  1. I think Brad Smith has a big play vs the Giants this week. Either a play like the Oakland game where he caught a backwards pass in the flat and looked to launch deep ball, or a direct snap on a fake punt.
  2. I stopped reading when it said that Buffalo has been exceptional against the pass this season. Um, 2 words... Leodis McKelvin
  3. I believe the 2 teams that are decided later are the teams that finish the same rank as the Bills in each of the other AFC Div that we do not play already. For example, if we finish 3rd in AFC East we would get the 3rd place finisher from the AFC North and West.
  4. good post! offense is VERY much improved. Improvement on 3rd down is unbelievable. Last year i used to change the channel after a 2nd down incomplete pass or dump off by Edwards... How much has the sacks per pass attempt gone down??
  5. Both Marcus Easley and Danny Batten were turning heads in camp. They both should make team and compete for playing time next year. It will be like having 2 extra draft picks next year!!
  6. I forgot to get a pick in last week. Picked San Diego in my $$ suicide pool.
  7. WEEK 1: Giants over Panthers WEEK 2: Packers over Bills WEEK 3: Vikings over Lions
  8. First one is on ESPN main page....Shefter: Bills will load up on Spiller Next one is on NFL page.....Rumors: How Leinart shuffles off to Buffalo Can someone post these two articles??
  9. I talked to one of the Bills coaches in a local bar a few weeks ago. After a few mins of talkin back and forth, he said " What do u really want to ask me?" I asked him who the QB is going to be. His response was "whichever one hands the ball off the best"!!

  11. To me, throw a pitt jersey on this guy and he would blend right in with the steelers. Like this pick-up, terell suggs also ran sub 4.7 in the 40!!!!
  12. If new england trades a 2nd for another #1 next year I will cry. They already have Oaklands #1 pick next year which will most likely be top 10. Wow!! They are smart. 13 picks!!!! They can afford gamble on guys like Blount from Oregon, or Mike Williams from Cuse and if they miss no harm done
  13. Ummmm Spiller played for Clemson, which is in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) not the SEC.
  14. Um NO.... Morgan (6-4 266) is the perfect 3-4 OLB in the mold of Shawne Merriman (6-3 270) or Terrell Suggs. 3-4 DE's are in the mold of Richard Seymour. Usually around 290-300.
  15. Hes the 3rd or 4th rated OT. Tackle is notoriously a position that teams will "reach" on. Why would he be such a terrible pick??
  16. Jason Campbell is a free agent. Therefore, he can't be traded.
  17. http://draftzoo.com/mock-drafts-2/ I like this mock draft especially if the Bills can address ILB, QB, and WR in free agency. Wooten is a beast (6-7 280)and can rush passer from the 3-4 DE position. Didnt know much about Lane but looks impressive @ 6-6 265. Snead has all the physical tools to succeed. Cooper is a steal in the 6th. 9.) BUF-- Bruce Campbell, OT Breath easy, Bills fans. Tim Tebow has dropped from this spot. I think the Bills will look to add a quarterback at some point, but there are a few intriguing middle round prospects that would allow them to address one of their greatest needs here. Yes, there are plenty of holes in the front seven now that the 3-4 is posh in Buffalo, but there a few pieces to work with (Marcus Stroud, Aaron Maybin, Paul Posluszny ). The need I’m talking about is at offensive tackle. I’m willing to be that there are only a handful of QBs in the entire league that could play well behind the current tackles. Campbell comes with an injury history, but he’s as physically gifted as any OT in this class, and could pan out well as a longtime LT for the Bills. 9 (41). BUF-- Corey Wooten, DE If the Bills want to make a successful transition to the 3-4, they’ll learn from Denver’s mistake. You have to have youth and talent up front. Without Wootton, Buffalo is light on both. 8 (72). BUF — Austen Lane, OLB, Murray State He a great athlete that can probably start soon opposite Aaron Maybin in the new 3-4. If not, he might be able to bulk up and play down. Just a good piece for the transition. 9 (104). BUF — Jevan Snead, QB, Ole Miss He’s nowhere near the first round pick I predicted he’d be before the season (good call on that one, dumbass), but he does have all the physical tools to play in Buffalo. Chan Gailey needs to get his guy in this draft. 9 (136). BUF — Linval Joseph, NT, East Carolina The Bills are going to have to find a plug for the middle of the new 3-4, assuming Marcus Stroud can’t do it. He might fit better on the outside anyway. Joseph has the size, but is a bit of a project. 9 (168). BUF — Riley Cooper, WR, Florida Maybe Buffalo doesn’t wait this long to address the WR spot. But they will at some point considering TO and Josh Reed will likely be gone in 2010. Cooper is good value here and could surprise. 23 (182). BUF — Ryan D’Imperio, ILB, Rutgers He’s a tough, blue collar, guy that seems to be a good fit for Chan Gailey. He can play inside in the 3-4, and might end up a pleasant surprise after such a productive college career. They need to make sure they have plenty of pieces for the transition. 2 (193). BUF — Adrian Tracy, OLB, William and Mary The Bills hope that Aaron Maybin can become great in the 3-4, but it’s not a sure thing. Tracy is a great gamble in the seventh, and was ultra-productive in college. 9 (200). BUF — Chris Marinelli, OT, Stanford No reason not to add more competition and depth at the offensive tackle spot.
