Why is it so hard for fans to admit reality?
BuffaloBill replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sometimes talented teams win ugly. The problem with the Bills this year is that they also lose ugly. -
and I thought my family was messed up….

You should try Lutenitsa. It’s a basic Bulgarian sauce containing roasted tomatoes, red peppers and eggplant. My favorite Lutenitsa recipe I actually like it better than traditional spaghettis sauce on pasta even though I assume in Bulgaria that would be considered an improper use of it. I am a little surprised this is not big around Buffalo given the historical ties to eastern Europe.

While I find it difficult to argue your points, it took a new offensive coordinator to put the pieces together. All of the player talent matters little when the scheme and or play calls make them over reach. With all of that said, remember that an advantage that joe Brady has right now is the fact that the league does not have a ton of game tape on him. The NFL is very good about breaking teams down to identify tendencies and weaknesses. I believe it is part of the reason why Mahomes and the Chiefs look a bit pedestrian right now. Let’s hope Brady can continue to work his magic.

This kid will likely get bigger - how long before there is a 400 lb offensive lineman in college or the pros?

Do you have any Bills-themed Christmas decorations??
BuffaloBill replied to Special K's topic in Off the Wall
Have a couple of Bill ornaments and a Bills Santa hat. -
Well, the bright side is that you can now rule out morning sickness and 21 years of child rearing. May she recover quickly.

No doubt PFF gets its fair share of skepticism here and it may well be deserved. However, they are helping to confirm what many Bills fans can see via eye tests. They have stolen an excellent CB and who fits like a sleek glove into their scheme.

NFL Provides Timeline on Release of Salary Cap Details, per Report
BuffaloBill replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
No doubt there will be whispered projections. The Bills need for there to be a healthy jump. -
I thought maybe he was going to try to get rid of his wife and kids…..

You forget he has had to work within the existing framework of the installed offense. At the juncture of the season he was named he, would not be able to make wholesale changes to the offense. I am not ready to anoint him as the replacement just yet either. However, he is making a good case for the job.

Bills Hire DJ Mangas as Offensive Assistant
BuffaloBill replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe an early indicator that Brady will go from interim to named OC. Brady is trending in this direction. -
It’s really hard to say based on the leverage. It’s painful to watch because it was there for the taking.

This was a surprise find and a very good movie. Stunning ending.

Yep, adult toys will help McDonalds reach their sales goals.

This is a team sport and there is plenty of blame to go around. The net is that the Bills have not this season, played up to the strength of their QB or roster. They now sit in a position where missing the playoffs is a very real probable outcome. It’s an absolutely abysmal outcome for a season that could have been much better.

It used to be that the best RB was taken at or very near the top of the draft. The QB was expected to hand off most of the time and occasionally throw. Generally only 2 WR’s on the field and there was a big blocking FB. Now, the NFL features 3 WR’s, no FB’s (to speak of), pass catching RB’s and TE’s that play more like WR’s. All this to feature the QB’s arm, football I.Q. and running talent. Which era was better? In my book it was when you had a mix of both: Kelly & Thurman Aikmen & Smith Montana & Craig Manning & Faulk (& James) Staubach & Dorsett Bradshaw & Harris
