  1. Yeah, there's nothing powerful about the Bills or the end of that game. They looked like a neutered kitten. Embarrassing! Obviously if it goes in, everything is great, but it was an unnecessary risk and it cost them the ballgame.
  2. The only reason we're going to beat you guys is because you're traveling to the East coast and it's not the other way around. I think that the 49ers would be favored if we were traveling to CA to play. The talent on both teams isn't much different and neither is the level that both teams are playing right now.
  3. Center (replace the starter, keep the cheaper replacement) Kelsey Denney Royal
  4. No, we just feel duped. The stocks are the worst ever after an election, so that "change" could come at any time. That is, of course, unless it was just a campaign tactic! Anyone who thinks that "change" is coming is naive. Ok, I'm done.
  5. Wow. Maybe Mark Cuban will buy the Bills and keep them here because it will be good for the NFL, too.
  6. The real question is 'why aren't helmets padded on the outside???'
  7. I stand corrected. I guess the old adage is true, small things tickle small minds.
  8. Man, you need some new material. These are worse than Newman's bunion stories.
  9. Agree. Plus, I think that out of the two teams, the Jets have a better chance of a late season melt down than the Pats.
  10. True, but it is their job to give 100% and to me, it doesn't appear like they are doing that. You can have the best coach in the world, but at an NFL level, some personal accountability for the individual players is in order. It's the coaches job to find the right personnel and gameplan, not to fire them up like it's a high school basketball game. I'm not saying that we've got the gameplan down quite yet because it definitely needs work as well, but unless the players on the OLine start playing with some emotion and attitude, the best coach in the world won't bring it out of them at this level. Like anything else in the world, it all starts with the individual.
  11. Its a tough call because I'm not really an expert on player scouting or anything like that. It just seems like these guys on the line should be able to do better with what they have. The continuity is a big problem with injuries, but even when they were healthy, I didn't see Fowler & Butler picking up their games that much. Is it that hard to find good lineman or is it more of a coaching/scouting problem where we just picked the wrong guys to bring in? I think its the OLine players themselves not understanding what they need to do or more simply, not executing it.
  12. There are about 20 different posts on here about the the main problem is and it's hard to keep track of them all. Choose which option you feel is the biggest reason, and also the root of why the Bills are not as successful as you hoped them to be so far this season. Honestly, I feel like the root of the problem is not all the way at the top, but somewhere in the middle. I feel like the owner/coaches have built a pretty good team with alot of potential. The Oline is absolutely killing this team and it ripples out from there. I understand that it's the coaches responsibility to get quality players, but on paper, these guys look good, and should be playing better than they are. There's no way for an offense (QB, RB, and coaches) to look good if the OLine isn't going to be able to block anyone. If the offense doesn't look good, the defense probably isn't for very long either. Teams are going to make mistakes throughout games/seasons, but the consistent mistakes that the OLine have made this year have led to our inability to win games, in my opinion. Just curious what the majority of people on the board think.
  13. Perfect. It's a deal with one stipulation, son. The Bucs have to make the playoffs as well. They should be able to do that, right? They've got a very easy schedule coming up and already have a better record than the Bills.
  14. Interesting move. Probowler in 2006 and he gets outright released? And to make room on the roster for Ty Law? Thats a slap in the face if I've ever seen one. He must be horrible at coverage.
  15. Out of the woodwork he comes.... What happens when we make the playoffs this year? Will you stay away all offseason?
  16. It's been a few years since I've been to a game at the Ralph. Can I still sneak in a canteen filled with liquor like this one? I used to do this with no problems by wrapping it around my back, but I'm not sure what the pat-downs are like now. I know that at a number of stadiums now, there's no way I'd get it in. Also, I'm staying in Niagara Falls after the game. How long will it take us to drive back to the Falls with traffic? (a sober person will be driving.)
  17. I can shark with the best of 'em, but I'm not sure how that translates into anything on the football field other than grit. So I guess my job can be to whip these pansies into shape! Also, I can be the perennial team Captain.
