  1. Clowney has a good relationship with Gaine...Gaine was the GM that was ready to back up the truck for him in Houston.
  2. I don’t see Addison as a 2nd tier FA—he actually has more sacks than Ngakoue over the last 4 years. I also think they’ll go for 2 big time signings/acquisitions (EDGE and WR1). It'll be interesting for sure
  3. I’ve been consistent that I think Addison is in play for Buffalo. Very productive, scheme fit, familiarity with the coach, etc.
  4. What? No. The Cardinals got Kenyan Drake for a 6th The 49ers got Emmanuel Sanders and a 6th for a 3 and a 4 The Ravens got Marcus Peters for a backup LB and a 6th The Seahawks got Jadeveon Clowney for 2 backup LBs The Texans got Carlos Hyde for a backup guard The above are just the examples of starters traded for day 3 picks in the 2019 season.
  5. OS for Breida and Feiler; let’s rob the cap-strapped blind!
  6. Good. That means Emmanuel Sanders hits the market.
  7. Nine picks is not limited when you only start with 7. I’m open to hearing why they’re more valuable than I’ve said (despite the fact that statistically it’s very unlikely for any team to hit on more than 40% of their picks in a given year). You have a much better chance to use, say, a 4th round pick effectively if you trade it for a known commodity. And no, you don’t have to consider anything other than 1 pick = 1 player whether you trade it or use it to draft a guy.
  8. Extremely limited? Buffalo has 9 picks! And in any given draft, you’re hoping that 40% of your picks end up as bona fide NFL players, so what’s the big deal in trading one of those picks? And the salary is almost always less than what paying the player would be on the open market, and that’s without considering that the majority of guaranteed money has already been paid by the team trading the player away. yes.
  9. Can we talk about him even if it’s not? ?
  10. Like I said, this team is moving up for a QB. Book it.
  11. Trades are like buying a certified pre owned vehicle fresh off a lease from a no-haggle dealership. Someone else has taken the depreciation from the massive initial investment, and you get the highest value years for only a modest price.
  12. I’m starting to warm up to this Feiler offer sheet idea. Pittsburgh is ripe for the taking when it comes to RFAs Do. It.
  13. They only save $3M if they trade Turner...I’m...confused... Or this year. I’m in either way. He’s an asshat, but he’s the kind of player we need.
  14. Pittsburgh is going to have to make some tough cuts to make that happen. I suggest the Bills be opportunistic and offer sheet Matt Feiler, their RT. Bills’ fans will know him as the big dude that managed to angle down Tre White and prevent a pick-6 on SNF. Steeler fans will tell you that he’s quietly their best OLman. I’m in. Let’s roll.
  15. Not sure...Ngakoue isn’t quite the pass rusher that Clark is. Maybe he’ll fetch a 1st, but this pass rusher market is solid. I love Poyer, but he’s not in Hyde’s class in coverage. Poyer allowed a total passer rating of 117.8 in coverage in 2019–by far the worst on the team. Hyde’s was 78.4.
  16. I would probably do it, but I think it takes less. Call it two 5’s.
  17. Interesting...and if true, it makes him a very intriguing buy-low guy. Thanks Hap.
  18. Sorry, but I have a hard time feeling sorry for a player that can stroke a pen and be guaranteed $18M. Yes, he should have a chance to hit the open market if his team doesn’t want to give him a long-term deal, but he has his path for recourse if he chooses to use it.
  19. I think they probably figured this was coming. I’m sure they’ve learned that Mike Brown won’t let a good player leave even if it’s best for him. So I am pretty confident that they know their plan for the WR position.
  20. Jabari Greer was better than all of them
  21. Lee Smith is actually really good at what he’s asked to do
  22. Mike Brown is the reason that AJ Green isn’t a Bill.
  23. I’m not excited for the team that gives Conklin $15M
