  1. I don't see too many RPO plays that leave defenders unblocked. I've seen a lot of zone-read plays that do that, but typically with RPO you're covering the majority of the front-7 with blockers; the only unblocked man is the KEY. Maybe I simply haven't seen as much of it as you have, but it would surprise me if Daboll's plan was to leave unblocked front-7 players.
  2. Exactly. The purpose of PA/RPO is to get the defense to hesitate, and the way defenses are built to attack the LOS these days, that hesitation is all the more troublesome for them.
  3. I'm all over Stefon Diggs and Shaq Mason, and I'd definitely look at Daryl Williams too. Grab those 3 guys and you can spend the rest of UFA acquiring depth at DT, LB, and CB. Also, big nod to my boy Quinton Spain, who I had rated as a fringe day 2 guy coming out of West Virginia
  4. Profitable outside the scope of the NFL's TV deal; he did a great job in maximizing the team's non-shared revenue.
  5. I always defended the job he did in keeping the team profitable If he did this stuff then I'm thrilled to see him go
  6. I definitely think that their plan for the upcoming season is to make use of RPOs on a regular basis to hold off defenders; that can only help a guy like Allen too--mixing in single-read plays will speed his acclimation to the pro game.
  7. You have a better shot at getting Ricardo Louis or Rishard Higgins than Coleman.
  8. Atlanta is tight against the cap and just drafted Calvin Ridley; I wonder if they'd move Mo Sanu for a conditional draft pick next year and let Justin Hardy and Marvin Hall slide into more prominent roles?
  9. NFL.com also said that the Bills were "strongly considering" Paxton Lynch at 19 in 2016
  10. I think that a training camp trade for Bulaga could definitely happen They have McCray, Spriggs, and our boy Kyle Murphy waiting in the wings to take the RT job, and Bulaga already refused a pay cut
  11. Those Leonard Johnson jerseys can be recycled!
  12. Agreed Dave I also like that the team has much of the "cornerstone" talent on D under contract beyond 2019. Next offseason, there will likely be only 1-2 starting jobs available (LB and corner) on that side of the ball, which will allow the team to be aggressive in their pursuit of WR and OL help.
  13. No worries man. I occasionally know a thing or two is all.
  14. Next year's pass rush crop is amazing
  15. Let's get either Crosby or Jamarco at 121
  16. Agreed I smell a trade for a vet WR or OL
  17. The point is it's easy to criticize a pick from here based on meaningless platitudes
  18. Nobody criticized the Mankins pick in light of his moving to guard Please, please move Cannon to LT. I can't wait to see that.
  19. He's been mediocre at best as a drafter. And you probably weren't around if you think the Mankins pick was similar. People said he couldn't play OT in the NFL--they were right.
  20. Technique and reading keys you can work on, T-Rex arms and guard bodies can't be fixed See how easy this is?
