  1. You're an idiot. I'm not a JP fanboy. It's just silly to pretend like we're not making the playoffs because of him. Wake up and realize we're not making the playoffs because your young gun turned out to be a choke artist who's afraid to look 10 yards downfield. I don't want to get into JP v Trent arguments because they both sucked horribly. I do however, want to shun people who are promoting this idea around that JP lost us that game. Trent scored 0 first half points, JP scored 3. They both couldn't get it done and I'm starting to think it's more because our team really just isn't that good.
  2. The only thing garbage is people blaming the loss on JP. I knew it would happen, to lessen the pain and reality of how horrible Trent has become, but I'll try to laugh it off anyway. For the record, both QB's were able to manage the game into the red zone a total of 4 times. I'll give you that it was all Marshawn, but the dropped passes, poor play calls, and line collapses in the red zone are why we lost. If we just kick field goals and don't miss them, we win the game.
  3. KR for touchdown, 2 INT's (one for TD) in 2 weeks.
  4. Woah, woah, woah... Hold the phone. Clinton wasn't black?
  5. You can always look at a draft in hindsight. We didn't think much of Royal, and he wasn't what we were looking for. Regardless, Royal's production is more a product of the (all of the sudden) pass happy Cutler-run Broncos offense. The kid's throwing for 400 a game. If he Trent was throwing 400 a game I doubt Hardy would have 87 receiving yards. Please stop with this draft analysis crap after 10 games.
  6. Not to mention their disappointing quick exit at the NIT
  7. Because he met Tony Romo, not because he got to see some movie.
  8. Watch out. That's a negative opinion.
  9. That's fine. I said it was my opinion. I don't care about the homeless. That doesn't make me negative, that means I have a different opinion than yours.
  10. That didn't get past me and was what I was hinting at when I said that seeing the movies with romo was not what he should be doing.
  11. Sorry I didn't sympathize with a professional athlete spending 8 dollars on a homeless guy. I agree, that blatantly shows how negative I am. What have I done? I share a different viewpoint than you. I hold the door for people when I enter and exit places. I tip waitresses, I buy people I know gifts for holidays. I don't do anything abnormally nice, I just exercise being a decent samaritan. That's enough for me. I don't go out of my way to help someone I don't know because I don't know why they need help in the first place. I don't take the time to find out if they were a heroin addict, a drunk, or a poor unfortunate soul who lost their family to a devastating accident. That's my position, and I'm fairly certain my right to have that position. I'm not negative, I just don't feel any better for Romo than than I did before I read that article. Again, I don't have to. I'm typically an optimistic guy, but when you take my personal stances and call me negative, that's just you being naive. I have a right not to feel good about Romo. I'm sorry you feel otherwise, but I wasn't attacking you for your opinion of the guy, I just disagree with your opinion of the guy. Next time refrain from making it personal and calling me negative when you don't know me.
  12. I'm equally upset with the team. Which is why I am disagreeing with you. It doesn't seem to be a QB problem at all, it seems more like a constant lack of motivation and togetherness that other teams possess when the play us. I didn't start this thread, nor am I the biggest advocate of Vick in this preposterous hypothesis. I just am standing by my original statement, if we got him, I would not be upset. At all.
  13. Six years. Twice went to the playoffs. Sorry I tossed around the term consistent. Maybe this stat excited you: Nine Years. Zero playoff appearances?
  14. I was going to write a similar thing because he needs to do more than pay the 8 dollar admission for a homeless guy to watch the movies for me to give a damn. He probably took away precious time from that homeless man who clearly had no intention about the movies and literally had about 1,000 more important things to do in his life...like get a job. Maybe if Romo got him a job or something, I don't know. It's stupid that that gets written about when countless players spend countless hours with sick children. I don't care about the homeless. Never have. I have no sympathy for the person begging in front of a "now hiring" McDonalds. So why then, would this make Romo an ambassador for the sport?
  15. Fantastic defense, sir. Not only is McCarthy not Brett Favre's coach, but you were actually able to get me to become a lifelong supporter of DJ. I just realized my errors. What was I thinking? OF COURSE he is bland. Duh, I'm an idiot after all.
  16. I forgot Vick only lead his team consistently to the playoffs. What a loser. It's a great thing that the Bills don't invest in those type of players. Or, you know, they'd make the playoffs or something.
  17. No he didn't. And that's not true. What a blatantly annoying and ignorant thing to say. Trying to bring in and bash JP when clearly Edwards is no better? Did you think that was a healthy contribution to this thread?
  18. Take back that time when you say that my contribution value was "nothing"?
  19. Typically fan generated possibilities never come true. Therefore, I think it's absurd to even discuss Vick further. That said, you really would have to ignorant not to sign him. Proven winners are certainly something we lack.
  20. I'm at the point where I don't normally disagree with that entirely. Normally I'm 100% opposed to pulling a young QB in the fear that it will mess with them in the future (see Losman). Right now I'm at about 80% against that, and it's only because I think JP is very talented and that four games was what I said it should take Edwards to get out of the slump and he's still in it. In other words, if JP plays next game I would be only significantly upset, but probably after his first 83-yard Touchdown to Evans I would be calm. I want playoffs now, and while JP might be the answer to that, Trent is clearly going to play the games because of his upside, and because the coach has 3 more years and needs a quarterback for them.
  21. I strongly disagree. I don't think that DJ thinks Trent is really failing on the field. I think he's ignoring that as a possible issue because he is "the guy". I think in saying that he isn't in a slump he's telling us that he's not sucking on the field. Also, I think the first thing you need to do when interpreting Dick is try to avoid using the obvious. Trent sucking, is one of those things. DJ is ignoring that because he's been trained to over think issues. He's like me as a test taker. I think he sees there is an obvious solution to the problem, but then he over-analysis the question and arrives at the wrong conclusion. For instance, he sees that Trent is playing bad, but ignores that it means Trent himself is bad.
  22. Interpretation: Don't blame Trent, it's not his fault we can't afford turnovers when you play not to lose. ... The funny thing is that I'm serious. That is the correct interpretation. Other people will crack jokes about what he meant by that, but honestly, seeing through that bullsh!t that is what I, and everyone else should take from that. It's not really a new issue though that in conferences with the media Dick avoids all logic when arriving at his answers. He used typical ivy league jargon to awe the journalists with a long answer to satisfy them with quotable analysis, but in the end all that crap that he said was the typical "no comment" response. Think about it. Of course he wont blame Trent. Likewise he wont blame himself. Even further beyond that, he wont blame anyone, do anything, or pretend like going from 5-1 to 5-5 is a bad thing. What do you want from Jauron? He proved to us last game that he isn't who we thought he was. I'm sorry I used to defend him, and I was previously blind when it came to seeing his lack of ability. I truly apologize.
  23. No. I keep dissenting your threads with the hope that you will soon stop. Unfortunately you wont. Call it what you will, but until you call yourself out for being annoying, and often ignorant, silly, and childish I will continually remind you each time you start a new thread that it was a poor idea.
  24. The problem is that the only way we really could prove that we're capable of pulling a win-streak was if Trent could show that he could at least beat the Browns at home. He failed, and while I'm typically optimistic, the fashion in which he failed was extreme enough for me to consider your scenario incredibly unlikely.
