  1. I agree that quick knee jerk reaction probably wouldn't be the best move at this point, but to start with "Sitting with Brandon" is part of the problem. 9 out of 10 Bills fans that you ask are going to say DJ needs to go, but the only one that matters isn't going to pay two coaches for a couple years, since they just signed DJ to an extension. Most likely stoneface Jauron will still be there opening day 2010.
  2. If I were Ralph Wilson I would say, sorry I don't have time for this, still looking for big enough ear muffs, winter is approaching quickly.
  3. I totally agree, if everyone, fans, former players, etc. just keep their frustration to themselves and go around smiling like all is well in Billstown, nothing will ever change. A little pressure needs to be put on these clowns, and the more famous the person saying it, the more pressure it is. Now we need about 150 more ex-Bills coming out with their frustrations besides just Talley and Thurman. Maybe the commissioner can suspend the owner and everyone else at OBD for conduct detrimental to Bills fans, the reputation of the NFL and for such embarrassing performances that even the biggest Bills fans get sick watching it.
  4. He made the HOF for what he did 50 years ago, and the fact that it is the 50th anniversary of the AFL. If they were to base it on the last decade or so, they would have put him in the "No Clue Clown Wing" in Canton.
  5. Nothing to curse you about, your statement is the exact same feeling I have. Ralph did some great things in the past, whether it is his age, money or whatever, he hasn't been a good owner for well over a decade. I appreciate what he has done over the years, but until he leaves it won't get any better. It has been over a decade since this team was in the playoffs, and that year, from all that I have read, was ruined by RW when he demanded that Wade Phillips play Rob Johnson instead of Doug Flutie. They keep changing Coaches, GM's, players, cheerleaders, popcorn salesmen, etc., but nothing changes, because of the one constant through all of this misery-RW.
  6. Just because they are former players, doesn't mean that they can't be fans like we are, and me personally-I am fed up with the way the ownership has run this team into the ground, a total joke around the NFL. Sadly, what Thurman said is the truth, like it or not.
  7. I agree that the best protests would be an empty stadium and you are right, that won't happen. They have booed at RFK Stadium at the Redskins the last two home games, maybe some of that might work at the Ralph. A different angle, didn't the winning stop about the time they changed the name of the Stadium?
  8. I would send a bigger message if nobody showed up for the Browns game, either that all wear dog masks and cheer for the Browns.
  9. My guess is your right, this organization isn't going to make any changes that make sense.
  10. I am a firm believer that the team/organization that a young QB goes to has alot to do with how his career turns out. What would have happened if Brady was a Bill and Edwards was in New England? Might be looking at NFL history in a whole different way. What if J.P. went to Pittsburgh and Ben came here, Ben might be the one getting ready to play in the UFL. I know a player has to perform, but often like anything else in life, they may only be as good as their surroundings, and for the last decade or so, that hasn't been very good in Buffalo.
  11. I have been to funerals where the body in the casket has more emotion than DJ does. This team is pathetic and isn't even going to reach the annual 7-9 record this year, lucky if we win 3 games with the stiff of a coaching staff and ownership. This team needs few players with Talley's heart and that would only be a start.
  12. Going into todays game, the Bills offense was ranked 6 or 7 positions higher than it was last year, and our O-Line really sucks this year, so it doesn't same much about last years O-Line with Fat Asss Peters on it.
  13. Brandon didn't sell me shiit, just because I am a Bills fan, I don't look at everything with regards to this team with horse blinders and rose colored glasses. Anyone who can look at it unbiased, would agree that he was overrated and lazy, it is a no-brainer-that is if you have a brain.
  14. If I wasn't a Bills fan I would be laughing at them too, unfortuneatly I am too disgusted to laugh when it comes to this team.
  15. I don't think I could ever hate the Bills, I have been a fan for over 40 years, but I am disgusted to the point of wanting to vomit. They are the most pathetic excuse for a football team I have seen in years. Every year it is the same thing, the first game or two they give you a little hope then they quickly fall back into their mistake filled, poor gameplanned, even poorer executed, piece of shiit excuse for a football team. They are without a doubt a worse team than the Lions are this season, and it won't surprise me at all, in fact, I expect them to lose to Cleveland next week too. I can't even think of a better way to say it other than, the Bills suck so fuuucking bad it isn't even close to being funny. This organization is a joke from the owner on down, and isn't going to get any better anytime soon. It has been over a decade of bad, penny pinching decisions one after another, poor drafts, poor coaching, poor efforts on the field, terrible game plans, stupid mistakes, I can go on and on, but why waste my time, I wasted a couple hours of it this afternoon watching that pathetic team. I need to quit torturing myself with this team.
  16. How do u figure it was even a bad decision? Only one team wanted him and they paid hi 6.5 million, that he wouldn't have otherwise made. It might help if he put forth a little effort and catch the damn ball. Unless it hits his numbers, he can't catch it. His hands are like rocks. That interception in front of him, for some reason he rolled on the ground so he didn't have to chase him and make a tackle.
  17. Peters gave up the most sacks of any LT in the NFL last year, they can suck without him just as well as they could with him. Don't miss him at all, he was over rated and lazy.
  18. Buffalo vs. New England is only a rivalry in Buffalo's eyes. Why would they consider it a rivalry when it has been forever since they have lost to us? The only reason we consider it a rivalry, which it is more of just pure envy, is because they are the only team in the AFC that has done any winning since Moby Dick was a minnow.
  19. Yes of course they tried to bait him after the last game, and I never said they didn't, but to say everything ever said by T.O. was because the media baited him is ridiculous, and if you think otherwise you do need meds-not to mention you must have been in a coma for the last decade. How did the media bait him to slam Jeff Garcia and say he was a homosexual? How did the media make him sit in his driveway working out like a mental case? How did the media make him try to overdose on pills? How did the media make him slam McNabb and the Eagles to the point that they kicked him off the team? Disagreeing with someone on a controversial issue, in which there are as many people who agree with Dungy as there aren't, doesn't warrant the hate and overboard ranting that was displayed. I never even said I agreed with Dungy, but it was more than a little over reaction don't you think? Me wanting the team in disarray and wanting T.O. to run over teammates isn't true, but it doesn't matter what I want because it will most likely happen anyway eventually. Read a post before you react to it, and don't read things into it that aren't there.
  20. As we were reminded every game by the TV announcers last season, we had the biggest O-Line in the NFL, how did that work out? Not very good. Size isn't everything. Have you ever seen Anthony Munoz, maybe the best ever? I met him last year, and he is tall, but he doesn't have big fat rolls hanging around his belt, just to have size. Strength, speed and intelligence are far more important for an O-Lineman than excess body fat.
  21. When the combined record of the two teams after 3 weeks is 1-5, that is a good start to why the rivalry is dead. Also kinda leads one to believe that the game is meaningless to anyone outside Buffalo and Miami too.
  22. I am not too sure that they are close to recovering from Donohue's term as GM and all the first round picks he traded away.
  23. Of course there is a good chance we lose to Miami, with this team, there is a good chance we lose to Cleveland too. Either way, Jauron isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Anyone that follows this team and their ownership, knows Ralph isn't going to pay Jauron $3 million a year to sit and home and pay someone else to coach the team. Look at the last time he got rid of a coach under contract, he tried everything he could to not pay him what he owed him (Wade Phillips).
  24. T.O. made his bed years ago and has continued to fuel the fire, so he has nobody to blame but himself. Him trying to blame it all on the media is rediculous on his part, he is obviously in denial. Oh yea, and Dungy wheres a ring on his finger that this organization might never see. He would be the best coach we have had since Levy, and maybe even better than him.
