  1. I think that has a lot to do with it. Rex really prefers to play bump and run man coverage, and now he has three corners who can do it (Gilmore, McKelvin and Darby)
  2. I'm not sure why we'd freak out. Again, these are optional workouts to try to get things clicking before Minicamp and training camp. ...well, other than the fact that I want to see every throw, run, catch and block. FEED MY OBSESSION REX!
  3. Don't get me wrong, empathy is not a zero sum game, and I can care about animals but Jesus this guy was an SOB beforehand
  4. I guess it was Tuel's time. There, one last joke in the send off
  5. What I can't believe is this is what might end his career, rather than the fact that he sexually aassaulted a woman, and in the aftermath she committed sucide.
  6. If wishes were horses we'd all be eating steak!
  7. I know! Especially after the immediate impact felt by fellow fourth round picks Easley, Seacry, Bradham and Duke Williams! A fourth round pick not immediately producing after one season? Bust! Kim is cheap!
  8. *wince* You had to remind me of that, didn't you.
  9. I'm a fan of the Big Nickel as well. With all the spread offense, and running out of the shotgun and pistol, and dynamic TE's. Bucky Brooks did a great article on it. Graham is in that perfect middle ground where he can play like a CB or safety when called for either, which can mean that Rex can play mixed zone and man on given plays to screw with offenses.
  10. That *is* new. Last I checked, Graham was insistent that he was a CB first. Still, I welcome the move. He really seems best suited to be our starting FS.
  11. I'm pretty high on Karlos. I like what I've seen of his tape, so it's good to hear he has some positive signs at the next level.
  12. I'm not sure how that's glorious. Still, I'll take average to mediocre QB play at this point.
  13. I know I'm overanalyzing it, but man, Tyrod's accuracy issues have not been over stated.
  14. I agree with a lot of people that I'm happy to see this. I love Graham. He was the most consistently good CB last year. But his skill sets (great ball skills, great at reading the QB and his anticipation ) coupled with his biggest weakness (his speed) make him a natural fit there. I don't see any problems with having a DB Corp deep enough that our starting safeties can cycle to CB without missing a beat.
  15. He's admitted that he wasn't in the best shape at the start of last year. Here's hoping that being forced to ride the pine means that he's ready to live up to his potential this year. The nice thing about Roman and our Tackle situation is that he can absolutely put 3 tackles on the field at once. (Balco sets)
  16. How does it effect people who retweet what actual reporters say?
  17. Even of he is, which I think a lot of people might contest, you can argue that he makes the 2nd of the 2 TE sets Roman likes to run.
  18. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Dareus. I'm not sure he's better than Kyle AND Mario AND Shady. He will be missed, but it's not the end of the world.
  19. I was more worried about this before we signed Carrington. Between him, Charles, Kyle, Hughes and Mario I think they can hold it down for one game.
  20. It's a good read. Revis is actually rather well spoken and consistent. Of note is his calling out the NFLPA for squaking about Goddell's power when they're the ones who voted them in and that the punishment should be applied regardless of your importance to the franchise.
  21. I know it's way too early to make a call, but when I hear snippets from press conferences, they seem to keep stressing that TT is in the thick of it. Most national writers have been spinning it was EJ vs Cassel, but I have a sneaking feeling that I can't explain telling that Tyrod is going to take it. Maybe it's just me reading too much into it, but that's the vibe I get.
  22. The fact that they're unsure if he's joking is probably looked at some formations he drew up. I seem to recall 7 OL, 1 TE formations popping up.
  23. It's too bad, since he has potential, and he wasn't as bad as people made him out to be. That said, when you have McCoy, Freddy, Boobie as established vets and now Karlos as a promising rookie project he needed to bring his A game. So far he simply hasn't.
  24. True, but that was during a draft, where they were able to immediately spin that into a player. This would be waiting a whole season to potentially cash in on a mid to late round pick, while eating dead cap.
  25. But...but...ESPN printed an article based on the comments of a local news outlet sports guy that were discussing conjecture by a newspaper writer! Who is the "Greg Roman", and who are his sources?
