Once upon a time QBs were developed. Now everyone expects a polished starter off the bat. I feel bad for the young guys trying to break in league because there is so little patience anymore. Like most, EJ wasn't ready. I hope he eventually gets a true shot, whether it is here or somewhere else.

Always with the negative waves, Moriarty. How about if they just skip the flight and forfeit? They have a shot, as long as it may be. The defense did not play its best in the 2nd 'fins game. I expect them play better and to scratch and claw their way for 60 minutes.

Being innocent certainly helps but it's not a panacea, as we know. While what happened in Ferguson has been ruled upon by the grand jury, people will retain plenty of questions that probably won't be answered. Things happen; cops do lie. The recent Cleveland case comes immediately to mind.

I have never had a negative interaction with police either but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen to others. I know for a fact that it does to people who were just going about their day minding their own business.

I was hoping EJ would get a few snaps as well but I'm fine with keeping Orton in to help foster cohesiveness on offense. Like others, I am hoping that EJ makes the most of his next shot with the Bills. It wasn't so long ago that it was expected that your rookie QB would sit and learn for a few years. Agree. This is likely the best opportunity of his life. He's at the helm of a team on the rise with the ability to help them do Some good stuff. What QB wouldn't want to be in that situation? No way do I see the Pegulas getting cheap all of a sudden and d*cking the guy around.

Saw some commentary a bit ago (could have been Bleacher Report but I'm too lazy to go back and check) wherein the commentators referred to the Bills as 'pretenders' largely due to EJ's "inability" to throw downfield. While history tells me not to hope, something just feels different this year.

My voice is still scratchy. It was absolutely nuts, though we had good people around us in Sec. 336. The ceremony for Ralph was nice, with videotaped remembrances from former players like Tasker and Reed throughout the game. Jimbo's comments were short and sweet but completely conveyed the appreciation for what Mr. Wilson did for the team and the Buffalo areal. Totally satisfying experience that made the 5 hr drive home well worth it.

I, for one, am tired of the level of total disrespect the Bills are getting nationally. Some of that has to do with EJ, but not all of it. I actually was so disgusted that I turned off NFL Radio on my drive in to work this morning. Granted, the Bills won't garner a lot of respect until they start showing more competency and win some games but.....come on. Bring on the Bears. Go Bills!!!

^^^ I'm with this guy. The second they pull up stakes, I'm done. I would also prefer if they left the team name in Buffalo. Call them whatever you want but they would no longer be the Bills.
