because they have Luck. We don't.
  23. You would not believe how accurate you are with the last part. Definitely THE state sport.
  24. Apperently all those people you see trying to protect their cinder block houses from cannon fire wirh water filled barrels are wrong.
