  1. I'm more partial to checking out the Big Ben montage: 184 sacks for 1199 yards.
  2. 2006 Jets only made the playoffs because of a sir, Robert Royal. And if you overlook Parcells' effort in Miami than I can't trust your ideas as far as I can throw them.
  3. I'm not your guy, pal.
  4. 1.21 gigawatts? Great Scott!
  5. I'm aware of those two things...but it's not happening... Those are two rare occurrences: Parcells, and Favre. Our only hope is to emulate the happening in Atlanta...But even that is a stretch.
  6. Sure he did. Barry Sanders, Walter Peyton, OJ Simpson, Emmit Smith, Thurman Thomas, and Gale Sayers. Oh, do I ever remember that one time back in...oh what was it? '85? When Brett Favre called that draw play at the line and let Peyton just tear through the Patriots line? Those were the days man.
  7. I get what you're saying, and it makes sense: pointing out our problem. What I'm trying to relay to you is a combination of two things: One, this will not happen because as proven by the Buffalo Bills franchise we do not bring in the premier coordinators aroudn the league to serve as the head coach. We find Tennessee's defensive coordinator after a decent year...or Pittsburgh's offensive coordinator after a year when the answer for them was trick plays and hand-offs to Bettis. I see what you're gunning for, but I'm sticking by my opinion that your regime is nothing more than a fantasy. We're never getting Crennel and Nolan when we we're telling you right now we're content with upgrading from Fairchild to Schonert. We're only going to make parallel, cost effective leaps. Secondly, The Buffalo Bills have more issues than coaching. I get it, we suck at challenges, and we never ever ever ever rush up to the line with a play because our coaches look confused. What you're asking for is to re-gut the entire system, and the way our fans are right now, it's probably better to stick with our system and sqeeze into the playoffs in the next two years, than if we re-gut it and have to wait another three, by which point the fans will abandon entirely and refuse to continue on. Honestly, unless you can prove me personnel changes can bring immediate results, I say !@#$ it...we're stuck with this team and coach, and I would rather give Jauron another go before we get another unproven sack of sh*t to re-!@#$ up the whole system. I really do like what you're saying, and wish it were true. But I'm trying to bring along the burden of reality...You mine as well be wishing for Levy, Walsh, with a twist of Lombardi...because it's not happening.
  8. Ultimately your ideal coaching scheme would cost way too much for Ralph, and would result in some serious leadership confliction after one or two losses.
  9. But...I thought we just wasted a second round draft pick on Wide Reciever? BTW, I agree with your QB assessment to a degree. Yeah, JP Losman wouldn't be half as bad if he were on the Giants... But he is doing nothing to turn the tide. We have viable "playmakers" in Reed, Lynch, and Jackson. That's enough to get started. For the most I disagree with your Evans assessment. He's often open in coverage, and Trent ignored him this season, and so it leads one to believe he's not open...which is not the case.
  10. You quit on your football team? Really? Couldn't take another 8-8 season? Good job, pal.
  11. Are you blind? They are winless! We were .500 or better all season up until this week. Yeah, we blow expectations out the window, but sh*t man...don't you try and equate us to the ineptitude of the Lions!
  12. That's fine. I don't see that guy winning a playoff game anytime soon. We don't have the answer, but at least Trent Edwards is better than Pennington. Pennington has the best backfield in football, and only mustered 16 points on us with like 800 minutes in time of possession.
  13. Joe Flacco is awful. They won a superbowl with Trent Dilfer because of that defense. I don't want to hear one person pretend like Joe Flacco would make a difference on this team.
  14. I don't want Pennington. Did you even watch that game?? THEY SUCK! They won because 16 points is a blow-out against us. He couldn't convert the critical 3rd and 10 because he couldn't his a fairly wide open receiver. Trent Edwards will, no matter what, in my opinion be better than Cad Pennington. He has no talent and barely completes 30 yard passes. He's got composure, but that hasn't won him a playoff game yet.
  15. I don't know about that, but our third down conversion rate, as well as redzone percentage would at least climb a few notches.
  16. That's impossible. Michael Gaines (It pains me to fathom this) even better than Royal. He and McCargo are the two undisputed god-awful Marv Levy decisions!
  17. I'll take a crippled Kevin Everett over Robert Royal.
  18. No. He didn't drop a pass. It was a WR PASS PLAY, Lee Evans faked out the entire Titans defense, leading to a WIDE OPEN ROYAL. The result: Royal only gets one foot in bounds, completely uncovered. Bills settle for field goal: lose game. Worst Bills game I've attending in the 2000 era.
  19. Agreed. Also, on the JP audible: It's not his decision. If Lee has one-on-one coverage he HAS TO MAKE THAT AUDIBLE! You make it seem like JP sabotaged the great Schonert offense...No. He might have made a poor throw, but that toss shouldn't have been an option. If anything it's really Schonert's fault that Hardy wasn't the one who was lined up for one-on-one coverage so at least even I could toss up a TD! Why did they even get Hardy if they weren't going to abuse his height. All athleticism aside, he is a wide receiver, I'm pretty sure he can catch a toss up.
  20. Haha. You took me seriously. Which is funny because you're right. I know there are a$$hats who think it was his fault.
  21. Robert Royal will never improve. Don't even make jokes about that. He is the least clutch player I have ever seen (Ronnie Harmon aside).
  22. I'm pretty sure that throw was JP's fault...
  23. Speculating laughter? You guys aren't even joking...someone said they wanted him dead... I think the Buffalo Bills and their losing ways have seriously gotten the best of some of you. I joined this board before the year began even though I had lurked it for a while because I thought this year was going to be the year. Hell, that's why 90% of you are so mad. If the expectations were as low as they had been in years past, I think we'd be only marginally upset. Right now, this is sick. This anger has taken a new toll. I'm not a sucker because I'm a fan of the Bills. They lost. I can live with that. You think Cubs fans cry themselves to sleep because their owner laughed after a loss? Call me what you want, but I will be at all 7 home games next year. For the rest of this season, I'll probably just DVR the games. That is the extent of my anger, but do not think for one second that I am so pathetic that I will abandon ship on one of my most passionate past times. It's not happening. And those of you encouraging, hypocritically nagging and pleading others to do so...please, realize that you are being a sore loser. Really, I know: 10 years of losing spoiled by roughly 5-7 years of greatness preceding it. We get it. It sucks. Now is where we separate the men from the boys. Leave if you must, but please don't pretend you were there all along when this ship gets turned around.
