OOPS...lol I wonder if McShay knows this video exists

That's a def oopsie by McShay, but who doesn't have an oopsie? -
Now be nice. Generally I consider HPlarrm's posts to be well thought out and written. His grasp of the English language seems to be well above mine and many on this board. Doesn't matter whether I agree with him or not, he conveys his points well. I look forward to his posts.

I deserve to be shot by a musket for adding the "H". I blame the high percentage beer last night

If we can negotiate giving him a lobotomy then maybe. Otherwise no.

I can't think of a witty title for this article...

Too tit bit nipply to help a child in need. That's a sorry excuse for not going after the little one. Perhaps there is info we are missing though. -
If we try hard enough I'm sure we can connect how the results of Gettysburgh managed to convince Archduke Ferdinand's driver to take that fateful turn down the Sarajevo street. Silly English and French just had to force Germany to sign a blank check for war damages and therefor open the door to the fuehrer. Ugh. Anyways go Sabres!

She could be more blonde but she has some nice attributes.

Why do I even bother to post. John I think you worded it much better than I ever could have. Ralph probably trusts Nix and will let him do his thing. As someone said, this draft will be one of his great defining moments. Getting very excited for next week.

I'm not sure about the past but in the Nix era I think Buddy will make the pick with Gailey and Whaley's input. These men want to win and win badly. Nix has the balls to tell Ralph to back off if it comes to that and let football men do their jobs. Of course telling your boss to back off can cost a man his job. He can also let Ralph make the pick and continue the Bills futility. Something tells me Buddy is not into futility and he'll put his foot down if need be.

Why Did the Revolutionary War start?

That Marquis de Lafayette was an extraordinary man. I'll definitely look up on amazon for a good biography on him. In history classes they seemed to gloss over the interesting parts. It was always dates, dates and more dates. -
I'm wondering the same thing. One of the pics shows how massive his upper body is but with those baggy shorts it's hard to tell if he has the leg muscles to really take on bigger guys like LB's.

Autobots unite! I hope Easley turns into a Jetfire/Skyfire.

You're fairly hard core, I'll give you that. nice quality tats. I bet those didn't come cheap either.

R.Rich's mock draft round 2 BILLS on the clock
Pilsner replied to Ramius's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We need a TE in the worst way possible. I originally voted Kyle Rudolph but changed my vote to Wilson. With so many quality TE's that will be available in FA (if FA happens) we had better take one there and fill our D from picks. -
Last season I gave ESPN a try, and Chris Berman was the only one worth watching as always. He'll always rock in my book. This draft I'm going to give NFL network a try and see what all the fuss is about. They just seem to have their act together a bit more. I'm done with Kiper, he's still entertaining at times but not so much anymore.

I can see the benefits of having a high draft pick if we tank the season. But it's just not in my character or genes to tank anything. Are you serious? If you were the coach as you say, you would honestly tell your players to just give up the season? A lot of these men are players who do not know the meaning of giving up. That is how they came to be in the NFL in the first place. I see your point about getting a high pick but I doubt any player of worth will agree with you. You make the most of what you have and you never tank anything. On second thought, are you a troll here to ruffle some feathers? Perhaps you are. Well you ruffled my feathers. Perhaps I shouldn't have posted. You got an extra reply more than you should have. I hope our team does well this coming season. If we are still in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes next year then so be it and I hope we get him. But any team or group of men who have any moral fiber should not willingly lay down their arms and submit to the football gods. You go all out or you go home. Screw whatever slotted pick we get. What really matters is making quality picks in the high rounds with what we have. We've sucked at this for years though and it needs to change. Gunning for the top pick is for fools. We got very lucky with Bruce I will admit. A quality team makes the right calls and drafts the right guys no matter what slot. We need to start making the right picks. Time will tell though. No amount of high draft picks is a guarantee of turning a team around. It's quality, it's always about quality no matter what round. If Luck is there next year and if we have the chance to get him, then go after him. But telling a team to suck it and bend over for a season is no way of building a solid foundation.

It took me a while to realize what we read in history classes was a lot of bs. I got my fair share of shellacking from history teachers for not agreeing to what they tried shoving down our throats on various historical accounts. After reading and doing my due diligence I became more aware of things. I began to think that it must've been more than just about slavery. Slavery was part of the issue but not the whole issue. State's rights had a part in it. European countries about to recognize the South as a sovereign state came into account during the war. Tgreg, your post put a lot of things into perspective for me and I will continue to read about the era and verify things for myself. But with an open mind as to the ideas you posted. It makes sense. Slavery wasn't the only issue and it wasn't a non-issue. It was a part of the issue. I think no one here refutes this. People here just don't agree as to the degree of the issue it was. So as one poster said, we're all not that far apart on this. Just to the degree.

Gosh, ya, it's like they're trying to over compensate. I suppose there are no white male judges anywhere of unbiased ethical character anymore (even though I'm assuming male white judges are probably over 50% of the ones in our system). What a shame. On a side note, do any female judges of any race wear nothing underneath their robes on occasion?

Happy Belated Bday Chef! Have a great Bday weekend.

lol ok that does make sense. They can still have water in the cups for realism but not take actual sips.
-
I've learned that in the movies all cd drives can read cd's even when inserted upside down. Also every actor and actress gets their thirst satiated by empty cups. I don't know why they don't drink water to at least simulate real gulps. When an actor places their *full* cup of coffee on a counter it always has the clang of an empty cup. They weild their cups as if they're empty too. Come on actors at least try and fake it. Just a few little things I've noticed.

Great linky, I'll use it for now on. Thanks DrDankenstein. I appreciate all the series many of you listed. John Adams is definitely worth watching. I got the dvd set for my brother and as we watched each episode unfold I kept thinking to myself, I wish I had seen this in HS. It should be required viewing in HS history classes. But something tells me that the majority of students wouldn't pay much attention and miss out on the point of it. Babylon 5. Now that's a series I need to revisit. I didn't realize Eureka is available for streaming. Pretty kewl series. Mad Men, need to catch up on the episodes I missed. Dexter, I keep hearing good things about this show from my friends. Also there's a new series that just came out (too new for netflix atm) called The Borgias which is outstanding so far. I think only two episodes (I could be wrong) have been shown on tv. A new series on tv called Mildred Pierce is also good. Just cool seeing the era that my dad saw when he was a youngster.

I've been looking more into interesting series on Netflix recently. Just finished watching The Pillars of the Earth (great series btw), seasons of Friday Night Lights, recently started watching Spartacus, The Tudors (awesome), and Robin Hood. Just been browsing around and looking for other quality series to see. Noticed older (60's) and newer (90's) versions of Dark Shadows are on, and also Weeds is available which looks interesting. Secret Army isn't on yet tho which behooves me. Great classic BBC series about WWII espionage. Just curious if any of you out there have some entertaining and quality suggestions for kewl series old and new to check out? Thank you in advance.
