  1. In September I kiss my wife goodbye and head up into my sports room. I come back down in February for supplies and such. Pretty much that whole time I'm watching football. Incidentally I head right back up for the month of March and its madness before finally emerging for good in mid early April. Go Bills
  2. Remember that game could be played on either Saturday or Sunday
  3. I've been told that a lot through my life, for various reasons. For better or for worse 🤔
  4. I might be an interesting case. I know which players play where but not as much on back stories. Some but not all. I might even miss one or two starters when going through the line up. I can say however I've missed one single game since the 87 season, the Saints game the day I got married on Sept 27th, 2009. I also have an excellent memmory for games and moments. Without looking it up I can tell you final score of any Bills playoff game, ever. Part of the reason I love board member corta765's "Game defining moments" I can litterally see and remember all the moments that are written up. Whish those write ups would go back further. I've always been in the know on players, positions and such to a pretty good degree. But my fanatiscm is tied into games, moments and the uniform. I love to read old box scores and game recaps. the "relentless book" was a god send in the days before the internet and Pro Football Ref.com. I don't think the "average" fan could hold their own against me in game and moment specific Bills history trivia. GO BILLS
  5. The heck with summer, get me to football!
  6. Whos gettimg cancelled? I just hear about masks or not. Go Bills! I'll be there! Go 🍊
  7. I saw that earlier. Obviously I think its a great write up. Go Bills
  8. Ditto. You weren't alone brother.
  9. That Cleveland game ended my four your stint as a season ticket holder (29 straight games, the Miami game on x mas eve i couldnt make, went to folks in ADKs). I remeber it being a wet and miserable day and having a somber feeling on the way back to Rochester. I've been to many games since but never as a STH. It was a great run. I remeber all these games and the days that surrounded them so well. I cant remeber where I put my keys anymore but a 3rd down play in a Bills game 5 years ago? No problem!
  10. I stay away from NFLN mostly, she looks like that girl from sapranos that got shot in the woods, tonys nephews girl or something (i didnt watch that show much either)
  11. I was 16 and remeber this gamenlike it was yesterday. 51-3 has to be the best of the AFC title games but this one was right up there. To beat Miami, like that in their house. They had to believe it was their time to finally get past us and we systematically choked them out. In the regular season they had crushed us in Buffalo 37-10, while we snuck by 26-20 in Miami. Once again thanks Chandler. This stuff is gold to me
  12. I mean the Bucs were and 11-5 wildcard team. They got hot at the right time and had a little luck in the playoffs. They were not some super power that went 15-1. People seem to forget that.
  13. Arguably the best Bills receiver of all time (if he had a consistent qb) Still wear my ugly early 2000's Moulds jersey with pride. Loved that guy. If anyone hasn't they should check out his highlights on youtube, they have one for every TD Moulds had as a Bill. Even I had forgotten how spectacular he was.
  14. I don't know how rare it is but I have a stitched home TO jersey. Couldn't pass it up on Ebay for $35; to add to the collection. Incidentally I wore it for the Colts playoff game so that jersey is 1-0 in the playoffs
  15. Corta you should consider saving these recaps and attach boxscores, etc. to them. Maybe throw a drought area "relentless" type book together. It would sell. But that's also a lot of work.
  16. This season was right in the middle of my season ticket run. I could sit down and have a conversation about anyone of these games. The Green Bay game stands out for obvious reasons; but I have a fun memory from that game. There were 4 of us in our group and the last home game, biggest game of the season one of the guys in our group decides to invite his wife and her two sisters. They have to buy tickets a few aisles to the right of our normal 329. Buddy with wife says "Don't worry, I got you covered. I have a friend who can take the ticket but you might have to squeeze his father in too." Sunday at 8am in the Hammer lot we find out his buddy and buddy's father are Packer fans. The real deal. UGH we all thought. Also pissed the buddy with the wife never mentioned this. As the day played out however the Packer fan and his dad were cool as hell knowledgeable football fans. Meanwhile my buddy, his wife and sisters found themselves surrounded by a group of rowdy Packer fans (next to, front and behind) who not once, but twice spilled beer all over him. Justice. Bills win. Great great day. Then the next week we get and early lead on the Raiders with a NE team next who will likely pack it in.....It was fun while it lasted, first time we had hope that late into a season in a long time.
  17. As always just an excellent job. I remember all of these moments like yesterday when I read them, but I could not come up with them all just looking back. Curious as to your research? The NFL season yearbooks? Pro football reference website? Or are you just an elephant?
  18. I think it was something they experimented with for a couple years before ditching it.
  19. And yet, every now and then I wish I could go back to the dark ages. 30 minute pregame shows, the 80s announcers, not being glued to a cell phone, no FF to distract me, running to the store for the preseason mags, Shout! news paper, etc. I wouldnt want to stay there but damn I'd like to visit once in a while.
  20. First I love how you post these and your season recaps. Second I was just watching this game last night after a couple or more drinks. Just love this stuff, brings me back to my childhood in a way only late 80s football can.
  21. Still would have loved the win though 😀 this was the third to last game I can remeber crying after. I was 12. The Ronnie Harmon drop and Norwood got me the next two years also:-(
  22. Ditto. Love the old 80s announce teams and pregame shows.
