  1. Honestly I prefer Lamar Jackson, but I love the possibility of adding a G/C prospect in Billy Price to be the replacement for Ritchie in 2019. Falk has a really good arm, is very accurate but needs time to develop into a pro QB and to learn to play under center. I have concerns over pocket awareness with him as I do with Josh Rosen. To me, Falk is a complementary piece with good players around him and I'd rather risk a pick in the 3rd round and add more talent instead of giving up draft capital to get a player who may not be able to pull up a below average team.
  2. It seems Bryant wants a chance to excell, become a number 1 WR, and then get paid. On a one year deal which is what he is on now he could be a great addition. It gives the Bills a year to determine if he is worthy of a long term contract extension. Honestly, what WR could you take at 96 that would be better? Name 1 who fits our needs like he does.
  3. AJ is a deep thrower and could really use Bryant as a deep threat as he did Green in Cincinnati
  4. This is not a great draft for outside deep threat receivers. Lots of slot guys or guys like Kelvin Benjamin. Bryant has experience and history, albeit off the field issues and is a free agent after the 2018!season as is Benjamin. But if both produce we have the cap space next season to retain both. I'm hoping we see a huge bump in productivity in Zay Jones in the slot and for that reason I may consider another receiver in the 4th, 5th or 6 rounds that's a slot type. Then if we can make the deal for Bryant here is my draft: Round 1 - pick 12 - Leighton Vander Eshe Round 1 - pick 22 - Billy Price Round 2 - pick 53 - Harrison Phillips Round 2 - Pick 56 - Rashard Penny Round 3 - Pick 65 - Luke Falk Round 4 - Pick 121 - Fred Warner Round 5 - Pick 167 - Taron Johnson Round 6 - Pick 188 - Tony Adams
  5. Would you trade of 2nd, 3rd round pick (96) to the Steelers for Martavis Bryant?
  6. I truly believe the "top 4" will be selected by the 12th pick. Which in my opinion is great news for the Bills. 1. Browns - Darnold 2. Giants - Barkley 3. Jets - Rosen 4. Browns - Chubb 5. Broncos - Allen 6. Colts - Nelson 7. Cardinals - Mayfield (Trade up with Tampa) 8. Bears - Trumaine Edmunds 9. 49ers - Derwin James 10 Raiders - Roquan Smith 11 Dolphins - Vita Vea 12 Bills - Leighton Vander Eshe 13 Redskins - De'Ron Payne 14 Packers - Marcus Davenport 15 Bucs - Denzel Ward 16 Ravens - Calvin Ridley 17 Chargers - Maurice Hurst 18 Seahawks - Mike McGlintchy 19 Cowboys - Cortland Sutton 20 Detroit - Darrius Guice 21 Cincinnati - James Daniels 22 Buffalo - Lamar Jackson 23 Patriots - Minkah Fitzpatrick 24 Carolina - Mike Hughes 25 Titans - Sam Hubbard 26 Falcons - Taven Bryan 27 Saints - Hayden Hurst 28 Steelers - Mason Rudolph 29 Jaguars - Hayden Hurst 30 Vikings - Ronnie Harrison 31 Patriots - Kolton Miller 32 Eagles - Connor Williams
  7. I hate this draft. If a QB at 12 it would be Jackson and not Rudolph. I like Rudolph I'd take him at 22, select best LB at 12 which is a huge area of need. If Trumaine Edmunds is their sprint to the podium, if not grab our next QB of the defense in Leighton Vander Eshe. Round 2 pick 53 - James Washington - WR Round 2 pick 56 - Austin Corbett - G Round 3 pick 65 - Rashard Penny - RB Round 3 pick 96 - Fred Warner - LB Round 4 pick 121 - Cedric Wilson - WR Round 5 pick 166 - Andrew Brown - DT Round 6 pick 187 - Taron Johnson - CB
  8. I agree with you completely. If it's Rosen then we have to trade up to 2nd, I think all we have to do to get Mayfield is to get in front of Miami. My QB preference is Lamar Jackson who I think will be available at 12.
  9. If the Bills had drafted Marino instead of Kelly many of the dynamics change. Marino comes in, starts, Bills win more, don't have the ability to draft the players they do in 1985, so we don't get Bruce or Andre and we don't go to 4 Super Bowls. Kelly comes in with pieces in place and is one of the final pieces with Steve Tasker, Shane Conla, Biscuit, Odems, Tasker and Thurman finish the mix. My point is this, a franchise QB with a less then stellar cast around him isn't in a position to succeed. Build the team, then get the QB as the final piece to the puzzle. My solution is ensure you get Lamar Jackson, hopefully at 12, or trade up maybe to 9, keep most of our draft capital and make the roster more solid, develop Jackson, add the final pieces in 2019 free agency and draft and be a serious contender in 2019.
  10. Please explain your opinion. I've laid out players and possible picks. If I give detail in my position I would hope for detail in return.
  11. What the deal would break down would be: 12, 22 and Next Years First (slight overpay by Buffalo) 53 and next years 2nd for Odell, Giants now would have 4 picks in the top 53 this year, crazy draft capital in 2019, dump Odell's salary and can do a full rebuild next year with 8 picks total in rounds 1 & 2. Bills get their franchise QB, two WR's in their prime and a young slot receiver. A chance to keep building their roster with the remaining picks Pick 56 - Malik Jefferson - LB Pick 65 - Brandon Parker - OT Pick 96 - Shaqueem Griffin - LB/S hybrid 4th Round - Fred Warner LB 5th Round - Justin Jones - DT 6th Round - Taylor Hearn - G 7th Round - Holton Hill - CB
  12. If it's Rosen as the QB, I see him mentally strong enough to keep Odell in his place like Eli does
  13. I thought about that but we have a third, two forths, a 5th, 6th and two 7th round picks. However we would have our choice of QB, the assumption is we use some of our cap space in 2019 to sign Odell to a long term deal. We would still have picks 56 and 65 to address immediate needs at LB and OT, pick 96 and and 4th to get a 2nd LB and G, then our 5th, 6th and 7th for slot corner, DT and RB. An offense of Benjamin and Beckham with Jones in the slot, Clay at TE, McCoy in the backfield, Ivory getting touches to spell Shady and an offensive line with added depth to go with a solid D with two LB's added along with a slot corner and I'll roll into Foxboro with a fighting chance.
  14. Was thinking about ways to make a dynamic improvement in the 2018 Buffalo Bills. Here is my trade offer. Bills offer pick 12, 22, 53, 1st and 2nd 2019 picks for Giants 2nd pick and Odell Beckham Jr. Would you make this offer and would the Giants be interested. Assuming Cleveland takes Josh Allen, who would you select at pick number 2?
  15. Wow, great response. What is with you people who are obsessed with the big 4 of QB's. Darnold - Small hands and turnover probe Rosen - Concussion issues and leadership Mayfield - Short, comes from spread offense Allen - Terrible footwork and pocket awareness What's wrong with staying at 12 and taking the QB with the best athletic ability, can play from under center, has great leadership, top level arms and moxie and pocket awareness and who would be a monster in a RPO style offense like the Bills may move into. Keep the rest of the picks, build our roster and develop Jackson and use him situationally in games. Then play out the 2018 season, and use our full set of picks in 2019 and 70 million in cap space to fill any additional holes. BTW - Let's see what the Steelers want for WR Martaveous Bryant as if he stays clean is the perfect compliment to Benjamin and hopefully Jones develops in the slot.
  16. I'd pick him at 12, and see which QB falls when we get to pick 22, if all 6 are taken before then, then fill another hole and look at the 2nd tier of QB's in round 2. If we don't get a QB in this draft because we don't waste picks to trade up, I'm ok as I believe AJ will play very well and be a 62% completion guy with about 3600 yards and 24 TD's and 10 Int's. If AJ plays to that level we win 11 games, if he plays poorly, then we've built the team well enough to do a Rams like turn-around in 2019 with our new QB and free agent additions
  17. I've read some reports that the reason for the Brandon Cooks deal is to gain draft capital to move up in the draft. Just read an article that the Patriots are interested in acquiring the 2nd pick in the draft, giving up both firsts and both seconds. If they do this and take Josh Rosen I can't wait to see how Rosen and Belichick get along. Just don't see Rosen as "A Patriots Way" kind of guy. I see an implosion of epic proportion coming if this occurs.
  18. Your analogy is almost correct, the Rams traded, got Goff and they were awful and completely inept on offense in 2016. They had cap room and made moves with FA selections to bolster their offensive line and WR group. Changed coaches and then took off in 2017. The Bills have the unique opportunity to get a QB and build their roster in the 2018 draft. Let's remember any QB we pick is gonna be an unused roster spot in 2018. Let's stay at 12, 22, 53,56, 65 and 96. Take Jackson or Rudolph and build the rest of the roster, then let's see what AJ can do and if we can progress from 2017. Then use our significant cap room and a full allotment of 2019 draft picks to replace the Patriots at the top of the division for at least the next 5 years as the Patriots fall apart after Tommy and Bill leave, the Dolphins are an organizational mess and the Jets have their franchise QB and no players around him. Thats my plan, what's yours?
  19. True, this is a poor year for OT and we can get by with Dawkins, Mills, Newhouse and McDermott. I think Goedert and Geiski are gone by pick 53 rollls around. Possibly Mark Andrews would like to play professional ball with Baker Mayfield. Shaqueem is a first round pick if he didn't have the loss of his hand. Maybe he does drop. I do like some guards in this draft and that is a big need for us very soon.
  20. Love draft scenario 1, Mayfield and LVE would be awesome. Washington is a great pick at 56, Geiski I believe goes higher to the Dolphins at pick 42. However, if Mayfield slips to 7 only Arizona is in the pathway to move up ahead of us. I'd wait to see what's being offered knowing we can make a better offer then the Cardinals. In fact to make this deal I would exchange our first in 2019 for maybe a 2nd or 3rd in 2019. This way we keep pick 53 and possibly grab an impact DT such as Harrison Phillips at 56 and instead of Geseki I would go OT at 65, and LB at 96 (Shaqueem Griffin). Then in rounds 4, 5 and 6, would get a CB, RB and G.
  21. Your message board name says it all. Joesixpack, classic loser with a beer gut, borderline alcoholic, fat wife who isnt into sex and seeing the rest of your pathetic and homophobic life slipping away. Go drink another six pack or two, try and figure where your life went, continue to wonder why your fat wife is screwing everyone else except you and stay off this message board unless you have something of value to post. Weii, I guess that's not happening, so simply go away.
  22. Vander Esch is 6'4", 256, is instinctive with loose flexible hips, runs a 4.65, has a vertical of 39.5 inches and a three cone time of 6.88 His arrival will signal the end of Gronk beating the Bills down the seam. His comparables are Brian Urlacher and Karlos Dansby. Please tell me what you don't like about him
  23. I like your draft also, don't think Hernandez will be their at pick 53 though and I want a stud LB to make our defense a top 10 in the league.
