I've been over this with Ennifer. Well, you know how it is talking to her. Like pulling teeth. Through a number of confounding context clues, my personal interpretation of the situation is that a life size promotional cardboard cut-out of Jim Carrey from "Liar Liar" fell on top of her at the movie's premiere. So moved was Ennifer by the film that she mistakenly remembers making love to him.

Sports arenas have a special penchant for taking already crappy songs and turning them into intolerable cliches. If I have to listen to Sweet Caroline (and the idiotic "BUM BUM BUM...SO GOOD SO GOOD SO GOOD" people who sing along) or Cotton Eye Joe one more goddamn time . And yes, this includes the Bills Shout Song. Had to be said.

Aside from RB and interior line where we already have All Pro caliber players, I won't be upset about drafting any position so long as the guy in question has a consistent track record of success at the collegiate level. People call RB, WR, CB "luxury picks". Not so. Every position is crucial in its own way. Just get a guy who has SHOWN proof positive that he can play. No more projects. No more hybrid types where you have to figure out where to plug them in. Can we get scholarly black guys?

That's an apt analogy. For both players, the two most common complaints (reasons to "hate" them) are a) They get all the calls and b) The media just looooves him. Guess what? Neither of those things is their fault!

Because in America, people have this bizarre need to be stimulated by something always and RIGHT NOW. Moments of internal thought are not encouraged. Think about it. There's a break in the game action. Your visual sense is no longer being entertained. If the stadium doesn't immediately jizz all over you with audible stimulus, you might have to do something radical like...I dont know, talk to the person in the seat next to you. The horror.

I don't want to see Spiller and McIntyre on the field simultaneously. If C.J. accidentally runs into Corey it could mean the end of his career.

I don't normally have much patience for Oliver Stone's directorial style but I liked Any Given Sunday, especially how it gave a 360 degree view of NFL football (the coaches, the players, team doctors, journalists, owners, etc.) And Al Pacino's speech is classic.

That's a good question. It hurt like hell when God slapped the ball out of Stevie's hands in OT vs. Pittsburgh, but in retrospect that's the type of loss you can live with...dust yourself off and move on. Today's loss...just a pathetic effort.

It's true that happiness tends to exist in relation to specific context rather than general context (ie. we assume that impoverished people spend each day miserable due to their poverty, when in reality they are nuanced beings who experience good days and bad days).
