Super Bowl winning GMs like John Elway, Ozzie Newsome, Ted Thompson, Mickey Loomis, Jerry Reese, and Kevin Colbert think you're wrong, just so you know.
There's one of these threads every year, so for reference, here's a bunch of answers from the days of yore:

No question that the Corleone family wins...they were far more organized and had a more unified vision.
Cicero family had too many loose cannons near the top with Henry/Jimmy/Tommy.
He was my WR9 in this draft--I love this kid.
Blokes ain't the only one!

And Leroi is saying the same thing...you clearly believe that both people are lying, and I have no intention of arguing with something that can't be proven.
We can either take the word of the guy whose info has been spot-on all offseason, or we can ignore it.
It is patently incorrect to say that a guy that's been on the field and participating in 77% of the games that have taken place since he entered the league cannot stay on the field.
As to Sammy's exact injury, Julio Jones, Dez Bryant, and Julian Edelman have all had it and returned to 100%.
He's in the Box o' Shout right now:
@ Leroi : (11 May 2017 - 03:25 PM)Whaley ran the draft; he worked the trades, made the selections. Of course, TBG had a say on who was drafted. But Whaley was the lead.
@ Leroi : (11 May 2017 - 03:26 PM)Dawkins was TBG's influence
Even at that, you're talking about a guy that's been on the field far, far more often than not.
His biggest impediment to productivity has been lack of targets when on the field; injury is a relatively distant second in that it's really only held him back last year.
...so the team doesn't need good players?
I bet you that you're wrong, but fortunately, we won't find out.
What they paid for him has nothing to do with it. At all. He's 24 years old and has been nothing short of excellent when on the field and given opportunities. There's no reason whatsoever not to keep him.
With Bucannon, Dansby, and Reddick in the fold, he just wasn't going to get the chance at playing time there.
I think he'd have a lot to prove to a staff in order to get a chance, and not having played a snap of competitive football in nearly 4 years has to make him a long-shot to make a team.
"Flash here and there"? He has the 4th-most receiving yards in the history of the game for a player under the age of 24.
He has 2,500 yards and 17 TDs in only 39 games, and in the only stretch of games of his pro career where he averaged close to 10 targets per game, he was the most productive WR in the NFL.
For me, it would take more than that, but not much.
Gettleman also spent a 1st round pick on Kelvin Benjamin and a 2nd round pick on Devin Funchess in back-to-back drafts.
They also just spent a 2nd round pick on Curtis Samuel.
From that very article:
"There’s been no indication Watkins is available, but with him expected to hit free agency after the 2017 season and a new regime in charge in Buffalo, it wouldn’t hurt to ask."
And according to the poster on this board that has had literally everything correct this offseason prior to when the information hit the media, you're incorrect:
@ Leroi : (10 May 2017 - 03:31 PM)Whaley was sabotaged by TBG. Convincing Terry that a complete change of culture was necessary. Whaley hired TBG and ran the draft only to be stabbed in the back, ultimately succumbing to office politics.
