I'm not anti-Reggie; I just need to see him at a lighter weight to feel good about his scheme fit. -
LB Gerald Hodges visiting-Edit: SIGNED!

Yep...he slides right into the Thomas Davis role, which is a nice corollary since he's a former safety as well. Now we just need to find our Kuechly...Milano? -

Someone find Blokes...he's going to flip I knew it! Side note: it would shock me if he didn't sign quickly. Great fit and easily his best chance to start and earn a big-money contract next offseason. -
Rick Dennison interview on WGR

At first, yes, but look at the final 9 games of 2015. G-Ro actually made an effort to get him involved, and he was the 4th-most targeted player in the NFL over that 9-game stretch...and he was the most productive WR in the league as a result. -

No, we aren't. He's had basically equal production to Stevie's best season in fewer games with far, far fewer targets. I'll continue to say it: the biggest impediment to Sammy's productivity has been lack of targets, because he's been outstanding on a per-target basis. His second-biggest impediment has been availability, but he's hardly been an outlier in that regard as far as receivers go. See above: biggest issue is lack of targets when he's on the field. A relatively distant second is his availability. -

No...the implication was quite clear: Stevie's best season in the NFL required 60% more targets to produce a similar number of yards and TDs than Sammy's best season (in which he played 3 fewer games I might add). -

What? In Stevie's best season, he caught 82 passes on 143 targets for 1,073 yards and 10 TDs. In Sammy's second year, in which he played 13 games, he caught 60 passes on 95 targets for 1,047 yards and 9 TDs Sammy has the 5th-most receiving yards before turning 24 years old of any WR in NFL history. -

I completely agree...I posted the article merely as contextual reference for where he struggles. -

One thing I was certain of is that you'd pick apart anything I posted. That was literally exactly what you asked for...3 step drop, plant, throw, TD. Ball was out in less than a second and on target. The other throw I thought of immediately was this TD versus KC, which I'm sure you'll have some kind of issue with: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnN8iC2MqII Regardless, the numbers tell a clear story, and there's plenty of examples. Like this one: http://www.buffalobills.com/video/videos/Tyrod-Taylor-finds-LeSean-McCoy-for-a-7-yard-touchdown-catch/36514da0-0f11-41fa-9dca-8602c5d66bf9 -

I just saw this...it took me all of 1/2 second of thinking to come up with this: https://twitter.com/NFL/status/795808531018444802?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Ffansided.com%2F2016%2F11%2F07%2Ftyrod-taylor-finds-justin-hunter-td-video%2F I'm sure there's others -

Read the Cover 1 article I posted above; 3-step drops are indeed within his comfort zone. -

Dude... http://www.cover1.net/2017/03/tyrod-taylors-2016-passing-campaign-misinterpreted-misused/ "Statistics show Tyrod Taylor is a capable quick-game quarterback. On the season, Taylor completed roughly 65 percent of his throws and had an accuracy rating of 79.1 percent when throwing quick-game off of a 3-step drop. The Bills’ offense motioned 33 percent of the time while they had a quick-game concept play called. The quick game allowed Taylor to diagnose the defensive coverage pre-snap and find the correct receiver to throw the football to post-snap. The quick game is an effective way to pick up a decent amount of yards on early downs. Some of Taylor’s best passing games were when he was efficient in the 3-step passing game (See above chart)." -

I guess that depends upon how you define "coachable"...in my opinion, and this may sound stuffy because it's a semantics point, "coachable" is a word that applies to the player, whereas "learnable" is the word I would use to describe the technique. I would say that it's definitely learnable; the question is precisely how coachable the player is when it comes to this one particular issue. I think Tyrod can learn the skill; I'm just not sure how well he can marry it with what he innately does well. To be fair, the previous OCs didn't exactly give Tyrod a ton to handle in terms of pre-snap or post-snap reads; they more or less allowed him play within his comfort zone. -

His first point is definitely the most important, since it will mitigate Tyrod's biggest weakness (holding the ball too long), as well as his second biggest weakness (bailing the pocket too soon and in the wrong direction). Regarding his final point, if Tyrod can get become more consistent in reading across the field (as opposed to just the High-Low concepts he's become efficient with) it'll really open up the playbook and limit opposing safeties' ability to roll coverage. -
I'm about 90% finished with my menu for the upcoming season. We have a theme wear we always make food that is an homage to the opposing team or city...but having at least 2 Paula's per person is a non-negotiable constant.
-
Teams started keeping 7 WRs and extra TEs, plus having their 7th OLman occasionally wearing an eligible number so that he doesn't have to report every play, so the league opened up the teens to WRs and RBs

Rex's exact quote is in the article: we think he avoided nerve damage, but we don't know. I'm very concerned. You are remembering incorrectly; it's nothing to be ashamed about.

I believe that makes 3 out of 6, right? -
We can only hope he's that good a player.

Ragland's injury was immediately reported as non-contact, and that they were keeping their fingers crossed hoping that it wasn't bad. I never saw him reported as "week to week"
