  1. Look, this was an ugly win. UG. LEE. But after going through a wasteland of blown games, I decided long ago that the ugliest win is a hell of a lot better than the prettiest "moral victories" where we played a superior team tough. We beat the Patriots. We beat a Bellicheck coached Pats team, playing with their starting QB, who played the Seahawks close, beat the Raiders, and has been playing a slew of good teams. We deserve the win. That it's ugly and that we have issues are not a shocker, but let's deal with it looking at next week. GO BILLS!
  2. Ooooof I turned it off and was freaking out. We have been on the wrong side of this kind of game too many times. Excuse me, I need some Xanex
  3. I couldn't watch. You're welcome for me stopping my jinx
  4. He's also not what we need for this game. He's a pass rushing gap shooter, in a week when we badly, BADLY need someone who can fill holes. He's great for most modern NFL offenses, but the Pats are going for bully ball.
  5. Makes sense. The Pats can only seem to win when they can run all over people. I think MeDermott and Frazier want to try to jam the line as much as possible and force Cam to make throws.
  6. We might be considerably better than last year and have fewer wins in the regular season. Of course, what matters is what happens in the playoffs
  7. It does make me scratch my head when the Pats have their outbreaks mostly contained (outside, you know, two of their best players) but keep getting postponements. Meanwhile, despite Tennessee being a plague ship and still unable to open their facilities, putting their ability to host games in jeopardy, it's full steam ahead.
  8. Metaphorically. Only Phillip Rivers needs it literally
  9. Do we have any update at all about the Titans game? I know another test means that they still can't open their facilities. We are getting rather close to "poop or get off the pot" time here to even know if we can play at their stadium. The idea of making them play at a neutral site and a neutered roster is growing on me.
  10. I mean, it works great for me, but that's because my work schedule is stupid. 5 pm EST is 4 pm CST, which makes it terrible for the Chiefs fans. I can't believe the NFL would put it on this time, but not just say "screw it, the Titans brought this upon themselves"
  11. Wasn't going to stop them from making up play tuesday and then sunday
  12. I'm actually ok with a 6 pm Tuesday game. I can actually watch it
  13. Hey, they are free to look at practice squads. Make them pick up some street free agents
  14. I don't want the Bills traveling to that plague house. I don't see how you DON'T reschedule, because this is even worse than last week. Not the Bills problem. They followed the rules
  15. Exactly my thoughts. I still think they should reschedule
  16. You don't need to know. What you have is a quarter of the team violating the rules and potentially spreading infection. No way this game happens Sunday
  17. And that's it. You don't come down on this it encourages the next one
  18. Yeah there's a big big biiiiig difference between "oh no, despite our best efforts a highly infectious disease hit us" and "whoopsies we blatantly violated a rule while already under scrutiny" Teams are going to have cases without a bubble. I'm fine for rescheduling due to acts of nature, like when we have blizzards or hurricanes. But this would just be due to reckless indifference
  19. I am going to go on record here and say that, if this is true and they violated protocol to practice together when they were told not to, I want the Titans to forfeit. I doubt McDermott would allow something like that, but we'd deserve it if it the situation was reversed. It's not just risking themselves and their teammates, but the staff, their families...and the Bills! Even if there wind up being no fatalities this is now a scheduling and logistical nightmare.Throw the book at them!
  20. I'm more scared of the Dolphins going forward than I am Houston. That's how bad BOB is.
  21. I was listening to Cover 1 and they made a really good point: they kept faking the jet sweep for a ton of the game as window dressing. Eventually, the Raiders stopped biting so they kept the play in their back pocket until they needed it. Where did Daboll get the idea? The Bills had just gotten burned on it last week with all the sweeps to Woods.
  22. I mean, if they violated protocols can we take it as a forfeit?
