  1. This is the result of daily life in a city that leads the nation in murder and STD's Must be in the water,
  2. I believe this years Bills will be 7-9, slow start with so many tough road games, strong 2nd half
  3. I keep hearing about how good the Ravens are and how they will challenge for a playoff spot in the AFC. Really, they have an average QB with a dimenishing skill set, no top of the line running backs (sorry, don't see Alex Collins as even close to elite), an ok offensive line, very solid at T, interior decent. The WR group dosent scare me challenging the Bills secondary and their #1 pick TE Hayden Hurst is out Sunday. Defense is solid and not spectacular, solid outside pass rush in Suggs and Judon, very average secondary. Defensive line is solid but again not elite and they are down two starters one on the defensive line (Willie Harris) and without their top corner in Jimmy Smith (suspended for being a knucklehead) The special teams return game is weak, great placekicker in Justin Tucker and a good punter. They have the look to me of a 6 win team at best. So, please tell me why the national media is all over their jocks unless I'm totally missing something.
  4. Doing big pot of chili, making a 4 lb Tri-tip with Au jus with mushrooms and onions. Big garden salad, black, green and red grapes ? to snack on. Homemade potato salad.
  5. I'm sure you have no knowledge of the type of person either Drew Bree's or Nate Peterman is. I've met and had a chance to get to know to Drew Bree's. Very classy person and fine family man. Don't know Peterman but I hope he is every bit a good man as Drew Bree's and hope he has a long and successful career once his time in Buffalo is done. You sir, should hope the people who know you don't have the same opinion of your future success in your chosen profession. Maybe you should apologize to the people on this board for your classless statement.
  6. Sadly your gonna get roasted for your take but Le me join you in your comparison. Very comparable skill set and for those that don't remember (I'm a native Hamburg resident who relocated to San Diego) Bree's had two very shaky years at the beginning leading the Chargers to draft Phillip Rivers. Then in his 3rd season Bree's got it and started on his path to a hall of fame career. Does Nate Peterman have the intangibles to succeed at a Drew Bree's level? That's yet to be determined, however in a limited body of work all lot of the same attributes that Bree's has to make him a great QB do show in Peterman's play. I think that the fans in Buffalo will see Nate on another team in a climate controlled stadium do very well in the future as Josh Allen is our future number 1. Let's hope that the Bree's/Rivers scenario plays out in both Buffalo and in Nate's new team in the future
  7. We currently have $81,000,000 to spend with 34 players signed and 10 draft choices. I'm thinking we are in really good shape to build on our weakest parts next year.
  8. Since all players are now free agents and not subject to waiver claims or previous salaries will the Bills make any player moves today. My thought is we move Lafayette Pitts off the roster and Marshall Newhouse and add an interior offensive lineman and a swing tackle and then move McDermott to practice squad
  9. Based on where the Bills are at now, Nate is the best choice. He knows the offense, gets the ball out quickly and makes decisive throws. i believe he has a classic skill set to be a nice spot starter and long term back-up and will be the placeholder for our young flame-thrower until and if we fall out of playoff contention. Ready to support him and wish him well as I'm sure we all do
  10. Glad to see the non-football people taking time to provide an actual football response. Thanks for the well-thought out feedback to this post.
  11. After filling out 8/10 of the practice squad, cutting Schmidt and adding the P and CB, we have a little over 9 million in cap space. The waiver period ends I believe tomorrow morning and all unsigned players are available free agents. Assuming you keep $5,000,000.00 for emergencies what player/players would you add and who would they replace. Looking forward to everyone's thoughts.
  12. Did you take and sum all of the salaries of everyone who made the roster and then add the dead cap to the sum. That's the number you use to subtract from the available cap space. Simple math and a small amount of effort is all that was needed.
  13. I think Peterman will do reasonably well if he is game planned to his strengths and if the offensive line can open holes for the running game. However it's my beliefs weakness across the interior will doom this team to a 5 to 6 win season. LB is a major area of concern for me as Edmunds, although talented is also young and tends to misread plays and I still don't know if we can generate a pass rush. We will have superb special teams and great coaching but the 1st 8 games are tough with maybe 3 wins at best, 2 is more probable. 2nd half of the schedule is more manageable with 4 wins. So, honestly I see 6-10
  14. Deonte Thompson released by the Cowboys, worth another look?
  15. With the listed roster cuts we pick up $3,703,000.00 in cap space. That should leave the Bills about $12,000,000.00 in 2018 cap space as they review any roster changes/upgrades after all the cuts are released.
  16. Looks like after the 2018 salary - dead cap hit, the Bills can add 3,703,000.00 to the salary cap leaving them around 12 million to work with. Plus having 87 played - 34 cut - McCarron leaves 52 players on the roster unless I missed something.
  17. Keeping and playing Newhouse, Ducasse and Miller do have one short term benefit. It will get the Bills a top 3 pick next year and allow to do injury buyouts for Peterman and McCarron at the end of the season.
