  1. Found it. the full documentary is awesome. The attached video is for 7 minutes:
  2. If this comment was already made, my bad. So I knew I recognized Mike Pettine, I couldn't place where. Now I do. He is from North Penn High School, locally here outside of Philly. Our new D coordinator was the coach of North Penn when ESPN ran an unusual special about a high school football team for one season. That season was North Penn here outside of Philly, and Mike P was the coach. It was a great show. Awesome. North Penn High School is an awesome program as well. Some one should look up that show on youtube or something.
  3. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000122628/article/buffalo-bills-pick-syracuses-doug-marrone-as-new-head-coach It is on NFL.Com now. Little Doug Marrone History: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doug_Marrone What do i like the most about Dog Marrone? Born and raised in the Bronx. I think guys like Mario Williams, Marcel Dareus, Aaron Williams, to name a few need a Bronx flavor to kick them all to the next level of what they can do on the field. I of course meant Doug, not Dog.
  4. Completely agree. Really don't want to even consider Wiz. Probably with be Lovie Smith as HC, with Gil Byrd and Hue Jackson as two of his assistants.
  5. Ridiculous that this is not televised. I am listening to the Press Conference Now. Hey this is great for Russ Brandon to be given this opportunity. Happy for the opportunity that he is presented. I am hearing the same verbiage from him however - "Moving forward............I Empower my people.........." That's great in all. The big problem here is this, if you are Chip Kelly, Lovie Smith, Ray Horton, Bill O'Brien......I don't think the issue for these quality coaches is working for the Bills. I think the issue for these coaches will be working for an unknown named Russ Brandon. Russ is spot on with one of his comments - Its crap that the Bills not willing to spend money. The Bills have spent money, but in the wrong places. He is right that the Bills have spent money.
  6. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Agreed. Then work to diminish the power that Brandon currently has.
  8. BTW - Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. That said, if I rewind back to Dec of 2009 and Jan 2010, I believe that the whole Shanahan shenanigans never did end of on www.profootballtalk.com. I dont know, when reports hit this web site, like I said, some fire behind the smoke. Don't get me wrong, I am skeptical that any Tier 1 Coach will want to be involved with the current front office in Buffalo, outside of working with Whaley.. The front office above Whaley all the way to the top is probably the biggest deterent to getting the franchise on track.
  9. FWIW, check out www.profootballtalk.com pwer rankings and read the Titans comments: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/12/25/week-16-power-rankings-3/ For the comment to be made by that soucre, maybe there is a little fire behind this smoke................
  10. I think Chan is wants out, but it will take a firing to get it done.
  11. I was thinking about this as well, except for the Bills of course . How ugly are these stats: Only 2 teams in AFC have a winning record, 7 in NFC; 9 teams in AFC with a .500 record or better, 11 in NFC. I still think Houston is the favorite in the AFC, although losing Cushing is a big loss. Throw the Packers game out, just a bad game by Houston. Going to come down to Houston and NE in the AFC. NE schedule down the stretch is very favorable with home games vs Houston and the 49ers. In the NFC, I am not buying the Falcons. I am buying the GMEN, Bears and 49ers.
  12. Hate to point this out, but all that statement says to me is that 11 of the 16 AFC teams will be in contention for the playoffs. Quite frankly, that doesn't say much about the AFC, nor does it change my mind that the Bills are headed towards a disaster.
  13. I am not sure he was over reacting. At the time of "trauma" so to speak, this injury is insanely painful, but then the pain has a way of subsiding rather quickly over a few days. Again, not diminishing the injury whatsoever because it is painful. I suspect that what increased the pain at the time of trauma was CJ getting air knocked out of him as well. Those two instances hitting at once......yeah insanely painful. With or without CJ, I really, really like Buffalo's chances tomorrow.
  14. Always liked Bruschi. Even though he had enemy colors on, what a fantastic player, and one of the many Parcells draft picks that helped with the early 2000's super bowl run. I have shared my thoughts on the game on another post. But I will share again. If our D Line and O Line (not worried about our O Line really) play to the same level as they did vs Cleveland, I really, really like our chances. Cleveland's O Line is better than the Pat's O Line. Our D Line dismantled the Cleveland O Line. I don't feel the Pat's O Line has nearly enough to contain our front 4. I see this game shaping up as Mario's coming out party. I think Belichick will paly his bet and try to deal with Kyle Williams and Marcel Dareus first. that should lean to one on one blocking vs Mario and Mark Anderson. I like our DE's vs their tackles in this match up, which should in theory lead to blocking help from Gronk, takign Gronk out of the passing game. As said, i like out chances this weekend. Upset special of the week!
  15. I actually think this game is setting up to be Mario's coming out party. The PAT's O Line is not as good as Cleveland's O Line. Dareus not explosive? Wow, I just dont know what the NFLN is watching for highlights then. I feel Dareus is playing really good football. If the D Line and O Line play like they have the last two weeks, this game has upset special written all over it. I really, really like the Bills chances this weekend.
  16. If Our O Line and more importantly D Line play as well as they did yesterday, we have more than a chance at winning. Cleveland's O Line is a lot better than they are given credit for, I would say they are even better than the Pat's front five.
  17. Flynn couldn't beat out a 6' rookie, who yes is playing well now. Let's wait n see how the rookie fares 6 to 8 weeks from now when Defenses figure out what to do vs him.
  18. I have a suspicion that Chan my be gone sooner. However, is Chan really the problem? Make no mistake, the Bills were flat out not ready last week vs the JETS. But can we all honestly say that Chan is focal point of the Bills problems? Is it Chan? Front Office? Both? Not defending Chan, but he came in and took over a BIG MESS of a roster. I guess I didn't realize how much the roster was devoid of talent at the end of 2009. Sure Buddy has been adding pieces, but it looks like it will take more time to build the roster to be even competitive because he hasn't exactly hit on every draft choice. It is obvious that the lack of talent at WR, LB and in Fitz are all becoming more and more glaring. Chan will most likely take the fall for this. I want to throw more darts at Marv for his time at GM, but folks on this board have had enough of hearing about that, so I wont. When Chan gets the pink slip, whats happens next? The Bills elevate Wannstedt to interim HC then offer him the full set of keys????? That's an obvious step readily available and keeps the Bills from having to make to big of a house cleaning. Is that the right thing to do, however, especially when other issues are becoming bigger and bigger every day, such at the Stadium Lease. Get a BIG Time Coach in and the negotiations for the lease become more productive and the state probably becomes more confident that their investment in the Bills. At the end of the day however, I am not confident that the Bills can reel in a Big Time Coach, not because the Bills can't afford it, but because of the Front Office that is in place today. Front Office in my reply here means above Buddy and Doug Whaley. The Front Office is not in the same class as the Front Office's of teams consistently winning over the last 10 years - Pat's, Ravens, Steelers, GMEN, Eagles, Saints, etc. And in my opinion, the current Front Office is the true issue holding the Bills back from the major issues facing the franchise - Winning / Stadium Lease / Increased Profitability / etc. Chiefs 16 - Bills 9.
  19. Cant say I totally disagree with the post. Yes on WR's and accuracy, but not so sure on the O Line. The O Line has a lot of pressure put on it by the way Chan runs the Offense and it forces Eric Wood to be spot on always with blitz pick up. The Mental part of the game for Eric I feel is coming, but not all the way back yet. FWIW, the O Line played pretty well against the JETS. I must say that I am not as 100% as I used to be with Chan.
  20. Last night wouldn't have bothered me so much if Cutler wouldn't have acted like a big jerk. INT's will be thrown. He was completely out of line with some of his team mates. He may get rung up in the locker room if he keeps up running his mouth and disrespecting the team the way he did.
