Poyer elbow injury (update: “day-to-day”)
Alphadawg7 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah and toughest part of our schedule is behind us too, so we should be just fine if its just some games. -
But it was clear, doesn't matter what the OP said. There is indisputable video evidence of it hitting ground. Not sure why you think otherwise or why you think the refs needed to talk about it "longer", it was clear as day. If you want to take bad angle views of it where you cant see it as clearly, then I can't help anyone doing that. Live in the game they showed a clear angle that saw the ball change direction from tip hitting ground before Milanos hands were on ball. Its 100% indisputable. I have no idea why other people are trying to use still images from bad angles to confuse the matter. Its a waste of time and energy.

Agreed 100% on all this. If its just a reaggrivation of a hyper extension then I think we are good and he will some games but not the season. That is what I am hoping for. I was playing basketball and felt a big pop in my lower leg as I pushed off to chase a rebound and scared the hell out of me. Ended up just being my calf completely cramped and locked, and was fine in a couple weeks. So hopefully Poyers pop isnt too serious too -

Yeah, that Jaire Alexander INT Josh said he was just trying to dirt it and Jaire just made a great play. He said himself it was stupid, and sure next time he just chucks it out of bounds. Funny too, cuz first thing I said on that pick was that it certainly looked like he was just trying to dirt it. That is the difference between Allen and Rodgers...Allen takes 100% responsibility and never points fingers. Not afraid to call himself out on things like that. -

Are Bills fans expectations too high????

Judging by your thread, I would say expectations are clearly way to unrealistic. Fans seem to expect 60 minutes of absolute perfection. Its unreal how many negative threads, concerned threads, panic threads we get after wins. We are the over whelming favorite to not only make the SB, but win it. We are regarded by the masses as the best roster in football by most everyone. Allen is the clear front runner for MVP. We are the top seed in the AFC. Most recognize us as both the best offense and defense in the NFL. Yet here we are...a double digit win against the 2 time reigning MVP and people grossly over analyzing one half of football and posting all kinds of these threads on the board today. And, its after every win TBH. There are many people on this board who were calling for McD, Beane, and Frazier to be fired multiple times during THIS season in games we WON because we werent perfect to open a game. So yeah...this board or fan base is ridiculous with their hot takes pretty much all the time. -
It 100% hit the ground, its not even open for debate. They showed the correct camera angle in a replay in game where it was clear as day. Nobody on the Bills even protested and nether did Milano. People on the internet taking a still image at a different moment in time isn't going to change this. Not sure why people on the internet are trying to manufacturer this into something, there is indisputable evidence of it hitting the ground a split second before Milano got his hands on the ball off the bounce. Honestly I dont know what I am more surprised by...there is even a thread about it in the first place after winning by 2 scores...or that its gone on 4 pages.

Huh? So being regarded as the top team in the NFL, with the best defense and offense in the NFL means our coordinators are doing something wrong? We are not a power running team. Why do fans want us so badly to take the ball out of the hands of our best player and force us to be a completely different offense than we are? I agree, they need to be more consistent with using Devin, but we were not getting the same results running the in the second half either. The WHOLE offense was just out of sync and the Packers D was stepping up and made good adjustments. We win by 10 still. But here we are with all kinds of panic or upset threads after yet another win. It’s like Bills fans expect absolute perfection all 60 minutes of every game and anything other than that is doom and gloom.

We need to start using Cook a lot more and just let Cook Cook!!!
Alphadawg7 replied to Toyo321's topic in The Stadium Wall
While I agree be good to get him involved more, they need to give Devin more consistent work. We keep going heavy Devin to open a game where he is doing great, then like clockwork they pull him from the game plan. -
Are we ever going to have a win where there aren’t threads of people melting down in a panic?

Sammy Watkins says Buffalo Bills are still his team
Alphadawg7 replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
Of course he’s fond of it. It’s the only time in his career that he mattered to a team or fans lol. It’s also the only time where he actually cared about playing football because he hadn’t gotten his big payday yet. -
If I am the Bills, I have my eyes on two players and would honestly be trying to get them both... Trade for Hunt and then sign OBJ. I am a big believer in Devin, but Hunt is a top 5 RB as a full time starter. He is a true 3 down RB who is a great runner and receiver but can also pickup tough yards between the tackles. Him as the lead and Devin rotating in would an excellent 1-2 punch. OBJ is depth and insurance and even if not full speed, is at least better than McKenzie or Kumerow. I would bring both in because both help our football team, but more importantly, we would also be keeping them from a team we might face in the playoffs or Super Bowl. But let me be clear...and I am supremely confident in our team as is. I do not think we MUST make these moves, or any moves. This is more about how both these trades makes sense in both helping our roster be even better and prevents competitors for the SB this year from getting better.

I think ultimately its going to be SF if they are healthy in the playoffs. They have been crushed by injuries this year, especially on defense. Some are out for the season, but most are back now plus as the seasons grows they will get CMC heavily involved. He looked real good in the limited touches he had last week without even knowing the offense. Once they transition into CMC being up to speed and taking the majority of the snaps, he will be a big player for them. But, both the D and CMC are going to need to be healthy in the playoffs, and given their injury history in SF the last couple years and the injury history of CMC, that is certainly a wild card right now.
-
Fixed it for you...cuz you forgot about the Chiefs who are the 2nd best team. So whoever makes it from the NFC will be the 3rd best team because Bills and Chiefs are 1 and 2 right now in the NFL. Both teams would be favored over any NFC team in the SB right now if it was played today.

[Name Only Title] Kareem Hunt ??????????????????
Alphadawg7 replied to Paul Costa's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh stop dude. You’re just being ridiculous now. I didn’t “stan” for Araiza, I elected to not rush to a decision based on literally no real info being known or confirmed yet at that time. With Hunt, people make mistakes. I believe in second chances and he has excelled with his second chance and put all this behind him. -

Come on, you know perfectly well physicality with women is a different discussion than physicality with men. -

He got into 2 MALE altercations. So I would caution you to be VERY clear to qualify that because your make it sound like it was 3 altercations with women, which it was NOT. None of the altercations had anything to do with sex, romance, or domestic violence. He reacted poorly to a woman calling him the N word, it triggered him after she had already been causing problems for a while inside the room with Hunts girlfriend and their guests by refusing to leave after they discovered she wasn't 21 and couldn't drink with them. Hunt admitted to struggling to deal with his anger issues back then and went out and did the work to fix that. And has been squeaky clean since then and everyone around him raves about his character. When I grew up, I was raised in Stockton and we didn't even call it a "party" until a fight broke out, otherwise it was just a small gathering. And no, I wasn't one of the people getting into fights, but I had plenty of friends that did. Those guys all went on to grow out of that young bravado phase where you had to react and prove yourself if someone "disrespected" you. People mature, people grow up. Sometimes it takes really messing up to open your eyes that there is even an issue in the first place when you grew up a certain way your whole life. -

Because so many people in here have the whole incident wrong and treating it like it was domestic violence. -
I wouldn't overlook this move, and I wouldn't just blanketly say Toney is a bust. Toney played on horrific offenses with a horrific QB prior to this year. And he has battled some injuries. To just say he can't succeed or be dangerous now in a terrific situation in KC, is very premature. It was a lot to risk on him, sure. But this trade could really help the Chiefs. When they lost Hill, it took 2 things away...a guy who can stretch the defense but also that quick strike YAC weapons that Mahomes uses so well. Toney can help fill those voids. So...yeah, I wouldn't be so quick to mock this move. If Toney can stay healthy and available, he can really help that offense because he doesn't have to replicate Hills production with all the other weapons they have. But his presence and threat over the top and underneath on those short strikes for YAC is going to make the Chiefs harder to defend. I think this trade helps the Chiefs more than the Quinn trade helped the Eagles.
