  1. It's crazy. The bills should be up by 2 touchdowns. They have a bunch of self-induced failure and they are going to lose because of it.
  2. The passing game is back yard football. Unacceptable
  3. Hamlin looks like a little kid out there. Why is he defending this?
  4. Allen is like 100x better than rodgers
  5. Hate empty backfield there. We were bradied
  6. Double dip and force the jets to be a throwing team playing from behind. The offense can pretty much get the bills a stranglehold on the game
  7. Buck and aikman can't believe their eyes with that kick. For me, not surprised.
  8. Brady is awful. He is hurting this team. That series had little to do with the wr situation
  9. What a terrible 3rd down play. Wth
  10. Hamlin needs to go. They're playing with 10 1/2 defenders
  11. Not sure I'm a fan of a mid-day super bowl... but as a ototo thing it would be kind of cool.
  12. This. Pederson is a lame duck at this point
  13. I don't know what's worse. That photo, or the branch snap sound on tv
  14. Super terrible. Best wishes
  15. That image/still is deceptive. Cook doesnt seem to be touching the ground there.
  16. If I am Adams, I am resisting the Jets (if he has any say). I know he had a good experience in Green Bay in the past, but Rodgers is clearly struggling physically. There also seems to be quite a bit of uncertainty there among management and among the players that needs to play out. Also factor in he is playing for a new contract and will have to play on that horrible turf for several games. Almost any other team mentioned looks more appealing to me.
  17. The Sabres drought is so much worse than the Bills drought. The Bills only had 2 terrible seasons in that and remained relatively middle-of-the pack. It is also harder to make the playoffs in the NFL than it is the NHL. There was one year there were 31 teams, 24 made it and the Sabres failed! I ran the statistical probability of missing the NHL playoffs the past 13 years based on the NHL's # of teams and playoff format. There is a .003% chance of missing for the past 13 years. 3 Thousandths of a percent. The Bills' drought was at .03%, which is pretty long, but the Sabres' drought is much more unlikely from a probability standpoint, thus a much bigger fail. It halves every year too, so if they miss this season, it would be at a .0016% chance. If they miss next season too (why not look ahead, Kevyn Adams is the GM), it would be .000825%
  18. Usually when a coach gets fired mid-season, the team is out of it, players are going through the motions, and the firing is not unexpected This is different. The Jets are a couple plays from 4-1 and they have been playing hard, especially on defense. As far as I know, salei was popular with the players, at least on defense. I'm sure the players know what has happened more than the public. If this was Rodgers' doing, this thing could blow up very badly. There is a lot riding on this game. If it's a slug fest and Rodgers turns the ball over 3 times and they lose, it will get juicy.
  19. 90% of Stephen King adaptations are trash and/or not true to the book(s). Carrie the original is a 'classic', but the newer one in 2013 was more true to the book (with a few modern technological details). The Shining deviates pretty far from the source material and misses several of the most-important themes. Misery is decent, but leaves out some of the most gruesome details. The Mist was great, but they inserted a shock-value end that overshadows the rest of the movie. I had heard Stephen King does not approve of Christine (and he approves of ANYTHING that brings him more cash). The Under the Dome series was a pile of poop, as was the new The Stand series. The Dark Tower was also some kind of alternate gobbledy *****. I havent seen the new Salem's Lot yet. The book is great, and shouldn't be all that hard to follow. Some of the images I have seen make it look like it may be a true adaptation.
  20. Rodgers blew up Salei. No doubt about it
  21. Thats not good at all
  22. Poltergeist - just horrifying for me as a kid in the 80s. Really tense atmosphere and edgy effects for the time. Insidious - pretty much the perfect horror movie. Tense throughout. Lighting, sound, etc turn everything up to an 11 for the entire movie. Terrifier - slasher flick, I'm usually not a fan of those... but terrifier perfected the genre. Art the clown is scarier, more brutal, and more mysterious than Freddy, Jason, Michael, etc. Low budget for the 1st one is a strength with edgier effects and cinematography. House of 1000 Corpses - the best of the trapped in a house with a crazy sadistic family genre. Rob Zombies best film, a tribute to the horror genre. Takes a turn toward the supernatural in the last act. Honorable mention: the day after, hereditary, grave encounters, get out, devils rejects, cabin in the woods, drag me to hell, saw, scream.
  23. Kincaid wasnt close. The odds of an overturn were zero, and it is pretty black and white. It would be egregious and incorrect to overturn the call on the field. It was clear the ball was shifting in Kincaid's hands, he didn't have possession when he was in the air, after his feet were in contact in bounds. Coaches deserve criticism yesterday for sure. This is not a topic that criticism is warranted. I'd rather not burn a challenge in the first half hoping the referee makes some sort of wild error I didn't pay enough attention to the replays of the cook play. My first instinct was it wasn't really close enough to watch the replays closely (I was in a restaurant with friends)
