  1. Kenneth Davis averaged 4.5 ypc for the Bills while Thurman averaged 4.1. SEE ?
  2. Is there any links to game film out there? I didn't see much.
  3. I know, it's getting real annoying. You can't go through a thread anymore without getting a bunch of sob stories, whining, and BS. As far as the DiGi reup, why wouldnt they? He has a year under his belt of calling the defensive signals when Poz was hurt. He's not there to be some tackling machine, he's here for special teams (which he's good at) and to backup the MLB. Finkle, would it be better if they bring in some black dude who doesn't know the defense? It's not like we're paying him anything.
  4. But at the same time, the Buff media acts like this is shocking news or that it doesn't happen everyday, in every sport, on every team. Everyone knows the difference between right & wrong, we don't need Sullivan to spell it out and add his comments like he "should be in jail" or "cut from the team". Anyone with half a brain knows that he isn't going to jail and he isn't getting cut. Who really cares what happens outside of the football field? How is anyone's life affected by this incident besides Marshawn? Sure there are 1,000,000 what if's, but the reality of the situation is that nobody got hurt. Now everyone respond with the "but next time things could be different" posts. Of course next time could be different! Again, the reality of the situation is that this will be swept under the rug, he'll pay a fine, maybe get suspended for a game or two, and probably have another great season. Honestly, all I care about is that he has another great season. Anyone who takes personal offense to this is fooling themselves about why they follow the Bills.
  5. yawn... 21 posts and nothing funny at all? Do something if you're gonna do it.
  6. I agree. Honestly, both the Eagles and Housh deserve that trade. He's been waiting his whole career to play for a contender, and the Eagles have been waiting for 10 years for a real receiver.
  7. That's easy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6jVEYR7a8c...feature=related
  8. You're so f'ing needy. Cuts/extensions, contract status.... try Google!
  9. Not only one of the great mysteries of Major League, one of the great mysteries of the World!
  10. Same thing rings true in Philly. Poverty breeds stupidity & violence. It's no coincidence that the worst neighborhoods in most cities are predominantly black. It's also no coincidence that the majority of gun crimes happen in those same neighborhoods. It's also no coincidence that the worst public schools and highest government aid are in those neighborhoods as well. All go hand in hand. Until that cycle is broken, there will always be neighborhoods that you just don't go into unless you're willing to risk your life. Check out this map of murders in Philly from 2006: http://inquirer.philly.com/graphics/murders_map/ With regards to Marshawn, he was brought up in the middle of this. How did the people in his neighborhood protect themselves? With guns. How will he protect himself? With guns.
  11. That's sort of the direction that I'd like to see the team go as well. McGee's a free agent next year, so why not resign Greer and then try and trade our oldest corner next year? I don't think that the dropoff in talent is much when you look at McGee, Greer, and an up & coming McKelvin. You could even make the case that Youboty would have outplayed everyone last year based on his start in 2008. I think that the question the Bills need to answer is do they keep Greer this year or McGee next year. To me it makes more sense to trade McGee since you could get something in return for him, because we don't need his kick return skills anymore, and because he's the oldest of our corners.
  12. Yeah, the article said that: "when they came into contact with three adult males in a 2006 Mercedes Benz. After speaking with the occupants, they determined that one of the men in the car was Lynch, the Bills starting running back. A field investigation led to the “discovery of a loaded firearm.” UPDATE: Lynch’s lawyer, M. Gerald Schwartzbach, told the Associated Press that Lynch was visiting friends in California and said there wasn’t a traffic accident. Per the AP, Culver City police didn’t return a call requesting information on why Lynch and his friends came into contact with police officers. Sort of ambiguous as to why the cops would approach the vehicle at all.
  13. That pi$$es me off! You shouldn't need a license to enjoy nature and try to make a living. And a Mudhen's player to boot?!?!
  14. Thanks. It was one for the ages! Not really, but a good day nonetheless.
  15. The only receiver that we should even consider at 11 is Crabtree.
  16. I agree that it's a great place. When I went, it was for business, so we just had them bring out a whole mess of food for us to pick at before our entree's we're up. The waiter had worked there for like 15 years and made it a great experience for us. Sounds like a plan on the corned beef , although I'm not sure when I'll get back.
  17. Two choices: 1) 23 day, dry aged Porterhouse from Barclay Prime in Philadelphia. 2) Fresh, line caught Copper River Salmon in June from the Wild Ginger in Seattle.
  18. There's absolutely going to be defamation lawsuits from the players that get named. I think what he said was the right thing to do. Own up to it, and just move on. There won't be any backlash from anybody but the media and fans, so what do you really have to lose? You make the same money, don't get suspended, and don't get indicted for anything.
  19. Not sure if you have an older TV in there now or an LCD, but LCD's typically absorb light rather than reflect it, so it may not be as big of an issue once you get the new one.
  20. Samsung LN-T3253H (32-inch LCD flat panel) If you looking for something a bit smaller, this Samsung is currently the highest rated 32-inch model. Sharp LC-32GP1U (32-inch LCD flat panel) This is the Sharp model with the Vyper Drive. I'm skeptical about how much of a performance boost it truly offers, but the TV is quite good regardless, although we dinged it a bit for being on the pricey side for 32-inch LCDs. It also comes in a 37-inch model, the LC-37GP1U. These are the highest rated 32inch for gaming based on this editorial from CNET. It seems that the bottom line is that if the TV is good, it will be good for gaming. I personally have a 40in Samsung 1080p and it's awesome for TV and awesome for gaming. If I were you, I'd go with the one that you picked out (LG), Samsung, or Sharp. They are all great brands for flat screens and have consistent high performance rates since LCD's became popular.
  21. I guess that one example would be if you took LSD prior to it being illegal back in the 70's, and then got arrested for it once it was made illegal years later. But even that's a stretch because nobodys going to actually be arrested, and nobody's going to be suspended from baseball. The only real effects from this will be in the court of public opinion.
