  1. Is using an expired license that big of a deal? Did it have a picture on it that looked like her? How old was the license? On a separate note, I boarded a plan a couple of years ago with no license. In a rush to make an early flight for my grandfather's funeral I had left my wallet at home. TSA agents were able to do some background screening via phone and I was able to board the plane eventually.
  2. and...dude, having an amphibious rodent... within the city limits... that ain't legal either.
  3. I don't see any mention of a hospital visit in the CBS link. It implies she immediately returned to the hotel, then flew home.
  4. I think the hockey players have the huge advantage here. How many guys on the Bills roster can even stand on skates?
  5. This is my primary complaint. If Lalime is going to be on the team, they need to trust him enough to spell Miller at least in the occasional back to back game. If they need to call up someone from Portland for that reason, it's a farce having him on the team, and if they don't want Enroth sitting (which I completely understand), then they should go out and pick up another goalie.
  6. Probably the same reason he's not getting time on Defense, because he's not one of the best 11 available.
  7. The only vehicles allowed on the road should either be: 1. Driven by me. 2. Ambulances. Maybe I've been in NJ too long.
  8. No it's more sensible to make a 5 gallon jug of syrup, and carbonate it yourself.
  9. I saw someone use "Abrohmination" in a thread today, and was thinking about some of my favorite Bills nicknames of all time. What were yours? I'll start with House Ballard.
  10. I don't understand why Lalime is still on this team. We need a Goalie who can step in now and then and not be terrible. They're not that hard to find. The only thing I can think is that they're not going to make any moves until Pegula takes over.
  11. My first "real" job was working in a recording studio (after 4 years in college and a B.Sc. in Sound Recording Technology.) $5.15 an hour, plus paid health benefits (so it does count, I'm assuming.) Of course, I was often working 100+ hour weeks, and did get paid time and a half for anything over 40 hours, but there were other weeks I didn't work at all. In the end, it was very difficult to make ends meet on this wage in NYC. This was in 2002, and I ended up racking up $10,000 in credit card debt in two years, then finding a better paying and more steady job in 2005.
  12. This really deserves its own thread.
  13. Well she is being brought to court. That's the point of the article.
  14. Thanks, but he doesn't need any advice.
  15. Well, you can't teach hands. You can teach film study, route running, etc.... A lot of pitching coaches are former catchers, which makes sense because the catcher tends to be in an in-game pitching coach. Just like a good QB should be coaching up his WRs in game.
  16. It seems to me that in Indy the WR Coach might actually be the more important position, as Peyton is probably largely independent at this point in his career. Especially considering the turnover they've had at the WR position. Frank can teach these young guys what a QB is expecting (e.g. route running) and I would bet he'll excel at it.
  17. Don't forget Angels and Fuselage. Chad Price (Drag the River singer) has an amazing voice. If you like it, check out some of his work with the band "All" (which is completely different - basically metal.) Start with "Pummel".
  18. Well, legally, she's not old enough to be in a Manhattan club on her own.
  19. Your misunderstanding of "slave labor" is astounding.
  20. It probably just had to do with being in on a certain # of plays or a certain % of plays.
  21. If Fairley is still available at #3 we could switch him to RB. The Freezer. Sarcasm.
