  1. I have to admit that I'm on the EJ bandwagon because of the throws he's capable of making. How long did we wait for Fitz and Trent to hit those 20 yard outs and mid-range seams? That said, there are serious flaws in EJ's game. The absolute biggest one is that he has difficulty feeling pressure, and I think fumbles will be a bigger problem than INTs in the long run.
  2. Week 2 - Mario Williams Week 4 - Aaron Williams Week 7 - Mario Williams Week 11 - EJ Manuel Week 15 - ??? I really like what Robert Woods brought to the table today, so he gets my vote, though you'd probably have to say that AW and Gilmore saved the game.
  3. Not only that, but Kelly's numbers in this scenario are significantly better than EJ's. YPA, QB Rating and TD/INT ratio. And that was back when defenders were allowed to touch the QB and WRs too.
  4. And isn't New York going incrementally from $7.25 to $9.00?
  5. You can do this for every team. How did the Browns beat the Bengals?
  6. Exactly. I value my days off of work, and it baffles me that I threw away 3 of those waking hours when the game was pretty much decided in 3 minutes.
  7. I doubt that my facial expression changed during the game. Perhaps a raised eyebrow when Byrd got his pick...a knowing chuckle when Leodis fumbled. Then a brief existential crisis when I realized that I was watching the inevitable failure of other men when I could be climbing a mountain or learning to play chess.
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRIr9MNmCwU Seriously though, what a concerted team effort on the loss. Was there a single player who can hold his head high? Carpenter, I guess? You can say the defense played ok after the 1st quarter, but hey, points in the 1st quarter count too. Sheesh.
  9. Refs don't even know what's going on. 1st and 5 after that penalty, somehow.
  10. The Bills have turned the ball over 6 times in their last 40 minutes of play.
  11. You guys are in my thoughts. Stay strong.
  12. I think it's safe to say that these newlyweds were mentally ill. EDIT: Which isn't to say that mental illness excuses depraved behavior, but I find it difficult to accept these were two bored youngsters from the "normal' pool.
  13. That place sounds like a damn morgue. Sad.
  14. It really can't be overstated how much the QB position means. A good defense can be the difference between two teams with good QB play, but without the QB everything else is null.
  15. Jets are the worst team in the NFL right now.
  16. Well, you know what they say: If something works once, keep doing it until it's awful.
  17. Even though that game's relevant to the Bills, I think it'll be a really bad one to watch.
  18. Tough to say, especially since there hasn't been a defensive lineman amongst our inactives lately.
  19. I watched mcgloin throughout his career at Penn State. He never had a "wow" factor to his athleticism, but was a big time competitor and made huge throws. I have to admit that I'm shocked to see him as an NFL starter though.
  20. I'd prefer Joique over Choice because I basically see Choice as a poor man's Fred Jackson, whereas Bell would be a true change of pace.
  21. He'd be an upgrade over Choice for sure. Though Choice still does his job well.
  22. Where's that Flynn poster from last week? The 'nuff said guy. Jeff Tuel's game against KC was better than Flynn's against Detroit.
  23. This would've been a cool game to watch if the Packers had Aaron Rodgers available.
