  1. Why not release him and get rid of Schonert before pre-season so Bell and AVP can get some much needed exp in pre-season. Now they are throwin both of them into the fire @ NE!!!! WTF
  2. YES! they did give McIntyre a few series in the pre-season. He looked pretty nimble for a 260 pounder.
  3. Hopefully Alex figures out that you need to take a few chances, especially against teams that have way better coaches!
  4. This move means that we werent being vanilla all pre-season on purpose. Now what happens to the no-huddle?? If jauron has anything to do with the plays being called its going to be even that much more CONSERVATIVE!!!! Hopefully AVP has the play calling duties and has some BALLS!!! Lets go BILLS!!
  5. Thank You. The kid is only 21!!! And his first step is lookin real good!
  6. I think one goes hand in hand with the other. Our CBs have to give a cushion otherwise they will get burned because ther is NO PASS RUSH!!! If the CBs kno that someone is gona be in the QBs face then they can get up on their man and take some chances. Even the best Corners cant stay with a receiver for 4+ secs. When we blitz I would like to see our corners up a little more tho.
  7. McCargo, Ellis, and Parrish are in. Mace and Huggins out Thats my 53. DT Johnson made a couple plays in the chicago game, but other than that he is useless. Would anyone be surprised if he was cut??
  8. Also on the Bears is Corey Graham. Native of Buffalo, actually started some games last yr @ CB and IIRC was asked to make the switch to FS this yr. Dont know if he won the starting job or not but should play alot vs the Bills. Played against him when he was at Turner Carroll in Buffalo. Real fast and a great tackler.
  9. If we keep 4 tight ends we cut our FB. Also with that extra spot we are either keeping 7 WRs or an extra CB.
  10. Stroud was demanding double teams for most of last yr. IMO he was the MVP of our Defense. Another thing is that Rookies are alot more fired up in training camp than 9 or 10 yr vets. Stroud has already proven himself and even though i wasnt @ camp that day, my guess is that he isnt going all out like he will come Week One.
  11. Maybe if we are a threat to score 25+ pts a game we won't need a great run defense. Teams bail out on the run game if they fall behind or feel the need to score points fast. Just a thought...
  12. Brad Butler?? are you serious?? he was our best lineman last yr and the Bills gave him a contract extention last yr and now promoted him to RT. There is no way he gets cut. If Bell turns into this stud OT that everyone is jizzing in their pants about Walker would probably go before Butler, but this is rpobably 2 years down the road. I could see Kelsay, Simpson, and even Wilson bein cut. Roscoe gets traded for somethin above a bag of popcorn.
  13. It wouldn't surprise me to see scott in at LB on passing downs once Byrd gets adjusted. He will still be our SS on short yardage situations and possibly basic packages.
  14. I posted the same thing Sunday and people were yellin at me!your a lil late with the wood/ merman comparison.
  15. Sry if already posted but I was just thinkin about our new guys. Plain and simple we chose players that can make things happen. Maybin, Byrd, Harris, Nelson= playmakers especially compared to the guys we currently have at those positions. Think about it....Kelsay, Ko Simpson/Wilson, Ellison, and Fine/Shoumann. Can't remember any one of them making a play besides Dallas MNF. And when you add in the two kick a** take names later lineman, tommy likey!!!
  16. At, first, didnt mind these picks because I heard of someof these players. After the interview and video of Harris and other research I now love them. 4.6 % body fat, guy played in big games in a big time conference, and makes plays. Harris, Nelson, Byrd, and Maybin( to an extent) are all PLAYMAKERS!!! that is why i love these picks. Plus they are all very physically gifted and then some.
  17. Personally, he has the same frame, and reminds me of, john abraham. Hopefully he can play like him too.
  18. How in the hell did this giy last to the 121st pick? From what I have read this guy is shannon sharpe but faster. I just want him to catch a couple td's and not have key drops.I like the pick but let's not set the bar too high for this guy or we will try running him outta here like Hardy.

  20. Couple weeks ago ppl were throwing around john hendersons name. I know that may have been pre-draft chatter but I would love to put someone next to stroud that commands attention. Remember how tough the jags were about 3 yrs ago?? Even though he may only have a few yrs left this move would instantly nakes D top 5 IMO
