  1. Up: Regions FC (awesome) BofA BB&T Down: Fannie Mae ING (much to my dismay) Sands
  2. Thats true, I pay way more attention to gas prices than I do to a jersey numbers. I guess I just figured that TO would take #16 since nobody had that one yet. If I'm not mistaken,, #6 is also available.
  3. I agree murra. Every trade has its price. This one is special in that we drafted another lineman with the main pick that we traded for. Basically, its Wood (+others) vs. Peters. Time will tell how well that works out for us, but so far, I like it.
  4. One sidenote about him, I noticed last night on the play where Hamden threw the INT, he came running down the field to make the tackle, ran right past the guy who had the ball, and hit the guy behind him. Did anyone else see this? I even looked at it again with the DVR to make sure that I saw it right. He did look good blocking though.
  5. Yeah, he didn't look good last night. Slow, out of position, and looked like a rookie out there.
  6. Actually, I saw yesterday afternoon on Comcast SportsNet (the sports news channel here in Philly), the announcers were kind of pissed that Peters has only practiced 5 or 6 times so far this season. The rest were excused absences and the injury. That was before the game where he gave up a 1st series sack.
  7. Youre not kidding. Thanks for fixing the subject, Simon. I'm not sure what happened there...
  8. LB Ryan Manalac. The 6'0 Ohio native was a 2 year starter at LB for the Cincinnati Bearcats. Per text message.
  9. From the comments below the article: At least he didn't go around showing the video of him burping his baby
  10. Yeah, he looked good last night for the time he was in there. It's gotta be the flowing locks. Ellison looked like the guy we all know, unfortunately.
  11. Detroit actually died about 6 or 7 yrs ago. Thats why it isn't on the list.
  12. Thanks for looking that up. I'll consider it a problem if Maybin & Wood miss more than the first week, but I expect it to be at least the first few days of camp.
  13. Thats the first thing that I thought when I heard this, but figured that there was something that I didn't know about that had to happen first. It makes all the sense in the world this year for Buffalo/Tennessee to set the precedent. My question is does this happen every year to the teams that are in the HOF game? The Bills were in it in '89, but the game was alot different 20 yrs ago.
  14. I think that is the case, too. I haven't seen the story yet, but it makes sense to me that starting a week early will lead to delays in the signings. However, I'm sure that the spin on the story will be focused on the trigger word "holdout".
  15. I'm sure it will be playing all morning, but its coming up on SC.
  16. Whats freaky is that they saw the skinny jeans craze coming.
  17. I agree about Murray. He's probably the main reason why I tune into that show.
  18. Griffis sculpture park http://www.griffispark.org/ (be sure to bring some sort of hallucinogenics to enhance the experience) Also, if you're looking for a good day trip from Buffalo, head down to the Allegany National Forest along the NY/PA border. One of the largest national parks in the country, and it has the Kinzua dam, Rimrock, Jakes Rocks, etc.
  19. Thats kind of surprising for that obscure of a show, but personally, I love it. Good to see some creativity getting some accolades.
  20. Is it just me, or does this woman's face look eerily similar to TO's face?
  21. To be honest, inviting 65 kids to a country club is just a horrible idea in the first place. Who wants to drop $5K/yr to belong to a country club when they let 65 kids bombard the pool? White or black, its a bad idea to start with. I've golfed at the Philmont, which is right next to this, and have seen this pool. An influx of 65 kids would literally fill it because it isn't that big. Bad idea by the club, and a situation that could have been easily avoided. To me, it seems that race wasn't the issue here (regardless of a few overheard, snide remarks by the members), it was the number of people.
