‘Bye, Bye Barry’ (Sanders) documentary released on prime video
BuffaloBill replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
One dimensional team. It would be tough in any era for the RB to carry the team load alone in the playoffs. His QB’s were: Rodney Peete, Bob Gagliano, Andre Ware, Erik Kramer, Dave Krieg, Scott Mitchell and Charlie Batch.- 71 replies

https://www.amazon.com/Bye-Barry-Sanders/dp/B0CGP3QJYH?nodl=1&dplnkId=1c2ba690-009a-431f-9f51-b14972e47f1c I have not watched it yet but Prime has just released a documentary on Barry Sanders. In my book he is the best pure running back to play the game. I could watch his highlight clips all day. It’s so sad that his career was wasted in a bad to middling Detroit franchise.

Yep, this place has a very strong negative bias. (Probably true of all similar boards). It gets tiresome. In a weird way, this place was more interesting and fun during the drought years. At least then you would get a mix of hope and disappointment. Now there is a huge overlay of winning expectations that that seems to be making people responsively negative as their expectations are not met.

Eagles release veteran LT...kick the tires?
BuffaloBill replied to Mr. WEO's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not so much in the run game. They have not been horrible but could be better in the run game. -
Choosing what you will eat is a very personal choice. It may depend on your mood, your cravings, your budget and a myriad of other factors. How do you handle the order at your favorite place? I tend to order the same thing. However, this is not always the case, as I will listen to the specials and sometime order one. It may also depend on where I am as “favorites” are often different by city. I used to travel a lot for business and I would often seek out unique ethnic places in the city I was in. For example I had a favorite Peking duck place in Vancouver. I might not order Peking duck elsewhere. There is a whole science to how people order and how restaurants construct their menus. How does this play into your ordering game?

Is a future move to Safety possible for Tre White??
BuffaloBill replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s also too small so he won’t take on big backs like sometimes you need to do as a safety. -
happens all the time … does it not?

If Josh does not find some way to cut down on the turnovers he will likely continue to be both a Bills game killer and may even severely stain his career. Josh is no doubt a first ballot HOF talent. Josh also has the talent to win multiple Lombardi’s Whether he achieves these outcomes may largely depend on his ability to cut down on the turnovers. In the Bills losses this year Josh has been a turnover factory. yes, batted balls, strips and the like are not always his “fault.” However, the statistics don’t lie. Josh is boom or bust and lately he has been far more prone to bust. We as fans will have zero impact here. However, I wonder if Brady as a new OC will literally and figuratively help Josh get a handle on the situation. Josh has turned around weaknesses in his game in many ways. Turnovers now remain the last most obvious hurdle where he needs to do so. As a contrarian point, Josh is not among the worst at interception % among the all time “greats.” It’s apples and oranges due to the prevalence of the pass game in the modern era but on a straight up % Jim Kelly and Dan Marino were worse. For a better comparison to “modern era” QB’s Aaron Rogers is far better (and can be a gunslinger). https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_int_perc_career.htm Your thoughts?

Do you think the Bills brass and coaches read this forum ??
BuffaloBill replied to arcadia bob's topic in The Stadium Wall
I highly doubt anyone high in the Bills food chain reads here. There is probably somebody in marketing / PR team that does. Why not? It’s free feedback for the Bills. I highly doubt there is no it much discussed here that would come as a surprise to the Bills anyway. -
Remember that Josh was (maybe is no longer?) a Dorsey supporter. I think the Dorsey firing may be a message to Josh also. Hard to say because josh is Josh and no coach will ever take the gunslinger out of him. The question is goes Brady have the hutzpah and ability to work with this? Dabol seemed to be able to do so. The other major issue is that Dorsey seemed to have no creativity with the run game. I would say the same was true with Dabol. One way to mak Josh better is to give him the threat of a run game. This will likely mean moving him back under center more and playing RPO less. I know it is a completely different era of football but Jim Kelly does not achieve what he did without Thurman. In the modern era Josh needs to develop trust with his running backs as does the team. We will not return to the bell cow RB situation but opposing teams need to perceive there is at least the threat of Buffalo running the ball.

is there a HC out there worth going after?
BuffaloBill replied to dbfla10's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just pure speculation but i think Dabol may have worn out his welcome in Buffalo. -
Greg Buck captures Bills “fans only” meeting
BuffaloBill replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
Amen^^^ ”some people’s want Marv Levy back to coach….. He’s 98 years old. …..” That was awesome …. -
I think it has more to do with RPO … on RPO plays Josh is far more often likely to keep the ball. Maybe Cook was playing it slow soft to let Josh keep it……

This article suggests there has been continuing interest in him from other teams. Story suggests he climbed too quickly. Maybe he learned some things to not repeat from his Carolina days. https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/news/joe-brady-is-receiving-interest-for-offensive-coordinator-jobs
