BuffaloBill replied to Warcodered's topic in The Stadium Wall
Certainly true for the back end. Bernard has also done an excellent job. -

Hive Mind Theory Explains Bills' Recent Performances

This thread is a stinger …… -
Yep, I expected the position too be a problem area for the Bills. Bernard has been a huge upgrade.

The Bills D is ascending at the right time.

Rapp has brought attitude to the D. -
Have o remember this is still Dorsey’s offense as Brady can’t install a whole new system midseason. I don’t know if Brady is the answer but he has done better than Dorsey.

https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-points-per-game https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2023/opp.htm Under McDermott the Bills have lost (DQ is partially back) the key player(s) at each level of the D in 2023. Still, the Bills are playing excellent D and I would argue, without great complimentary football as the O has been very inconsistent this year. I know many here are down on McDermott but he does deserve credit as the D has been an absolutely pleasant surprise this year. The other very honorable mention here is that Rasul Douglas may well be the best pickup trade ever by the Bills. Credit to him and to the Bills coaching staff. McDermott is a secondary whisperer. Hell even Austin looked good for the Cheats*. Let’s hope the offense finds a gear in Miami. The D has found theirs.

This concerns me more than their point scoring offense. Josh tends not to play well in dink and dunk games. Having said this, he does seem to have more patience as the season goes on so who knows? The Bills D is also coming together at the right time.

Von INACTIVE vs Patriots, Coach's Decision
BuffaloBill replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Probably means Espinosa is available -
The Bills should be sharp in this one given what is in play. However, the key will be ball security. The Bills have been terrible at it in some games. They were lucky to escape LA Chargers with a win given this issue. The key is Josh not being overly reliant on his arm like he was with the pass to Diggs downfield in LA game that was picked off. Same goes for Cook. A great back but he must watch second efforts and ball security.

Nothing specific stands out though it is funny to look back and think about the doomsday mentality of the era.

Did anyone get a lump in their throats...

I was in panic mode the entire play. -
My dream is that the fins lose to both Dallas and Baltimore. Then the Bills can sit out key players in the final week.
