  1. But if you stick ice picks in your eyes you can still hear them.
  2. This would be a coup for Cleveland, although one has to assume he won't be long for the DC job if he continues getting HC'ing interviews: Jason La Canfora ‏@JasonLaCanfora Just going to reiterate what I first reported earlier tonight. still sounds like Todd Bowles ends up in AZ and Ray Horton ends up in CLE
  3. Why do hackers upload computer viruses? Power trip, maybe?
  4. Worst case scenario, he has the 2nd best season in his career.
  5. Is Choice still under contract? Regardless, he's almost certainly gone.
  6. At the New Year's Day Russ/Prez announcement, Whaley did say something to the effect of "Chandler is a nice player, but we can do something there", implying the potential for an upgrade at TE.
  7. I'm surprised Horton didn't get one of the 8 HC vacancies, but not so much Lovie and certainly not Crennel.
  8. 2nd time Arians has replaced Whisenhunt. The Cardinals have now matched us for hiring former Steelers Offensive Coordinators as HC.
  9. ESPN Stats & Info ‏@ESPNStatsInfo Per @JRC_ request-- top 4 in highest % underthrown/overthrown passes- Freeman (24%), Fitzpatrick (22%), Newton (22%), Mark Sanchez (22%) ESPN Stats & Info ‏@ESPNStatsInfo Lowest % of overthrown/underthrown passes this season- Colin Kaepernick (13%), Matt Ryan (14%), Drew Brees (14%)
  10. Imagine--- if his head was on straight from the beginning, he could possibly still be playing in the NFL. How he squandered the incredible opportunity in front of him is stunning.
  11. Ronaiah Tuiasosopo auditioned for The Voice: http://deadspin.com/5976952/us-weekly-teo-hoaxer-ronaiah-tuiasosopo-auditioned-for-the-voice-and-had-a-sob-story-about-a-car-accident "He had this insane sob story before [he sang]," an insider reveals to Us. "It would make for great TV."According to the source, Tuiasosopo told producers he and his cousins started a Christian band together and were on their way to perform at a youth conference in Nevada when they got into a "massive" car accident. He claimed a truck crashed into their vehicle, sending them flip-flopping all over the freeway. He also said doctors thought one of them might have been brain-dead, but miraculously, everyone was fine.
  12. I think that's essentially what NoSaint said-- they want it and they are negotiating for it. Not that they have it. From your link: Dan Wolken @DanWolken ESPN spokesman says they are pursuing Te'o interview like every other media outlet. So, appears nothing scheduled as of this moment.
  13. I wasn't completely against hiring Lovie (and for exactly the reasons you cited), but what do you think it says about him that, with all the coaching vacancies this offseason, he is still without a job? The 2013 NFL Head Coaching Search could easily be subtitled: The New Class. So-called "retreads" are clearly trending downward.
  14. That's what she said. Hi-yo!!!
  15. Scott Radecic works for Populous?? That's wild: John Murphy ‏@JohnMurphyShow An in-depth explanaton of #Bills stadium renovation plans with Scott Radecic of @Populous tonight at 8pm
  16. Some teams will write him off. Year after year, players are written off come draft time by teams for reasons that are arguably less substantial. The media attention, possible ribbing by opponents on the field, etc. Even if he provides convincing evidence, there are legitimate reasons a GM or coach might not want Te'o on their team. I don't doubt that if he can clear things up a bit by providing some proof, he could still be drafted in the 1st round.
  17. Donald J. Trump ‏@realDonaldTrump Congratulations to Tom Scocca and Timothy Burke of @Deadspin for exposing the Manti Te’o fiasco. Deadspin ‏@Deadspin @realDonaldTrump Go !@#$ yourself.
  18. Zach Braziller ‏@NYPost_Brazille John Anselmo has signed a contract as an assistant coach with the Bills, per a source. Huge loss for Syracuse and NYC football.
  19. Of course. It's noteworthy that some already don't give him the benefit of the doubt. It'll be hard to shake that stigma for many teams, regardless of the truth.
  20. Matt Miller ‏@nfldraftscout NFL exec. this morning, "We'll draft criminals, but lie to my face and you're off our board." Some don't believe Te'o's story.
  21. A few details from the Bills---- Populous is doing the renovation: http://www.buffalobi...89-6f6314b1dd85 Improvements to Ralph Wilson Stadium will be done in phases. The initial design phase has already begun, with some site and building improvements to be completed prior to the 2013 season. The majority of renovations will be completed the following year, 2014, with some renovations extending into the 2015 offseason.
  22. Plans being presented to the legislature and media today: http://www.buffalobills.com/media-center/photo-gallery/Stadium-Renovation-Renderings/f880b12e-c166-4ed6-9660-223cc9dde508#cf220cee-7bb3-4f88-992d-ea931c5f4416
  23. Pat Forde ‏@YahooForde I've been told by two people that ESPN's Jeremy Schaap will conduct the Manti Te'o interview. Jeremy is an excellent reporter.
  24. This was already discussed on pages 19 and 20--- it's likely not real:
  25. http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/college-football/story/_/id/8849887/usc-trojans-scuffle-following-bowl-defeat-sources-say Multiple sources told ESPN that a "flat-out brawl" transpired when one of the team's younger players began "bad-mouthing Matt Barkley." The player questioned why the injured quarterback did not play and challenged USC's collective senior leadership in the room.
